The room is a very good size and the bed is comfortable and large. The curtains are opaque and darken the room well at night. The bathroom is small, but it has a bathtub, shower, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and almost everything you need in the bathroom if you want to travel without a toiletry bag (there is no toothpaste). It has slippers, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, and a safe (with capacity for a laptop), although it is located below the closet. On the downside, perhaps the closet is a bit small, and since the safe is downstairs, the dresses collide with it. It is a 10-minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe, and although it may not be the most central part of Paris, if you don't mind walking, you can go to many places from there on foot. There is a direct elevator to the room. Breakfast is somewhat worse. There is variety, but the quality is not as good as the hotel.

Excellent structure. We stayed three nights, my husband and my eight year old son, we had a wonderful time, the room is equipped with every comfort, very large compared to Parisian standards, the large bathroom with tub and very large shower equipped with shower gel, shampoo and body cream both in the shower and in the bathroom area Water with separate space from the bathroom really super comfortable very comfortable bed. with an excellent new mattress and cotton sheets. The idea of an evening aperitif with music and the possibility of eating a quick meal accompanying the aperitif is excellent. The friendly staff is prepared and ready to provide any information. applause also goes to the Italian reception and dining room managers who took care of every type of request for information and, above all, were very pleased to have provided a small meal during the aperitif. Super recommended structure a stone's throw from the Champs Élysées, 10 minutes walk from George Quinto station, on the Champs Élysées. Quiet neighborhood we will definitely return! Thank you

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Most of the staff were multilingual, making communication in different languages very easy. The hotel has a radio station theme, so my sisters loved taking pictures all over the place. They gave us a free upgrade because of a late checkout, so we had a terrace with a view to the Eiffel tower! And the bed was so confortable we didn’t want to wake up… It was a great experience and everyone that works there deserves a round of applause.

Pros - The hotel is very modern and clean. Our room was cleaned each day on request. The rooms are very good , Spacious with a comfortable bed . Coffee machine provided that was stocked each day as well as fresh water etc . The hotel is also in a good location with most attractions within a 10 minute walk.
Cons - There is currently large scale building work taking place at the rear of the hotel which runs from around 8am to 5pm each day so do not expect peace and quiet . We were unaware of this prior to booking as it was not stated to us . Food at the hotel is not good. Breakfast , there was not a great deal of choice compared to other places I have visited in the past. Minimum amount of fruit, Cereal and the hot choices were also poor. The hot breakfast consisted of scrambled egg, small hot sausages which are basically hot dogs , greasy bacon and soggy sliced potatoes. Getting a simple coffee was also a challenge. The machine is guarded heavier than the Mona Lisa and is roped off so only staff have access . We asked for coffee on a couple of occasions and were forgotten about so we had to remind staff again. If you want to eat in the hotel on an evening well good luck. The hotel is big on events and each night we were there the restaurant was reserved for external parties with limited tables for guests. We managed to have a pizza one night for something quick after a long day sightseeing, The pizza’s were poor no flavour and were not freshly made. My advice is go out and eat. One night we had a cheeseboard which only consisted of three different cheeses and two cooked meats , the hotel had ran out of bread but we were still charged the full price . Room service is a lie , the kitchen closes around 2130pm so that is non existent. WI-FI is terrible , It does not work ! Nothing more to say on that . Gym - I did not use the “gym” but I took a look at it out of curiosity, It’s not a gym there are only a few machines and a few weights so don’t build your hopes up. Staff - Generally quite miserable and not really helpful and did not even show us to our room or take our cases which you would expect from a four star hotel. We complained of noise from another room one night and the staff were quite reluctant to speak to the occupier of the room but eventually did after saying we could not be moved . The noise was ridiculously loud or we would not of complained.
Overall I have been generous giving a three . Paris is beautiful but I would advise staying elsewhere.

