I believe this beautiful boutique hotel is now closed. It had period furniture and was right across the street from the best patiserie in Paris. I tried to book a room for a week last month and the internet said it was not open. I hope for renovations and not forever
We are patiently awaiting the re-opening of the Hotel Opera Cadet. Its our very favorite Hotel in Paris. I hope it still maintains some of its old world charm when completed. The lovely flower boxes outside our window overlooking the bakery and street below. The quaint atrium and lovely breakfast area. The Metro just across the street. Perfect location! We miss it already. See you in 2023! Annette G
I booked through my company travel agent and I checked the hotel website. Nowhere it is mentioned that the hotel is closed. It's a big construction site. I arrive at 11p,m to realize that the hotel is closed. AWFUL experience.
This is one of the best places i have visited recently. Hospitality at its best and service is superb. I would recommend to this all ages. Thanks you so much for taking care of us during our stay. Bonjour.
Hi. I have stayed before and was wanting to rebook. But the site is showing no availability. On contacting the hotel they tell me that they are closed for a few years for refurbishment. Which is great in the long run, just a shame for me at this moment. Through I’d share the into here.
Located on a nice quiet street. The staff was professional and friendly. the lobby was nice and the rooms were clean. Restaurants and shopping near by. Most attractions were a 10 to 20 minute walk but I felt this hotel was a great value.Breakfast was basic but good.
This was my third time at the hotel; this time with my partner. All my wonderful memories were not disappointed. The friendliness of the staff, the ultra clean rooms and environs, the bountiful breakfast, the sunny courtyard and the super-welcome! Love this place! Perfectly situated ! Don't change a thing folks! Oh, and one last thing. Christmas in Paris is THE most romantic place to be with the one you love:)
In general very good. Position is excellent and the staff supportive. The value for money is correct and everything from booking to leaving very transparent for the customer. I would recommend this structure for your stay in Paris.
The hotel is a 15 min walk from the Gard du Nord so makes it easy when coming in on the Eurostar. It’s just off a main road so there’s many cafes, restaurants and small supermarket nearby. Good location for sightseeing if you’re happy to walk and explore Paris. Sacre Coeur is around 25 mins walk away, Eiffel Tower an hours walk, Notre Dame 35 mins and Louvre 30 mins so it’s a good base between most major sights. Hotel itself is fairly basic but fully functional. Beds are comfy, staff are nice and the breakfast is good.
We stayed at this property in late December. Our experience was a very good one. The hotel is a typical European one in that it is rather short on space. This will be no surprise to experienced travelers, but is something that a first timer may be surprised by. There is no hanging closet and no chest to store folded clothes. There is a closet with shelves for everything. The bathroom accommodates one person at a time. This was one of a few properties that could accommodate three adults in one room. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and everything was in working order. There was a mini-bar and some complimentary water. The hotel itself was on one of the smaller roads with much less traffic and noise. It had a nice garden area in back which is unusual. The restaurant served a fine buffet breakfast in the morning and was quite accommodating to us on the morning of our departure. They prepared a boxed take-away breakfast for us! The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and travel confirmations. I wish we could have spent more time in our hotel! One thing to note, however. The height of the tub and shower is quite high. It is several inches above the knee. People who have limited mobility may have difficulty with this. …
