Behind the history of the hotel, hides a love story....
The love story between a rich Russian businessman, Alexander Pavlovich Kliaguine, and a young french student who first met at a "literature salon" in 1928. It was love at first sight. In order to introduce her to Parisian "high society" at the time, he bought a hotel in the prestigious 8th arrondissement and gave it to her as a wedding present. Still today the hotel belongs to the Kliaguine family.
Today, following a large renovation program, the hotel is proud to announce its 5th star.
With its unique location, just a short walk away from the Champs-Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe, the Hotel Napoleon is one of the most legendary hotels of the city: a fine address to discover and rediscover. Our 52 rooms and 50 Suites are all designed in the Empire style with newly refurbished and modernized colors. A Parisian atmosphere still remains in the Hotel.
The Napoleon includes also a Bar- Restaurant: the Bivouac Cafe, 8 meeting spaces and a fitness room.
Beautiful hotel ideally placed. Just a short walk to the Arc De Triomphe. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, we got a complimentary upgrade on arrival which was lovely. Would definitely return if in Paris again!
Great location, friendly staff, very safe, very quiet and clean. My only complaint was the bed and pillows were way to firm. Over all great hotel perfect location for shopping and seeing all the landmarks.
The hotel is ideally situated very near to the Arc De Triomphe and a metro stop. We had a family suite with connecting rooms and the air-con was a great rest bite for the August heat if Paris. The bar and restaurant offer a good breakfast, snacks and some lovely cocktails.
Overall it was not like a 5 star Hotel I expected it, A part from Hotel Decorations ,Lobby and Location the other things like ( Room , Cleanness , Comfort , Value of Money, was Terrible, The Room had a Bad smell it seemed like the Toilet smelling Coming inside the Room , we Kept the windows open to et some fresh air.
The location is great, however the superior double room is like a shoe box size, although it is a “ 5-star” hotel. The first floor room is super mini with zero view, however the hotel staff will not move you to an upper floor even though you stay here for 5 nights. I would give this zero star if I had a choice.
Fantastic Hotel close to all central attractions. The Imperial Suite is excellent, however, what really makes this place truly unique and special is it’s hotel team - they’re simply brilliant- a big thanks to the breakfast team, housekeeping, reception team and Dexter from the whole family - look forward to seeing you again - keep up the brilliant effort as it really does make a big difference. many thanks
The hotel is in prime Location. You step outside and are instantly 200m from the arc de triomphe with excellent views. There are plenty of restaurants and a metro station nearby. The room was clean and the staff extremely helpful. The only criticism is the lacking a functioning refrigerator. I was told this was not a fault of one unit but a design issue in every room due to a lack of circulation. This was very problematic in searing heat. I would not revisit unless this was fixed.
Beautiful and friendly boutique hotel in an amazing location. It has nice old Europe charm. Small but comfy. Walking distance to main attractions, but quite street. Everything worked and it was nice and clean. Will come back here when visiting Paris again.
Lovely rooms and staff are extremely pleasant. Excellent location, photos don’t quite do it justice for how close it is. F&B very good, but limited in options. A very option for a city break when wanting to see all of the sites
The hotel is very good and a perfect location. Staff are very attentive and always on hand to help. We stayed in a junior suite (601) and had a view of L’Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. Only criticism is that the bar closed early and wasn’t able to order any spirits to our room once it had closed. Also had breakfast in room booked as part of package but this wasn’t made clear on arrival and used the hotel’s restaurant instead.
