Behind the history of the hotel, hides a love story....
The love story between a rich Russian businessman, Alexander Pavlovich Kliaguine, and a young french student who first met at a "literature salon" in 1928. It was love at first sight. In order to introduce her to Parisian "high society" at the time, he bought a hotel in the prestigious 8th arrondissement and gave it to her as a wedding present. Still today the hotel belongs to the Kliaguine family.
Today, following a large renovation program, the hotel is proud to announce its 5th star.
With its unique location, just a short walk away from the Champs-Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe, the Hotel Napoleon is one of the most legendary hotels of the city: a fine address to discover and rediscover. Our 52 rooms and 50 Suites are all designed in the Empire style with newly refurbished and modernized colors. A Parisian atmosphere still remains in the Hotel.
The Napoleon includes also a Bar- Restaurant: the Bivouac Cafe, 8 meeting spaces and a fitness room.

Staff was top notch and very helpful. Hotel is beautiful and the location is great. If you walk in one direction you experience the Champs E'lyse'es, then the other direction it local restaurants that are more budget friendly. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT.

We really did feel comfortable here. The location is perfect, close to a metro, the Champs Élysées shops and many restaurants. Breakfasts enjoyable. Bed - extremely comfortable, shower good pressure, we had a room with a bath which was large. Quiet, good service, rooms with balconies. Has a semi private outdoor bar seating. Would definitely stay there again - well worth the expense.

We just returned from a family Christmas trip to Paris and stayed at this hotel. I have traveled exstensively and always stay at upscale properties and this one did not disappoint.The hotel, phyisically is stunning. The intimate feel and gorgeous decor just cannot be beat.
we stayed in a suite that could have been used as an apartment it was so roomy. The bathroom was gorgeous and more than enough for me and a 17 yr old teenage girl! I cannot say enough about the staff, so warm and accommodating from the moment we arrived at 10:30 pm. Great location. just off the Arc de Triomphe and a block or two to Ave Georges V. We did not have one request the did not get obliged. I loved practicing my French with the gentlemen working the bar and by the end of our stay we were great friends. These are such difficult times to be traveling and the staff handled everything with warm smiles. This is a beautiful hotel and I look forward to returning (without the teenagers) ha!

The location is great, however the superior double room is like a shoe box size, although it is a “ 5-star” hotel. The first floor room is super mini with zero view, however the hotel staff will not move you to an upper floor even though you stay here for 5 nights. I would give this zero star if I had a choice.

We loved Hotel Napoleon! At first we though the superior room was quite small but then we remembered that we are in Europe! This hotel has an excellent location at the Arc de Triomphe. It’s a stones throw from Champs Élysées and heaps of bars and restaurants. It won’t take you long to get your bearings and wander Paris like a pro! Eiffel Tower is about 20min walk and Le Marais is about 15 min on the train. The staff are excellent- friendly but professional. From the concierge and check in staff to the waiters and staff met around the hotel. Very helpful and knowledgeable. We are heading back at the end of the month and have upgraded to the Eiffel room which is enormous and has direct views of the Eiffel Tower. I would also like to mention that we left our passports, cash’s no credit cards in the hotel safe. The co fierce team were incredible to get in contact with us immediately and to try to help us get everything back. They went as far as scanning over all our passports so that we can continue travelling around France and checking in to hotels.

Just stayed here for a short break in a Suite room. I did think from the images on the website that the suite would have been a lot larger (not uncommon with images on websites) but it was very nice and comfortable. There was a good, yet simple choice at the buffet breakfast. The location is excellent for discovering much of Paris on foot or via the Metro station about 50 from the front door. I will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future. You felt safe and well looked after by everyone in the team.

We stayed there for our anniversary and they gave us an upgrade for the occasion. The room upgrade gave us a beautiful view of the Eiffel tower.
We were only few steps away from the Arc De Triomphe and the Champs Élysées.
The breakfast buffet had the basic necessities for a good breakfast and the reception was very welcoming and accommodating.
We’ll be back again for sure!

The hotel was beautiful and they gave us a free upgrade due to it being our wedding anniversary. Staff couldn't do enough for us, they were so lovely. The room service breakfast is too overpriced and we had an issue with a blocked toilet and mucky bath jets, but the overall was spectacular. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

Stayed in the Suite Avenue (with 2 young children).
The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is fantastic. A short walk from Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe is within 100m from the hotel. The subway station is also very near the hotel and well-connected to different parts of the city.
The suite is decently sized for European standards, with a spacious bathroom and a separate toilet. There is an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower from the suite.

Love the location (literally steps away from Ave Champ Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe) and the hotel itself, from the our room (a junior suite) to the common areas, were amazing. We adored the hotel's decor and history, and appreciate the wonderful service and warm hospitality shown by all the staff we came into contact with. We had breakfast one of the days, and were pleased that gluten free items were offered, and also liked having coffee and desserts at the terrace at the bar downstairs. Liked the water hose/bidet in the toilets too, thanks for that! Only thing that bothered me was the shower (it was built higher than the bathroom floor), but otherwise all good. Definitely our choice of place to stay again next time in Paris, hopefully it won't get booked out with a massive price spike then lol.
