First of all the location of the hotel is really great, 1 min away from all the shops in Avenue Montaigne. The breakfast was also good and I believe included in the room prices. However, unfortunately the hotel does not qualify to be a 5 star. the interior perhaps at once was trendy but at present it seems old and a bit shabby. The rooms are nothing special but some things need refurbishing like the ceiling in the bathroom and the bed light which was not working. The service however was disappointing, the hotel restaurant was closed when we were there so no option to eat other than the room service. Also some basic requests were not handled properly like calling a taxi to the train station and overall the service is not at the level you'd expect from a 5*
Nothing good about this hotel except the location. Dirty rooms , over used towels , so much construction without a warning. Although I am ambassador elite with Marriott I felt nothing special. Carpt dirty and bugs and shower is short to say a few
The hotel does not qualify in my humble opinion to 5 star hotel. A/C was not functioning well in the original room and even in the upgraded suite. The corridors and carpet did not look clean. No duty manager was available and no concierge staff to cater to guest needs. The reception did not know basic of tourism in a city like Paris. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND CLOSING THE HOTEL AND TAKEING OUT OF THE MARRIOT GROUP. It is a shame. by the way, i am not exaggerating.
Very friendly staff, even when speaking English. Fantastic location close to all major attractions and a cheap cab from many more. Quiet room and a great view of the Eiffel Tower! Great restaurants reasonable and within two blocks.
The location is great. The rooms are clean and big for Paris but the service is terrible. The staff at the Reception are not friendly. The breakfast is at 32 euros pp but not much choice for vegetarians. No fresh cut fruits too. It is in the Marriott group but very disappointing as a Marriott service. The hotel staff has still not added the Marriott points as they say they have to do it manually!
If you are going on a tour of Paris and need a well-located hotel where you can relax after long walks and sightseeing in the city, this hotel is for you. Beautiful decor, functional rooms, excellent breakfasts and friendly staff.
It was not clear wich room I made a reservation for when booking. I wanted the rooms as before (classic interior) and got the other room in the back. Disappointing. The tv was not working properly in the room I stayed.
To manage expectations, this is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Good for a 3 star; mediocre for 5! Staff is polite and truly trying but apparently they are not provided with necessary tools, training and directions. Hotel Manager cannot be reached by customers even upon their request. Anyway, if you can afford some extra cash, try a true 5 star!
So on my first night the remote is not working, the shower malfunctions and it takes over 30 minutes for someone to come up and assist me. The service was generally slow. The room cleaning was scant and for what I paid it was not worth it at all. Service at the restaurant was also bad. It would seem that they do not care and are under-staffed. It was a disappointment as I have been there before and stayed there with great service. Also watch for all your charges....... A sad experience and I am not sure I will return or recommend this hotel again
Had a great stay at the La Maison. would definitely stay here again, great location, very quiet neighborhood. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The area had quite a few restaurants less than a 5 minute walk. We even walked to the eifel tower one day
