Good location and good size room. There are plenty of restos around and the metro is across the street. There's even a self serve laundromat a block behind the Metro/Starbucks. I was there for business. The bathroom with tub is a great perk. The wifi in the top floors isn't very strong. Clean hotel and room.

Location excellent, very close to a Metro station and many restaurants within walking distance, even for us. Hotel gives a list of these. which was really helpful. Reception staff were excellent, and reacted instantly to our only problem. Pleasant bar and very attractive conservatory to sit in. Usually we have gone to different districts in Paris, but we came to... More

As always, one has to consider one’s priorities in booking a hotel in Paris because it’s a challenge to find a good one that wouldn’t break the bank. Having said that, if location is your number one priority, Opera Cadet might suit you. The hotel is located near the Cadet Metro and is 8 – 10 minutes’ walk from the... More

We spent a week at Opera Cadet in Paris recently. Mike and his colleagues were amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cosy. The location was perfect, spoilt with choice for breakfast. Will always return to this gem.

We had the opportunity to stay at the Opera Cadet Hotel shortly after Xmas and what a delightful experience. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, scrumptious breakfast and very conveniently located not even 5 min walk from the Metro. We will definitely promote this hotel to anybody that is looking for value for money and a great experience.

My friend and I stayed here for one week over the December 2015 - January 2016 period. The location was perfect, with the Cadet metro station across the road and the Grand Boulevard station a short 5-10 minute walk away. Either station can get you to all of the Parisian landmarks. In addition, the staff provided a sheet with directions... More

We spent four days over Christmas at this pretty little Art Nouveau hotel in the Cadet area of Paris. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating without being too intrusive; there was a particularly charming barman who couldn't have done more to make our stay relaxing. The breakfast however was adequate, I would have enjoyed more of a variety to... More

They staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, was really nice to eat -in everyday. Rooms were clean, nice but a little small. When I come back to Paris, I will stay again, already referred to a friend.

While the staff was friendly, kind and accommodating, the actual hotel left a lot to be desired. Rooms are very small. There is no room service, i.e. if you want food, it's breakfast only. Location is good, there is a patisserie across the street, a market, a pharmacy, and basically anything you need outside of the hotel. The WiFi was... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
