I travel to Paris frequently and have stayed in a variety of luxury hotels and apartments. I stayed at Hotel Napoleon four times in the last 2 years. On my 3rd visit to Hotel Napoleon (in May), I left an expensive ring in the room and only realized as I was on the plane leaving France. I quickly contacted the hotel and by the time I landed in Italy, housekeeping found the ring. The concierge team worked with me for many iterations to get it back to me in the US through FedEx but FedEx returned the pickup to the hotel after FedEx realized the value (even though all forms had been completed). Again the concierge team (Guillaume, David, and Carlos) rallied to secure the ring until my return in August. The ring was a family heirloom so I have conveyed my gratitude and thanks to the the GM (Claude Rath), the housekeeping team, and the outstanding concierge team. They all went above and beyond their normal duties to resolve my incident.

This Boutique Pension is a jewel located in one of the best locations in Paris. It was my third stay with them and I was not disappointed.
The service is warm and excellent; I really felt welcome. The room, overlooking the Arc de Triomphe, had a very comfortable bed and pillows, as well as a large bathroom with a bathtub, shower and bidet. I loved the luxurious fragrance of the Nuxe products provided.
This is really a pampered Inn. I highly recommend it.

I am a luxury travel advisor and when I book hotels, I look for charm, history, uniqueness, wonderful hospitality and clean rooms.

Hotel Napoleon is just that. Our family stayed at Hotel Napoleon for six nights in January and we had a fabulous stay. The staff is warm and friendly and really took the time to get to know not only my husband and I, but our two daughters. A big shout out to Solomon at the bar. He could not have been friendlier. The morning wait staff in the restaurant was also very attentive and kind. And everyone at the front desk is welcoming and helpful.

We stayed in the family suite which was great for the four of us. Basically, we had a large seating area in our room which connected to another room for our girls. This hotel also works with clients to make sure that families can have connecting rooms. The bathrooms are small, but very clean. And the housekeeping was superb.

The location of Hotel Napoleon is fabulous. The minute you walk out of the hotel you stare directly at the Arc de Triomphe, directly to the right. And the metro is steps from the front door, connecting you to the 1 line, (among many others) which takes you to the heart of Paris (Louvre, Tuileries, Notre Dame, etc). And for the shopping enthusiast, the Champs Elysee is a block away..

I would highly recommend Hotel Napoleon!

The room was a nice size and had a very nice view. The Staff that helped us to our room gave us instructions on how to use the iPad for all the hotel amenities . We had a very large shower and tub with a his and her sink bathroom which also had a bidet . We were in room 301 when you enter this room there is a small hall to the main room with a toilet only on the left. This is where we had the problem. This is a 5 star hotel . I expect it not to stink of urine and I or my husband could not enter that bathroom without gaging. We called the front desk several times before they sent housekeeping which did nothing . It had nothing to do with cleaning it was with plumbing. Then later in the day a gentleman came and place some liquid down the sink drains. That help a little I placed a towel in the sink covering both holes so the stink could not come back into the room. That night the toilet began to over fill with water and again I called the desk they sent someone up. He said they would have to have plumbers look in morning I said that wouldn't do that was our only bathroom . So he went looking for a plunger and came back and temporarily unclog it. It was not fixed the next person is sure to have the same problem and I pity them because it's a lot of money to spend to stay in those conditions . My husband became ill and we had to end our vacation early I have no idea if it was after inhaling all that toxic waste but we left for home and he was put into the hosiptal for septic . Thank goodness we had trip insurance.

Dear G7957TTmichellet, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we deeply regret the issues you encountered during your stay. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the unpleasant situation with the bathroom, and we are truly sorry to hear that this had such a negative impact on your visit. This is certainly not the standard we expect, and we fully understand how frustrating this must have been for you and your husband. We take your feedback seriously and will immediately investigate the plumbing issue in that room to ensure it is properly addressed and does not affect future guests. We are also reviewing our procedures for handling such matters to ensure that problems are resolved more efficiently and with greater care. It is particularly concerning to hear about your husband’s illness, and we hope he has since made a full recovery. Please rest assured that we will be taking the necessary steps to prevent similar issues from arising in the future. We understand that the circumstances led to a premature end to your trip, and we are genuinely sorry for the distress caused. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and discomfort you experienced. We greatly appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our services moving forward. Kind regards, The Hotel Napoleon Team

Family long weekend break at Easter. We had an underwhelming
experience at check in, with the staff more interested in chatting to each other than greeting us and helping us .

