The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

Yes, the Opera Cadet has a secure lockup. We have used this service a couple of times. They have a lovely terrace garden off the lobby where you can have a nice glass of wine or a pot of tea if you are bone-dead weary and don't want to explore a little bit before your room is ready. We stay here after overseas flights that put us in a bit early for the housekeeping staff. We never think to arrange this in advance, which I would expect the staff would be happy to do.
