This hotel is located at a convenient place giving direct access to all major places in Paris + the air ports through the metro station. The hotel staff were very nice , the room was nice and comfortable. I did not have their breakfast as there are lots and lots of places around with many dining options. only downside is... More

Nice hotel, friendly welcome, comfortable room with very reasonable rate. As we are not fan of hotel breakfast, we have been able to enjoy them in the parisien cafes around. The location is also very convenient with the metro, RER and airports buses just opposite the hotel.

A nice little hotel, very well located. Good for business travellers as well small families looking for an economical option in the city. Breakfast is not a big spread but ok as you are an economy traveller. Rooms are quite small but then again the same rule applies; economy traveller ; ) Location of this hotel is a major plus,... We tried to check in after a long flight from the US. I got a room; my companions were told to wait until 2:00 pm. The front desk clerk was rude and dismissive. I needed to have a suit pressed for that evening. Their literature clearly states that they have laundry and dry cleaning service. When I called down to... More

Very nice place, friendly and quiet. Private parking a bit tight, do specify if you have a large car. Staff helpful, speak good english and go the extra mile to help you out. Night staff really nice too, Bedrooms are clean, bed comfy and a/c really discreet. Public transport really close and lots of bars, restaurants, shops etc... in the... More

No the rooms are not massive, however this is Paris and this is not the Ritz Carlton! I really love this hotel and have very fond memories here. It has evolved over the years and still today for the price/location is superior to others in the price range. Give it a try... Metro out the front... & Paris at your... More

Clean and modest hotel. Front desk staff are very welcoming. Location is the terminus for the OrlyBus, but Metro is nearby, so it's easy to get to other points in the city. The neighborhood has a young, lively feel with many great cafes and bars. I chose this hotel because I had an overnight stay between flights through Orly. Why... More

Excellent location in terms of public transportation and in terms of looking for place to eat. Helpful staff. Enjoyable visit even in the middle of train strike. People in Paris do give tourists big helping hands. Fantastic pastry available almost everywhere. You definitely enjoy shopping here as well.

After looking for a hotel in the city for a trip with our children and grandchildren and finding either nothing available or extremely high prices, we remembered this hotel where we had stayed several years ago. It was perfect for our needs. As in most cities, some of the rooms are small, but if you can take a triple or... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