The room was quite good, we had a suite set up for 2 adults and a 12 year old, although the sofa bed was uncomfortable, ew did ask for a topper twice but never appeared. The suite was at the rear overlooking the courtyard , very quiet, unless you ere in the bathroom and you could clearly here the conversation through the wall from the room next door. Other issues with the set up, soft drinks provided were only for 2, never 3 drinks of the same on offer, paper cups to use with the coffee machine, just awful and no complimentary snacks or biscuits - remember this was a suite in an a 5 star hotel!

The staff at breakfast were very welcoming and helpful, no menu though if you required cooked eggs, poached ,fried, omelette, why? Also, the scrambled eggs in the buffet, they were made from powdered egg! The pastries and croissants at breakfast, so small, tasteless, not much variety on offer. When we passed a boulangerie we experienced quality croissants and pastries yet a 5* hotel offered poor quality. Why no fresh baguettes at breakfast, very strange bread offering.

The hall porter was very kind and helpful, organising taxis and providing advise when needed, shame the concierge or reception staff were so unhelpful.

Checking out, same issue, over 6 staff on reception, quite rude, unhelpful did not even ask how our stay was? Whilst waiting to return to Eurostar, we had a wait in reception, tables were cluttered and not cleared of dirty crockery, the complimentary water was empty and the complimentary chocolate was being offered to all except us, I had to ask for our daughter to be served - why. Remember over 6 staff loitering around reception not busy. We are a mixed race family from England, I can honesty say , as someone who travels extensively globally on business and vacations, this was appalling passive racial discrimination experienced by us.

For the money, there are far better 4 * star plus hotels in Paris, providing better room facilities, breakfast offering and genuine staff who care ( Hilton, Radisson etc).

No we would not return, and I've also advised my Company not to book thsi hotel for any staff business trips.

The Hotel Napoleon sits in an excellent location just steps away from major Metro lines with taxis passing, too. The hotel is well-staffed, our room was spacious and so comfortable! This is old-Paris elegance with updated attention to the guest experience.

My wife and visited Paris for the weekend to celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary. The hotel is in a fantastic location with great Metro connection to all parts of Paris very close. The hotel staff are warm and welcoming, the rooms are modern but classical too and very comfortable. We had room 503 which was facing the Av de Friendland at the front of the hotel and from our little balcony you could see the top part of the Eiffel Tower at night. The breakfast buffet was varied and constantly refreshed and the waiters were attentive and friendly at all. The day we left we left our luggage for a few hours whilst doing some last min shopping and sightseeing and we came back to the hotel to freshen up and get a drink before they ordered us a taxi to CDG, which turned up on time. All in all a fabulous hotel in a great location with great staff

We really did feel comfortable here. The location is perfect, close to a metro, the Champs Élysées shops and many restaurants. Breakfasts enjoyable. Bed - extremely comfortable, shower good pressure, we had a room with a bath which was large. Quiet, good service, rooms with balconies. Has a semi private outdoor bar seating. Would definitely stay there again - well worth the expense.

We loved Hotel Napoleon! At first we though the superior room was quite small but then we remembered that we are in Europe! This hotel has an excellent location at the Arc de Triomphe. It’s a stones throw from Champs Élysées and heaps of bars and restaurants. It won’t take you long to get your bearings and wander Paris like a pro! Eiffel Tower is about 20min walk and Le Marais is about 15 min on the train. The staff are excellent- friendly but professional. From the concierge and check in staff to the waiters and staff met around the hotel. Very helpful and knowledgeable. We are heading back at the end of the month and have upgraded to the Eiffel room which is enormous and has direct views of the Eiffel Tower. I would also like to mention that we left our passports, cash’s no credit cards in the hotel safe. The co fierce team were incredible to get in contact with us immediately and to try to help us get everything back. They went as far as scanning over all our passports so that we can continue travelling around France and checking in to hotels.
