We had a family room at the Sofitel, which was two connecting rooms. Each room was so well appointed - they thought of everything! They gave us water every day, the bathroom lighting and the lighting near the full length mirror in the hallway was very bright - most of the time the lighting is too dim in the hotels in which I stay. This lighting was great - the shower was nice and big with a rain shower above and a hand held shower spout. I loved how you could set the room to have night lights, which were blue lighting under the bedside table and in the bathroom. There were so many drawers and shelving for everything we needed to store. There was a table and bench. The staff all spoke English very well and were all very helpful and very attentive to any needs we had. The room was very big and they brought and iron and ironing board up for me. We were able to use a shelf in the mini fridge to keep our water cool. This hotel exceeded my expectations

This is the second time staying at this hotel, the first time was for our 1st wedding anniversary 21yrs ago. Our recent visit with family was beyond amazing mostly due to the friendliness of all the staff who went above and beyond.

Thank you to Alexandra who made us a delicious vegan cake as a surprise. This cake was world class and tasted amazing. Thank you to Tom and Leva from guest relations and Chloe who helped with the booking of the hotel.

The concierge and staff at the reception were just so nice (i am sorry but I forgot their names since I a writing this review many weeks after visiting).

The hotel itself was very clean. The rooms could have been a little more luxurious if anything. Is was nice that mineral water was provided within the room charge.

The location of the hotel is excellent as it is a 5 min walk to Champs Elysees/Arc de Triomphe so there are many restaurants within walking distance.

Thank you once again to everyone at Sofitel for making our holiday a memorable one. God Bless.

We stayed here through Costco travel package. We received a nice welcome upon arrival. Location seemed like it was in a safe area, but was a 30 minute walk to Effiel Tower.

Loved:
• Spoke English, was easy to communicate with all staff
• Breakfast staff was amazing, food was ok, eggs were cold one day, food wasn’t replenished fast enough when empty, coffee requests were slow
• Welcome gift of macaroons were delicious
• Water always replenished
• All staff was amazing! Extremely impressed with service provided.

Recommend improvements:
• Expand breakfast selection and fill empty items faster
• bedding smelled, not sure if duvet was washed or not, seemed like it wasn’t; recommend making sure fresh bedding including duvet

Stayed for 5 days in 2 junior suites with elderly parent. Staff could not have been nicer. Concierge Carlos, doorman Michel, reception staff Anastasia and Nicolas and barman (I think Francois) all went out of their way to be helpful and gracious -- "Why use an app if you can get personal service with a smile?" was Carlos' question when I couldn't complete an online ticket purchase to Musee d'Orsay. Rooms are modern and comfortable, with climb in bathtubs that aren't for the faint hearted or unathletic and roomy showers with rain and handheld fixtures. Interestingly, no bidet. Must be out of fashion in France. Bed is super comfortable, lots of closet space; complimentary coffee, tea and Evian. Hermes toiletries. Only peculiarity is that for such a high-end hotel (it's pretty pricey, especially over the holidays), it has a very casual restaurant. No tablecloths. No dress code. Pretty limited menu. But the simple breakfast in the bar (breads, coffee/tea, juice) is fine and, given the location of the hotel, reasonable @ 18 euro per person. And the location of the hotel is, of course, one of the key reasons for staying: it's a 5 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees (12 minutes if you're with an elderly parent). Because taxis in Paris are plentiful and most trips to the main sights were less than 10 euros, the transit strike wasn't much of a problem.

This was a place to stay that was a great unknown to us. We booked it based on reviews by others and were quite pleasantly surprised and impressed with how well we were treated. The experience I think also galvanized in my mind the concept that those who would complain about this place are seldom satisfied with anything. From the time we arrived, we were treated like royalty (we certainly aren’t that). The accommodations were beyond comfortable. They were fantastic. There is a breakfast available downstairs in the mornings that is very nice but not included in the price of your booking. What really makes this place is the people. From Diego, the bellman to the front desk staff, all were helpful in directing us to things we might not want to miss around the city. Most particularly, the concierge, Gerald was a consummate gentleman. He helped book transportation for us, asked how everything was and corrected my speaking errors in French politely. He was recently awarded the golden keys — a recognition of excellence. You can walk to many places of interest from here if you are so inclined. Le Tour Eiffel is about 1.7 miles. Le Louvre about 3 miles and l’arc de triomphe about a half mile. I would most definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Sofitel Arc de triomphe in late March. My rating is 11/10. The experience was absolutely fantastic top to bottom. First, the hotel was in a great location close to the Arc, Champs Elysees, and the Eiffel Tower. It was modern and clean with comfy beds. They made sure to emphasize where we could go safely because of the Paris riots and made us feel incredibly safe.

Every single member of the hotel and restaurant staff was incredibly professional and courteous and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. They were more than happy to converse in English when we struggled with basic French.

One particular individual stands out, concierge Gerald Cocher Martin. We started conversing a few weeks before our arrival via email and phone. Gerald essentially planned most of our trip, arranged transportation, purchased museum tickets and passes as well. His recommendations on restaurants and attractions were spot on. I’ve never met a concierge who absolutely went out of his way to make our visit amazing. He is incredibly kind and takes extreme pride in providing unmatchedservice. In fact, our train to Paris was thrown off by the national strike and protests and he organized last minute hotel reservations.

For a family that travels routinely, this level of service was unparalleled. If planning a trip to Paris, I cannot recommend the Sofitel Arc de Triomphe enough!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel and can’t say enough good things about it. Our bed was heavenly. The location perfect. The attention to detail astonishing. We appreciated being handed cold water every time we walked into the hotel after a long day walking about in Paris. Everyone on staff was unbelievably helpful and friendly (in a genuine way; not in a superficial annoying way). We really enjoyed just conversing with hotel staff and getting to know them. Most of all, Gerald, the concierge, was the best concierge I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. His recommendations were spot-on and his ability to secure reservations for us at top restaurants at the last minute speaks to his stellar reputation among Paris’ best dining establishments. Lastly, we ordered room service for breakfast before heading to the airport and the omelette were delicious, and the baguettes and croissants were as fresh and tasty as the ones we bought on Rue Cler! We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Paris. Bravo, Sofitel team! Thank you so much for making our stay so special.

Stayed 3 nights and from the minute we stepped out of the taxi we felt like we were the most important people on Paris. Staff were incredible! Fabulous front desk staff, concierge Diego was amazing! Breakfast was included with our package the selection was bountiful delicious and nutritious. Room was so clean, luxurious high tech, and well appointed. Each night we asked for a bucket of ice and it was brought “right away-with Pleasure”. Thank you for making our short time in Paris so wonderful! We could booked 2 rooms were on the same floor. Each room had balcony and we could even see the Eiffel Tower from one of our rooms! 5 stars for sure!
