The hotel is near to a metro station which was very convenient and also there wrew lots of restaurants nearby as well including chains like McDonald's and KFC. The room was okay for a one night stay, not somewhere I would stay for longer. The room had a small bathroom and the shower leaked, creating a puddle on the bathroom floor, mostly due up the glass panel. The windows weren't soundproof as we could hear road noise and loud people outside. Our room was a twin room and although the beds were a good size they were right next to each other, almost as if we had a king bed. The room came with a safe, tea and coffee facilities and extra pillows which were all useful. And there was a luggage store, although they didn't check our tickets so it wasn't very safe.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Montmartre. Paid parking space available around the corner. Very cosy place with neat rooms. All interesting places at walking distance. Very friendly staff. We will be back!

Just spent 3nights here with my partner. Location was perfect. Few minutes walk from Place de Clichy metro station and an easy walk to Sacre Coeur (avoiding the steps!). Staff were friendly and check in smooth. Room was surprisingly very spacious and the bed massive. Like that the toilet was separate from the bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and despite the large number of people staying in the hotel there was never a shortage of food or tables to sit at. Rooms were spotless and housekeeping clearly very attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and will indeed make it my base next time I am in Paris.

We stayed here as part of our tour of Paris. The location was not the best, even though it was close to Sacre Cour. The provided breakfast was mediocre and since the management opened the doors to the outside patio, we were inundated with bees. Definitely not conducive to having an enjoyable breakfast. Once again, we found that there was a lack of storage in the rooms and the bathroom had a 1/2 glass wall in the shower. This allowed water to migrate throughout the bathroom floor..

The room is not big and very shabby - broken tablette, à hole in the wall, broken hairdryer hanging out of the wall. There’s no hand soap in the bathroom. The food in the restaurant is very poor quality and extremely overpriced. I came in late and did not want to go out, but it was regretful. There’s not much good choices of hotels in the area, but you can pass on this one - not up to the usual standards.

Stayed at the Privilege Room with a view of the Eiffel Tower=) Room was very comfortable, enough room for 2 people to move around. AC was working fine, and a variety of complimentary drinks in the fridge. Perfect after a day of sightseeing. Loved the hotel's location, lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby. Walking distance to Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge. Love the Montmarte area! Front desk in general was average but shout out to Fara for going above and beyond! Hotel has a nice and modern lobby and breakfast area. Didn't get a chance to check out the rooftop/outdoor bar. I would stay in this hotel again!

We got the hotel at a good price. The room was spacious for a European hotel and the quality was ok. The bathroom was weird as the toilet was in a separate room from the sink and shower. The bed was also not that good. I only got one pillow and it was probably worse than the one I have at home. Although I might be biased because I did not sleep well due to jetlag. The hotel did have a good breakfast menu and we ate breakfast here every day. It was an all-you-can-eat buffet with bacon, eggs, toast, pastries, fruit, crepes, and a lot of other selections. Overall, we paid for what we got. I am low maintenance. I would rather pay less for less things. This was decent value.

I was in Paris for the Rock en Seine Music Festival however this hotel and it's location just topped off a brilliant 4 days. First bonus for this hotel is it's location. 2 minute walk to the Subway and right on your doorstep are all the cafes, bars and restaurants you can deal with. Lively bustling area of Montmarte. Moulin Rouge is round the corner a few minutes walk however my favourite area was en route towards the Sacre Coeur...street after street of lovely restaurants, bars and ice cream and craft shops. Brilliant atmosphere throughout this part and all on your doorstep. After a day sightseeing it was brilliant chilling in the evening here with the most difficult decision choosing what restaurant to eat in. Back to the actual hotel. Cannot fault anything during our 3 night stay. Rooms and bathrooms spotless. Cleaning staff bang on and receptions taff very helpful. Without doubt whenever I am returning to Paris I will be staying here.