Response from Luca Alvano, Guest Services / Front Office at Pley Hotel
Responded Nov 20, 2024
Dear Laura, Dear Elliott, I want to thank you both for the review you have written on Trip Advisor regarding your stay at PLEY Hotel from 10th to 15th of November. We highly value your feed-back and I wanted to thank you for taking the time to write us. I will try to answer methodically to both your comments as they are quite identical. First, I want to thank you very much for all the positive feedback you have given us regarding the level of comfort of the rooms, the cleanliness and the quality of the amenities provided in the room. And more importantly, thank you for noticing the staff dedication at the front desk. Sadly, I understand that on some matters, your expectations have not been met. I am deeply sorry about that, and I will try to give you some insights. Construction noise. You are absolutely right, there is a massive building right behind us that is going under a complete transformation. This is due to take 24 months. As for the noise coming from your neighbors, I also fully understand your frustration and I confirm we got your complaint on our logbook. Front desk team has called your neighbors and also went to their room to make them lower their TV volume. Hopefully, it worked out but I understand the damage was already done. We would have loved to offer you to move to another, but the hotel was fully booked. Please rest assured that I would love the whole environment to be quiet at all time but I am sure that you understand that hoteliers are not yet able to discipline its guest or make the next door construction stop. Breakfast service: We regret that accessing the coffee machine was frustrating for you. It is indeed sensitive and requires careful handling. We will ensure our staff is more present to assist guests, especially during peak hours. Quality of pinsa: I take good note of your feedback although it is the first time we have such a review concerning our pinsa. I would love you to give us a second try so please, let me know the next time you are around, I would be happy to extend a complimentary meal for the two of you. Room Service: We understand your disappointment with the room service experience. We will review this matter with our team to enhance the service and to ensure it always remains smooth and reliable. The team member was checking their watch because they believed you intended to enjoy your Coca-Cola at the bar, which was already closed. This was a misunderstanding, and we apologize for the miscommunication. Regarding the way we handle groups, I understand your point and the perception you have had, we will definitely address this concern to the team as well as we are consistently making efforts to make sure each and every guest are provided with the same level of service. Last, concerning the luggage, I am sorry to inform that we do not have any baggage porter service, and I understand your point because our elevators are quite small. In fact, whenever a front office staff member is available to help bringing the luggage, we are happy to do so but it is not always the case. We are actively working to improve our processes to prevent such situations in the future. Our team sincerely hope you will give us another opportunity to welcome you back and provide an experience that meets your expectations. Wishing you a lovely day, Henri General Manager

I had the pleasure of staying at Le PLEY during my recent trip to Paris, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel’s design is modern and stylish, with a unique music-inspired theme that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was particularly cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long days exploring the city.
One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace, offering breathtaking views of Paris. It was the perfect spot to unwind with a drink in the evening. The breakfast was also excellent, with a variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day.
Le PLEY’s location is another major advantage—it’s conveniently situated in the heart of Paris, close to major attractions and easily accessible by public transportation.
I highly recommend Le PLEY Hotel to anyone visiting Paris, whether for business or leisure. I will definitely return on my next trip!

It is a very beautiful hotel, it smells beautiful, the staff is helpful and everything is beautiful. The first hotel I stayed in. It was my first visit to Garnasa, very close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysées. The rooms are medium in size and clean. The elevator is small in size, but the hotel is very psychologically comfortable, befitting the French procedure.

