Stayed for 2 nights between Christmas and New Year with 2 triple rooms to accommodate our 4 children and ourselves. The triple rooms were clean, small, but adequate for 3. The breakfast was great and coupled with a midday checkout meant that we did not feel rushed on our last day. Hotel location was close to the metro with a...

We stayed here for 5 days and it was a lovely hotel. The room was nice, a little small but that was fine, breakfast was beautiful, so much choice. The metro station was only about 50m away which was very handy as we used it everyday. The only thing that was missing from this hotel was a restaurant but overall...

Had read some good things about this hotel so decided to give it try Good location with a metro station less than a minutes walk away and not far away from Gare du Nord. The hotel was down a side street so you were sheltered from the noise of Rue La Fayette. The side street had bakeries and sandwich shops...

My husband and I stayed her for four nights in November. The hotel was clean, modern, perfectly located and the price couldn't be beat. The fact that the price included breakfast is amazing. I'm not sure if we were upgraded or not, but our room was quite large for Parisian standards. We even had two sitting chairs by the bed...

I stayed in Opera Cadet for a short shopping trip on November 25th 2011. The location of the hotel was excellent a short 10-15 minute walk from Galeries Layfayette and the Roissy Bus terminal. All the main tourist sites were within walking distance. The Hotel was clean and modern, with a lovely enclosed garden area. The best thing about the...

Writing on behalf of my mom, who wanted to add her 2 cents. I had such full confidence that this hotel was perfect in location and price range. She didn't really like it. Location was amazing, that much she agreed on; it was walking distance from the Louvre and Printemps, etc. However, the hotel was very run down, tiny rooms,...

I really liked this hotel. Considering hotel prices in Paris, it was a very good deal. Location is great, next to a metro station, not far from main attractions and surrounded by many bakeries, shops, restaurants... Breakfast was nice, but they didn't offer a great variety.

this is another cozy Paris hotel: elegant and helpful personal, breakfast with croissant, jam, butter and cheese in small boxes; unbelievably small rooms, leaking shower, cheep furniture, not working elevators, eternally going on renovations somewhere in the hotel... as usual it is good enough to sleep, not to take shower :) as everything it is in paris, it is overpriced;...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
