The Hotel, a 5 Star Property, assigned me for a fare over 1000€ per night assigned me a standard room, not clean, usually in part of the building not used, very dirty and also really noisy (above the aircon system of the entire structure). In a corner of my wordrobe there where many hairs... I asked immediately (Friday night check.in after 11.00 pm) to change my room. the night receptionist told me it wasn't possible (fully booked) BUT he reassured me that he was going to let the managers know about my important requests and that he was sure they would take care of me. I never heard back from nobody. When I checked-out the answer was: sorry you slept here in a very busy period and also over the weekend: our director wasn't on duty during this weekend... Unacceptable!

If you are a Marriott Bonvoy member, avoid this place. They do not recognize Bonvoy status at all. There was no Marriott logo to be found at the hotel anywhere. Not outside, not in the lobby, and not even in the room. The staff are also oblivious to any Marriott terms. The Bad: 1. They did not acknowledge my Titanium status at check-in. 2. We were checking in, and our room was not ready until 6pm. This was when many rooms were clearly empty (still being sold on the website). When I asked if it would be possible to check us into one of the available room as Titanium upgrade, the front-desk staff looked completely dumbfounded like she had no clue what I was talking about. 3. When our room was finally ready at 6pm, one of the front desk staff complained about Marriott members asking for late check-out and blaming that as the reason for our room being late. 4. The cleaning staff knock and then immediately enter the room within 2 seconds of knocking. Should they not at least wait a couple moments so we can walk to the door? 5. Not surprisingly, it has been almost 3 weeks and the stay still has not appeared on the Marriott website as a stay. At this point, why are Design hotels even affiliated with Marriott? You can't have the cake and eat it too. Either honor the terms or don't trick Marriott customers into coming to your hotel. I would have chosen a different hotel if I had known that none of the terms would be honored. The Good: 1. The location is good.

We stayed here for 5 nights using my Marriott points. I am a lifetime Titanium Marriott Bonvoy member When we checked in I was billed the usual pre-authoization of $500. The hotel is small, rooms are small, the staff was very nice. As we were checking in a man was arguing with the desk staff about things on his bill be said he didn't purchase. I should have been forewarned. We had one breakfast there, drinks and bar food one night, that was it. Bill total $160.32. I always opt for an e-bill but will never do that again. We verified that this was the total for the stay and headed to the airport. 5 minutes from the hotel I started getting emails and texts from my credit card company (11 of each in total ) with anonymous charges being billed to my account from the hotel totaling $865.25!!!!! I quickly emailed the hotel who responded saying they would check on it. Nothing more from them. I had to call my credit card company from the airport since i couldn't access my account and make sure that i was credited for all those anonymous charges. The charges, by the way, made no sense. They billed me for another pre-authorization of $500 and some random other charges that I made no sense. I would avoid this hotel if I were you

Having booked via Marriott, reviewed the website and ratings - I expected better. Rooms are tired e.g. light switches falling off the wall, every time staff serviced the room they left the door open. Good location but there are better hotels nearby.

Amazing hotel! Super impressive design, comfortable beds with lux linens, great restaurant and bar and a can-do staff that made a 3 day stay there a delight. Special thanks to Darlyn for arranging a memorable tour of Champagne.....Look forward to next visit

I have stayed here many times and the service is consistently good, rooms clean and the breakfast is excellent. A great location. HIghly recommended. (I don't love the decor which is why it loses a star as I find it quite austere and not very cosy - but if Martin Margiela is your thing you will love it!!)

I have never experienced such disrespectful service in a hotel in my life. The only good part of the stay was the house keeping as the room was always clean. When checking in, the hotel asked for the deposit 400 euro that was separate from the payment for the stay. Just to secure our stay and this procedure happens very often all over the world. The lady at the desk told us that we would get the money back once we check out. My husband was the one talking to the lady and I was next to him listening and I heard the conversation too how she told us that we will get the money back. On the day we check out they tell us that we cannot get our money back. No one from the staff could explain us what was going on as their English was poor. We were late and the taxi was waiting for us and charged us extra 20 euro for the wait because of the hotel. The Manager Darlyn promised us that someone would contact us by today. However, nobody has contacted us, we called on the next day, and they would put us on hold and not reply properly. We also have the receipts from the bank that they charged us extra 400. I really hope we will get the money back but until now my husband and I are very disappointed and angry.

The booking system used by the hotel was new and didn't work properly. We were contacted and advised by Email that our reservation would be cancelled if not contacted before midday. When the check-in counter was contacted it was all sorted but two days later we received a repeat warning. It is frustrating when you travel on your holidays having to spend time to sort out the hotel caused mess. Upon arrival, everything was sorted but we discovered later that we were charged for a full breakfast while we used the buffet breakfast except for one day and that the full hotel bill was charged against my credit card upon arrival without our consent. The personnel were friendly and helpful. The hotel as per title was disappointing. The curtains in the room weren't properly hang, the chairs looked like garden chairs, the overall finish was bad, the elevators needed urgently a service. I couldn't locate any service stickers illustrating when the lift was last serviced but the indicating light inside the elevator didn't work and when in service, it felt like an emergency stop when you arrived at the selected floor. We have never stayed at a hotel before, where you have to go up a staircase (8 steps) from the lobby and descend again before arriving at the elevators. Very inconvenient for the guests staying at the hotel. My wife and I looked very closely to be able to find the "design" but really couldn't find it. In general disappointing and certainly compared to our other hotels in France during this trip very poor.

The hotel is very nice but the room I had was terrible because the bathroom has no curtains or anything to prevent the shower water from spilling all over the bathroom. I asked for a room change but no one attended to me, they just said they were full. If you shower, the ENTIRE bathroom becomes a swimming pool so be prepared to wipe the bathroom with towels every time you shower. I complained but nothing happened, no one at Reception was in the mood to help. Absolutely terrible experience in a two nights trip to Paris as I was not prepared nor booked a hotel to be cleaning all bathroom floor after every shower,

Dear Mr.&Mrs.Herrerias, Thank you for choosing La Maison Champs Elysées for your stay in Paris, a resolutely unique design hotel. It is with great sadness that I learn of the experience lived with our team / one of the members of our team. I read this comment with astonishment, as our team generally receives praise from our customers, so I would personally like to offer my sincere apologies for this incident, and assure you that a meeting will be organized to understand what may have developed. The satisfaction of our customers makes us live, and we want to make everyone's stay unforgettable, this obviously goes through the service. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to La Maison and thus make you change your mind about our image. Best regards, Sam Guest Relations Manager