The only reason this review gets any stars at all is for the sheer fact that the hotel was in a very accessible location to many bars, restaurants, and sites. The shared spaces for the hotel (lobby, restaurant, lounge) were relatively nice as well. Here's where the zero star review would come in if it were possible: For the price, our room was small and felt dirty. The carpet was visibly stained in quite a few areas and looked like it may not have been vacuumed thoroughly recently. The shower setup was lacking and it was impossible not to get water all over the bathroom floor when taking even a quick shower. One of the elevators consistently had issues taking either of our key cards to actually get it to move. Much more concerning than the items I mentioned above, was the way one of the front desk staff handled a major problem that the hotel had created for us: I thought my fiance had placed my passport in the hotel room safe, but the day before our flight out of Paris I noticed that it wasn't there. That's when we realized that we never got it back from the front desk clerk the night that we checked in. We immediately went down to the front desk, but when we asked the man working (on Monday June 27th 2022 between 11:30am-1pm) if he would please look around for it he seemed as though we were annoying him and that he could not be bothered to look. He specifically said, "we have no passports here". We urged him again to look and he opened one drawer, took a quick peek and assured us there was no passport. We felt the lack of respect from the front desk concierge when asked about the passport was completely unwarranted especially because at this time there was currently no one else at the desk to attend to. Because he refused to help us, we had to spend the rest of our day going to multiple Paris police stations, then going to the US Embassy to get a replacement passport so I could fly to Dublin the next day and continue on our trip around the UK for the next few weeks. This put an extreme damper on the end of our Paris trip and was unfortunate because we had to cancel our plans to spend our last day in Paris visiting the Palace of Versailles. Instead, we spent it running all over town, wasting the day, and spending 165 Euro’s on a replacement temporary passport + the cost of the Ubers to get to and from the police stations and Embassy. I will also have to incur the time/process of getting an actual replacement passport once back in the U.S. Even more frustrating was that when we got back to the hotel late afternoon/early evening that day (Monday June 27th) the new front desk clerk recognized us immediately and said he had my passport at the front desk. It was in one of the drawers at the front desk…the same drawer that his colleague we asked earlier to check for the passport looked in half heartedly and said he didn’t have it. I submitted a request to the hotel, Hôtel Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacré-Coeur Hotel, and hotel parent company, Accor, to tell them the issue and to ask them if they would at least cover the unnecessary replacement cost I incurred since it had been their fault my passport was "lost" in the first place. After I reached out respectfully to them twice and got nothing more than them questioning me why my passport was at the front desk and a "no" on helping cover my passport cost, I've been forced to leave this review due to their inaction. When again, the entire reason it was there was because their front desk employee forgot to give me my passport back upon checking in and then another refused to help us look for it. After the way this situation was handled by one of the front desk staff as well as Marc Villeger, one of Accor's internal staff, I would urge you to not risk your stay with Hôtel Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacré-Coeur Hotel or any other Accor hotels and properties. It's unfortunate they would not admit their financial responsibility for their neglect.

I am currently staying in the hotel and can offer no harsh criticism of it. The twin room on the 5th floor is spacious, clean and has 2 comfy beds. My only moan would be the pillows. Too soft for me but that’s a choice thing. There is a bathroom and separate toilet which is handy. The shower has great water pressure but the glass screen not big enough to prevent water egressing onto the floor. The room is equipped with TV, kettle with a variety of teas & coffees and a good sized safe. Small gripe is that there are no USB points for charging electronics. Staff that we interacted with were friendly & efficient. The room was cleaned and towels replenished every day of our 3 night stay. The hotel’s location is superb. Turn right from the hotel and you’re metres from the hustle & bustle of Place de Clichy with loads of shops, bars & restaurants and the Moulin Rouge area. Turn left, across the bridge and explore the Montmarte area which is absolutely fabulous. Quaint cafes, restaurants, bars and shops are all over this area on the rise to the Sacre Coeur Basilica. It’s an area you MUST explore.
