Conveniently located, next to restaurants, eateries, metro and train station. Staff were helpful and could arrange an early check-in knowing that we took a ling haul flight arriving in the morning. They also offered an alternative WiFi so that I can connect my work PC. The coffee/drink machine offers a variety of choice… just come with your mug to save paper or plastic cups. Rooms were clean but stoves were a bit worn out.
The room was very clean, important during covid. Some mildew in the shower. Small kitchen, well equipped but no directions for stove top that had very faint control markings that were unreadable, or convection microwave-- and I needed them. No sharp knives, paper towels, tissues or pot holders and no teapot, something I love. Good supply of dishes and other utensils. Auban supermarket nearby and Monoprix on the corner for groceries and other needs. Ample electrical outlets. It would have been nice to have one tv channel that offered CNN or SKY News. All the 20+ channels were in French. Many charming restaurants and shops nearby. Be sure to visit one of the Breton Creperies in the area. My favorite is Josselin on rue Montparnasse. Several buses and metros serve the area near the big Montparnasse station. A great location. It is within a 15-20 minute walk of the Bon Marche department store and the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal. I would happily stay here again.…
It's a great choice if you wish to travel around France, the hotel is close to Montparnasse Station where many trains to Normandy and other regions leave from. The Lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. Inside of the room, we had an impression it was not spacious enough due to the way it was arranged, but besides, all was fine.
I stayed at Citadines for a full month. I had just relocated from the US to Paris, and I was set up there temporarily while settling down. The hotel offers good value for money, is located in the vibrant Montparnasse area with plenty to do and good train/metro connections. The apartment I stayed in was quaint and had nice views of Paris rooftops. What I appreciated the most was how forthcoming the staff have been. They were very friendly, flexible and quickly accommodated for my requests. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a longer stay while you discover Paris or start settling down here.
Well located, staff correct but room conditions needs some improvements. The room conditions did not looks like exactly the brochures pictures. Cleanliness of the room may be improved. Some bed linens should be replaced.
Spent 2 nights in the Studio, wich is spacious enought and fully equipped. Fridge, microwave etc... You can spend time with your family or alone and the supermarket is a minute away. Bathroom was clean, Coffee is offered in the little lobby and you have a business center with a computer that you can use. The little issue is that if you turn on the air conditioning room 13, I don't know if the same in other rooms, you smell like someone is smoking. That smell might come from bellow ground floor or basement. I would also recommend to add tissues in the rooms
We needed a hotel close to Gare Montparnasse and since we were only staying for 1 night, we decided to go as cheap as we could. We booked our hotel stay on Expedia and when we arrived, we weren't disappointed. The room was small but somehow they managed to squeeze in a small table and 2 chairs, which acted as auxiliary shelving for our backpacks, toiletries, etc. There was a small kitchenette and it was fully stocked. For us for 1 night it was perfect, for an extended stay, we would have definitely upgraded to a larger room. If you're okay with a tiny room which still has all the amenities you need (kitchenette, utensils, fridge, pots, pans), I would definitely book here. It's right across the street from the train station and short walking distance to many shops, restaurants, services, etc. Next time we visit Paris we'll consider staying here; the location was great and the price was right (even for larger rooms).…
Hi, I was a solo traveler and it was a very good stay at Citadines Maine Montparnasse. It stone throwaway distance from Gaite Metro station. One can get down at Montparnasse station also which is the main station and can ask the direction of the Gaite metro station which is is walkable distance from Main Montparnasse station. Good service at hotel and there is CARREFOUR CITY in left of the Hotel around 100 mts. and AUCHAN of the right 100 mts if you want to go to bigger shopping center one can go Place d' Italie. There is a small Kitchen in an apartment with all the utensils there you can make a food of your choice if you have a time.
The room is okay. Bathroom is spacious and adapted for disabled people. In my opinion, it lacks places for leaving personal care items. The hotel is very nice and offers hot drinks for free. We just had problems cause we thought room service was included, but it was not! So if you are messy, I'd recommend getting it. That's near the metro, bus station and supermarkets. If you enjoy walking, you can go sightseeing on foot.
Have stayed here before, mainly because of the convenient location (metro and airport shuttle). There are a range of apartments here, as we as hotel style rooms. I paid 200 euro per night for a very small studio apartment in the roof. The good: clean linen, modern bathroom tidy kitchenette, comfy bed. The not so good: capaable but somewhat disinterested reception staff (rarely got a bonjour and never a smile from any of them). My room was tiny, you literally had to climb over the bed to get to a small table which was squeezed into the window space (impossible to sit at due to the sloping roof). The blinds were broken, patched together with tape & moldy (photos attached). I am sure that there are better rooms available but at €1000 for 5 nights (no extras) I expect better.