For the first time in downtown Paris, I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We were greeted by hotel staff who spoke both English and French. We had 2 adjoining rooms for 2 nights at this hotel for a total of about $500 each night. One room had a queen bed and was smaller in size. The other room was bigger and had 2 twin beds pushed together, and a oversized sofa bed chair that was unfolded and made for us before arrival. Each room had its own central air thermostat- unlike the loud A/C units like those in U.S. hotels.
The rooms were clean (no dirty feet) and the decor was clean and modern. We could even see the Eiffel Tower from our window! Starting at around 10pm at night we got to see the Eiffel tower do its sparkling light display. The location was about a 10 minute walk from the subway/Champs elysees, which was doable. It was another 10 minute walk to the Arc de Triomph. A small Carrefour Market is just down the street for some quick necessities. Many dining options are within walking distance too.
The breakfast buffet was among some the best foods we had while Paris. The spread ranged from pan au chocolat, to yogurt, fruit, mini crepes, muffins, and bread with cheese spreads and ham- plus more. Highly recommend paying extra for the breakfast buffet. The servers were really nice and courteous as well.
The only negatives I have about this hotel are that the smaller, Queen room is relatively small so you're sleeping pretty close to the door and can hear when people are in the small hallway. The chair sofa bed was not very comfortable, as expected. Also, the glass shower door needs a better design because water seeps through the bottom of the shower door even when it's closed, resulting in a pool of water on the bathroom floor. (The other room had a tub with an adjustable shower head, which is typical in France). All in all, I would recommend this place!

I appreciated the location, the quietness in my room, the bath/shower and the free water bottles. I had some trouble getting in my room however as there are different lifts and the personnel at reception did not explain it to me. The lifts were also tiny.

Pley hotel junior suite was an interesting stay. The hotel is music themed and decor is lovely. Check in was smooth. The bar staff is awesome! Our suite was incredibly spacious and comfortably fit 3 adults. The biggest issue was the extraordinary odor of cat urine in the beautiful bathroom of our suite. In addition to cat hair strands. If you are allergic to animals, be advised that this hotel allows pets. Our bathroom must've recently housed a cat prior to our stay and the odor remained relentless day in and day out. I voiced my concern to Kevin at the front desk whos cold demeanor all but told me that he could care less. There was no apology or explanation, just a reply of "ok" when I mentioned how terrible the smell in our bathroom was. I recommended the hotel professionally clean that bathroom as cat urine is an odor that isn't easy to just air freshener away. I also found it interesting that the hotel was actively advertising Smash burger directly next door, we went and got food from their advertised recommendation but then were told we couldn't eat it in the lounge area. Also note that the weather outside was in the upper 60's, low 70's but he heat had already been turned on and no fans or AC unit. We were luckily able to sleep with the windows wide open but some evenings that wasn't enough to keep the room temp comfortable and not too hot. On our last evening at the Pley hotel, we returned to find only one bath towel in our bathroom. The hotel then delivered bath robes to dry off with as they had run out of towels. Lol... Overall it was decent stay, quiet hotel with mostly great staff (except for Kevin who could use some customer service training especially when the room is nearly $600/night). Kudos to the exceptional and friendly lobby bar staff!

Dear Christina, I would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review and sharing your experience with us and others. Thank you so much for mentioning my team's attitude. Just to let you know Kevin doesn't work with us anymore. In our hotel, we all work with a passion for hospitality, and for that making our Guests' stay the most enjoyable and memorable as possible is our main goal. As far concerned the AC unfortunately because of the crazy and unpredictable weather we were obliged to turn it off and turn on many times this month but normally from october is quiet cold outside that's why you found the heater on. I am very sorry to hear that the quality of the team’s service didn’t meet your expectations. If you ever feel a certain way about the service don’t ever hesitate to tell us Immediately so that we could resolve the problem or inconvenience as soon as possible. I am going to verify what happened and make sure such a situation will never appear again. Once again, We would like to thank you for pointing this situation out it is definitely going to help us improve our quality. We hope welcome you again for your next trip to Paris and give you the best service possible. Sincerely, Luca A. Front desk manager

Wonderful and attentive reception and a very nice bed in a clean room. The hotel's music-theme wasn't just kept to the lobby and the hallways, but also extended to the room with a small bedside radio playing some nice tunes! Despite the ca 600m walk to popular metro lines, the location is relatively close to the Arc de Triomphe, so very convenient with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, even if you do not wish to use the busy Champs-Élysées.
