Nice but Shortage of staff, bar closed most of the day, no smoking area, restaurant closed most of the day, dangerous windows for kids Very very small two elevators only which fit maximum 3 persons without luggage Homeless outside the door Empty mini bar Nice staff but they can’t do everything
Nice hotel in the heart of Paris. Big rooms and nice ambience decor with old radios and players. I have knocked down rating because of rude front desk person who managed to ignore me for 10 minutes while he was on the phone. Will I stay here again? Probably not....
I do not recommend this hotel. The hotel is nice itself. But the customer services we got is horrible, specially the girl in the bar. She didn’t let us go inside, and literally watching us the whole time like we are theft! Even when I warm up my install noodles, I didn’t use any of their stuffs but again, she followed us everywhere. We have 2 toddler. Requested a late check out so we can leave the luggages and take the kids to go eat. I understand if they can’t buy a very rude “ no, no late check out” with an attitude that kinda rude. Do not recommend with kids!
For the first time in downtown Paris, I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We were greeted by hotel staff who spoke both English and French. We had 2 adjoining rooms for 2 nights at this hotel for a total of about $500 each night. One room had a queen bed and was smaller in size. The other room was bigger and had 2 twin beds pushed together, and a oversized sofa bed chair that was unfolded and made for us before arrival. Each room had its own central air thermostat- unlike the loud A/C units like those in U.S. hotels. The rooms were clean (no dirty feet) and the decor was clean and modern. We could even see the Eiffel Tower from our window! Starting at around 10pm at night we got to see the Eiffel tower do its sparkling light display. The location was about a 10 minute walk from the subway/Champs elysees, which was doable. It was another 10 minute walk to the Arc de Triomph. A small Carrefour Market is just down the street for some quick necessities. Many dining options are within walking distance too. The breakfast buffet was among some the best foods we had while Paris. The spread ranged from pan au chocolat, to yogurt, fruit, mini crepes, muffins, and bread with cheese spreads and ham- plus more. Highly recommend paying extra for the breakfast buffet. The servers were really nice and courteous as well. The only negatives I have about this hotel are that the smaller, Queen room is relatively small so you're sleeping pretty close to the door and can hear when people are in the small hallway. The chair sofa bed was not very comfortable, as expected. Also, the glass shower door needs a better design because water seeps through the bottom of the shower door even when it's closed, resulting in a pool of water on the bathroom floor. (The other room had a tub with an adjustable shower head, which is typical in France). All in all, I would recommend this place!…
I had 3 rooms the lady mng. at Front desk made my stay very happy she arang close rooms to each other everything was super ( front dick staff , housekeeping, lobby, location) i recommend this hotel and keep up with the good service
Definitely coming back to Pley Good location, close to the Arc. As soon as I entered the lobby had a nice vibe with friendly and helpful staff. The check in was efficient and easy. My room was well maintained each day. Touch less check out was easy and convenient.
The team were fantastic and went out of their way to surprise us with some champagne and macarons for my partners birthday. The rooftop is a hidden gem in the height of the summer with fantastic views of the eiffel tower Location is great, 10 mins walk to the Arc Du Triomphe
We were very happy to stay at play hotel, the staff helped us with the reservation, we got offered for the suite, great decoration, totally silent environment, very clean (they were cleaning every day!!) great view of Paris. Everyone was so gentle and friendly, the kids loved it, the neighborhood is the best!! Next time we travel to Paris we will stay there definitely!!!!
Our family of 5 just returned from Paris and a stay at the Pley Hotel. We stayed in a family room, which was actually 2 spacious adjoining rooms and 2 bathrooms. The hotel is clean, beautifully decorated, and in a great location near the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the rooftop patio/bar has a great view of the Eiffel Tower. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel!
Great atmosphere to chill and look at the collection of albums and record players/ radios. The staff is friendly, specially the ones that run the outdoor lounge on the 4th floor. Great experience overall, can't wait to come back.
