Mythical and imposing, languid and frenetic, Pigalle is a neon light in the Parisian night. The neighbourhood has always attracted bad boys and artists, musicians and adventurers. With neither a monument nor a meeting point, it lacked a spot that really reflected its tawdry values, brazen spirit and musical energy. And so, Le Pigalle was born. An authentic neighbourhood hotel, whose history was shaped by the cultural mix that swirls on the southern slopes of Montmartre. The team is local and will take you to meet some of the places, people and stories that bring Pigalle alive and make Paris so vibrant. The croissants are provided by the nearby bakery, the books selected by the local bookstore and the music chosen by a neighbourhood DJ who also is an album collector and happens to be born in Pigalle. Local artists, shopkeepers and restaurant owners, they all have something to say about their neighbourhood. You can meet up for a drink, a night (out), or a coffee. This is Pigalle!

The property is lacking in most estheticly pleasant elements. I can't believe it is associated with Marriott. Furniture in room was damaged plus sitting area lounge tattered. Stairway lounge and lower level lip lounge were in poor taste and excessive wear. Most importantly security is a risk, unauthorized and unannounced room access by maintenance services. No notice just a surprise person in your room when you are out and find them when you return. That's quite unacceptable! Staff, if you can identify them are so relaxed it's hard to determine who is a responsible person that represents the property. Definitely a disappointment to my party and I would think to Marriott brand. Food options are very limited. The French toast was the only thing I found pleasing as a breakfast option.

So there were a few little minor flaws with our stay but the good stuff was so good I had to give it 5*. It’s in Pigalle which is lively so perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. The first night we arrived which was a Sunday there was a club/bar open opposite all night. People in the street smoking. Lots of talking. Not the music but the thud of the base. Strangely that was the only night. Other nights were actually very quiet. My room 14 had a bright light outside which again affected my sleep. Everything else was amazing. Quirky hotel giving a nod to the old red light days. Great fun. Really cool vibe. Really great staff. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and again really quirky in a good way. Great shower and products. I would say incredibly good value for money. A really nice stay. 100% return.

We recently stayed 2 nights at Le Pigalle and had a wonderful stay. Things started very well and continued in the same vein. We came to the check-in at about noon, and the receptionist told us that our room was not yet ready. We told her that we understood it perfectly as we were early and that we were happy to have a drink at their bar / cafe and wait for the room. The room became available well before the scheduled check in time of 3pm and we went in. The room was amazing. It was large for Paris and had nice artwork on the walls, a full size bath in connection with the room, 2 sinks, a small table with a chair next to it and another chair elsewhere in the room, a king size bed. There was also a shower room and a separate toilet. Everything was well appointed, spotlessly clean and full size Le Labo toiletries - shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion - were provided. We enjoyed the bath and the bath products so much that we both ended up having a bath twice every day and made use of the soft and fluffy towels. The king size bed was super comfortable with 4 pillows and a lovely duvet. It was slightly higher than beds often are, which made it possible to store the suitcases under the bed. On the first night condoms were provided on the shelf next to the bed so they apparently and understandably expected people to get in the mood for love in such a lovely room. The room faced the inner yard which meant that there was no street noise. The fridge was well stocked with high quality cocktails and other drinks. We did not use any of them, but we bought some smoked salmon for breakfast and put it in the fridge the evening before and noticed that the temperature of the fridge was too warm for storage of food. As we finished all the salmon the following morning it was not an issue. There was a bit of lack of storage space in the room but we still managed fine. They had various Le Pigalle branded products in the room (laundry bag, bag for the hair dryer etc). I bought the laundry bag as a souvenir from the reception and have been very happy with it. It is such a nice souvenir of our stay there. Everybody at the reception and the bar / cafe were lovely. The bar was so nice that we ended up going there several times for a coffee or a glass of wine. Great service and wonderful atmosphere. The purpose of our visit was to have a belated 40 year anniversary break. Gosh, how great our stay was. It fulfilled the purpose of a romantic break perfectly. I am sure we will be back!

I mostly liked this hotel. Great location on a street with many bars and close to alot of great restaurants. Near metro and ubers were easy to get. The decor is a little shabby but in a cool way. Lots of locals in the bar/ restaurant which was cool. Downside was that I found a couple of hairs in the drain and on the blanket that wasn’t mine - pretty gross. Bright light was Chloe at the front desk. Immensely cheerful and helpful!!

