Very nice hotel, location is excellent, Panorama galleries are just next to it. Our room was rather small, but that is the case with most of Paris hotels. No problems with the heating (we managed to catch some snowy days in the middle of March,...More

The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

On June 1 we used Viator shuttle minibus service from CDG to Hotel BW Drouot at cost of $41.42 for (2) persons. Delivery was direct to the hotel door. This was ideal as it did not require managing luggage in bus, metro, taxi, etc. Our flight arrived later than scheduled, but only a short wait was needed before the shuttle arrived. Caution--have some euro coins on hand for the pay phone. For whatever reason I was not able to use the no-toll possibility. Service was efficient and courteous.
