Dear KathieKib, We are so happy that your stay with us was up to your expectations and that the services provided left such a good impression. The "Rue Cadet" is indeed very typical of Paris with lots of little shops and restaurants and it gives you a real feel of Paris life while still having an easy access to the... More

Well located with good access to shopping, restaurants & transport. Felt safe at all times. Hotel was clean although rooms were quite small. Bathroom was a little weird with the shower head not over the bath so it had to be used as a hand held. Quite expensive for what it was. Outside area quite nice & bar was nice... More

Dear juliamG2828GX, Thank you for taking the time to comment your visit at the Opera Cadet and noting that our location is excellent to enjoy Paris with lots of activities while in a safe neighborhood. We are renovating some of the bathrooms in order to satisfy some requests we had from clients. Concerning the bar prices, we believe they are... More

Loved every minute of our stay! Rooms clean, Staff excellent! Jacques the bartender friendly and professional and drink prices better than the cafes. I had visited Paris many times years ago so I expected smaller rooms. We had two triple rooms on this trip and with organizing suitcases room was adequate. The only reason I did not give the room... Dear Mike, What a wonderful review about the Opera Cadet! We are very happy that you enjoyed all our services and staff members, especially our famous Barman Jacques! Concerning the AC, it is true that we had a minor problem during the recent heat wave in Paris and we hope that this inconvenience did not alter your impression of our... More

Opera Cadet is a lovely and clean hotel. The breakfast is good. And the location is awesome. There are many supermarkets, bistros, very near to Galeries Lafayette, Grévin and metro station. The staffs are very helpful .

My husband and I found the Opera Cadet to be quite charming. While our room might be considered a bit small by some standards, it was exceptionally clean and well-appointed. We chose a package that included breakfast. The food was always fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We also really loved the location. There is a... More

Our family of 5 stayed here for our 4 days in Paris. We had two rooms. They are small rooms, but not impossibly so. The rooms were clean and had an electric teapot for a hot beverage. The hotel breakfast is free and was decent. Many options, meats, cheeses, eggs, crepes, cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee. Location is... More

I love the street this hotel is on except for one thing - the thing that makes it charming is also the things that detracts from it -its a busy working street! We spent 4 days here in July so got to know the location well and loved the location. We had two rooms, the adults on one that overlooked... More

Rooms are tiny and I´m a European myself so even to my standards they are tiny. Nowhere to put your suitcase and bathrooms are tiny. 80´s decor and the hotel desperately needs an overhaul. Breakfast is good and the location is OK. Not a 4 star to my standards. I have to say that the staff is polite and helpful... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
