I travel to Paris for work a lot, 6 to 8 times a year. Usually half of those I stay at the Roblin. I generally only stay some where else because the New Hotel Roblin is fully booked, and it gets booked up fast. When i stay some where else, i generally wish i was at the Roblin. I always prefer a boutique hotel over a chain and the Roblin has some major plus points: -compared to other hotels in Paris it has large rooms and big bathrooms -the service is personal, they always remember you -the staff are extremely friendly and all speak numerous languages - they always upgrade you if they have room - the rooms are always IMPECCABLY clean - The breakfast is amazing, especially if you're in Paris for work and have a really early start The only down side is that on the upper floors in what i guess would have been the old servants quarters, the walls are a little thin. but this hotel is on one of the quietest areas of central Paris so this shouldn't be an issue. in a city where hotels are extremely expensive, and the range goes from great , straight to awful with little in the mid range, i highly recommend this one, its a very safe bet.…
First I would like to mention that finding fine hotel with normal size room, is not trivial in paris since they all have petite rooms which costs quite a lot - relatively to other places with same room size. We reserved a superior room but the lady at the reception was so kind and upgraded us to a deluxe room free of charge- thank you, it was a nice surprise & a nice welcome. I really liked the room decor- it is elegantly & chic designed and yet minimalistic with nice & calm color tones. The room was spacious with spacious bathroom. There is big window that you can open which is not easy to find in all hotels. The mattress & pillows were comfortable and the towels were good quality. The only thing that bothered us in the room that there is no shower door- weird and uncomfortable. The breakfast was good in an intimate dining room and you could find all the required products. The location was good & pleasant and some of the attractions can be made by walk. Very pleased from our choice in this hotel, I recommend it & if I would like to return to the same district, I would choose this hotel again. Thank you very much for your hospitality …
This is a review from a travel agent. The location of this hotel is unbeatable as it is conveniently in the heart of Paris. The room was always impeccable and clean. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, and it was above average compared to other hotels. There is a slight miscommunication upon my arrival at the hotel, however the next morning, M. Stéphane has resolved and handled the situation smoothly, promptly and very professionally. The staff were competent, friendly, and knowledgeable. M. Majdi were also very efficient and helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Paris.
Hotel feels newly renovated and fresh. Reception and breakfast staff very friendly. Good breakfast - larger than the typical Parisian coffee/croissant. Ask for a room towards the courtyard as they are quiet and you can even sleep with an open window. Elevator is extremely small so don't bring many bags...
Just came back from a 5 days stay at the New Hotel Roblin and it was great. The hotel has a restoration hardware vice - it's charming but modern and very clean. The rooms are small but have "American size" bathrooms. Breakfast was included every day and it was a fabulous buffet of all the french food you could ask for. The location is really close to a metro stop where multiple lines converge - making it really easy to get anywhere. Additionally, fantastic shopping just a short 5-10 minute walk away. My only complaint is that the room was hot at night - we had to sleep with the window open.