Dear Guest, Thanks for taking the time to review your stay at our hotel. We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of our hotel and found our location convenient for exploring the local bars, restaurants, and easy transportation access. Our team, especially Chloe, is delighted to have made a positive impact on your stay with her cheerful and helpful service. We take cleanliness very seriously, and I'm concerned to hear about your discovery. Please rest assured that this is not reflective of our high standards, and I will personally address this with our housekeeping team to ensure it remains an isolated incident. It's wonderful that the unique decor and the local crowd in our bar and restaurant contributed to the great vibes during your visit. We would love to have you return in the future. Best wishes,

Quirky hotel - room looked good in pictures but was small and cluttered by design. Could hardly walked around the bed. The upkeep could be improved - there was mould/water damaged outside of the shower frame. Ask for a room on the highest floor for the best sleep as the ground floor cafe turns into DJ/club on the weekend until 2am. Could not hear the music from the 6th floor but could definitely feel the bass. Staff was nice and welcoming. Good location for a party weekend.

Very quirky hotel, loved everything about the room, the art, the amenities, the furniture, the tablet and the music speakers! The staff were very friendly and the check in process was very welcoming. The breakfast was nice and the coffee was very good. Would def stay there again. The tiles around the bathtub need some attention due to some mold around the skirting board, but that is the only thing that needs sorting

We had a really great time at this hotel. I think this hotel really depends on what you are looking for. We like to stay out and go to bars when we are on vacation. I think if you are not into the nightlife you may really not like this place. So be aware that this hotel is going to be a lot better for anyone who wants to stay up late and is not looking for a quite place to sleep. Pros - - Located on great street in Pigalle with several notable bars / clubs within a 2 minute walk. Some of the best bars in the area are on the same street. - Stylish rooms with a unique interior design point of view. Really loved all the photos and the rock edgy vibe of the hotel. - Lobby turns into a club (Fridays /Saturdays?) with a pretty decent turnout. We loved the built-in nightlife that came with staying in the hotel. - Food at restaurant is good, especially if you just want snack or a light breakfast. Food was also very quick, which we really appreciated as we were usually just having something quick before going out to another location. - Tables outside for smoking, but you can bring your drinks so that was really a plus for us. It was like a built in bistro available at the bottom of our hotel so if you needed to work or just wanted to read, you had a place to do it Cons - - The professionalism of the hotel management is questionable, very causal and often disorganized attitude, which is out of line with the price per night of the hotel. I had sent several emails about clarifying my reservation and they still called the day before to confirm and had not corrected the error. We got it sorted out, and they processed a refund but I had sent multiple emails months prior and was assured the initial mistake had been corrected, and it was not. - The cafe daytime staff are dismissive, and it can be a pain to get them to serve you. They are polite but not overly interested in serving any patrons. The night staff was significantly better, and we never waited more than 15 mins for anyone to come over to take our order. - The rooms are small, and the bathroom sink is in the same room as the bed. The water from the shower kind of gets everywhere. The room with the toilet is crazy small, and it's tricky to even get in there to use it. - The noise is significant. Not just from the lobby club, but this street has a lot of bars including an 'after hours' place that opens at 4 am so there is always people yelling and carrying on on the streets which even with the window closed is still loud enough to wake you up. There was also a very loud vent in our room, but we never complained about it, so that is on us. Again, we really loved this place. I just think this hotel shines for a younger demographic that wants a chic hotel with a party atmosphere in a great location. If you are looking for a quiet restful hotel with lots of amenities etc, this is not your place.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Le Pigalle was I suspect the warmest and friendliest hotel I have stayed in for work all year. Centrally located in an ‘interesting’ area of Paris I was able to walk to most meetings and the sound proofing meant each night was quiet and in disturbed. The most stand out pleasure was the warm welcome on check in and when I walked back in at the end if my day. Always ready with a restaurant of bar recommendation, the staff elevated my stay from good/Acceptable to a real pleasure.

Beautifully decorated hotel in a great area. Probably too relaxed for us to be honest. There was no reception, just staff sitting about on laptops. There also didn’t seem to be much urgency over anything such as when we asked someone to look at the safe in our room which wasn’t working and nothing happened. We were also very lucky our room was at the back of the hotel looking into a small courtyard as it was incredibly noisy at the front of the hotel. However the hotel was super handy for exploring Montmartre and also wandering to other attractions such as the Louvre or Arc de Triomphe. Breakfast was also included which was lovely and really good value for money.
