This was one of the few relatively affordable hotels available for a five-night stay in November. Staff were uniformly professional and efficient. Checking in and checking out was effortless. The breakfast area was kept very clean and well laid out. The elevator is compact, but I never had occasion to share it with others. I preferred taking the stairs anyway. I stayed in a spacious Superior Room with One Double Bed on the 4th floor. I had requested a quiet room away from the elevator. Mine faced the rear of the building, just above the roof of the breakfast room. I never heard any traffic noise -- and noise from other guests was minimal. The bed was quite comfortable, and the duvet kept me so warm that I didn't need to run the heat overnight. The toilet is in its own small compact space separate from the bathroom. I would have preferred a regular shower head, but I was able to make due with the handheld device without spraying too much water everywhere. Location is good -- it's just a ten minute walk north of the Arc de Triomphe, where one can catch Line 1 to the Louvre and other Right Bank sights. Bus lines (always worth learning when visiting the city) connect you to other parts of the city efficiently and affordably.…
If Paris is the place to be! This hotel (mercure Arc de Triomphe) is the place NOT to be, NOT to stay AT! Ever seen such a place with NO services! NO courtesy! NO style! And NO elegance! Shame on the team on its management!
The staff were very helpful during the checking in and out process and looking after our bags before/after checkout. This meant we could still explore! Our room was facing the road but of a night time we couldn’t hear a thing, which was a nice bonus. The location was great just moments walk from the arc de triomphe. Would recommend!
A short travel to Paris to take part to the SITL. Kind reception, good location, very quiet room, wide range of products on the breakfast. Everything was right as usual. One of my best choice in Paris.
The location of this hotel is perfect, couple minutes walk to the Arc De Triomphe and we managed to walk to the Eiffel Tower in around 30 minutes. There are cafes around but we struggled to find restaurants around. The hotel staff were friendly and breakfast was just enough. Only down side was we couldn't keep a late check out room and the view from our room on level 3 was unpleasant but would stay here again
Muriel the Manager was flawless, always smiling and accomodating, We were a Family of 4, and was greeted both by the receptionist and Manager. They found solutions to keep us together, despite the difficulty in finding available rooms. In times like this, despite of COVID breakfast was well prepared, Highly professional. Thanks Muriel
This hotel is one of the best situated hotels in Paris unless you pay a fortune, brilliant to explore Paris surrounded by good value cafes, bars, and restaurants in this area, the nearest literally across the road as well as a supermarket, and patisserie, and even sandwich shop a stones throw away, the hotel was well appointed, clean and surprisingly quiet considering location, the only small criticism was the breakfast. the food was good, but they seem to forget to replenish so simply no food at certain times.
We arrived and they couldn't find our booking, the host was terribly rude, than the manager arrived being rude as well, and when they sorted everything they told me to calm down! Then I slipped in the bathroom floor because there was no carpets and no curtains , hitting the big glass door by just touching it very gently with a bottle of perfume, injuring myself! I went to notify the staff straight away and they made me also feel guilty, telling me that very likely the insurance won't cover this damage! Ridiculous! I was there in the hotel, they had all my contacts, but they called my employer who paid for my hotel telling him I broke the door and embarrass me with him, when I wanted to sort any issue by myself as a professional worker reliable for my own actions! I e-mailed them after few days asking them for any new related to this accident and they never replied to me, making my stay in Paris and few days after that terrible! They still haven't replied! The hostess couldn't speak English and I had to write down things on a translator!…
This was our second stay in Paris at a Mercure Hotel, and the 1st one at this location. Close access to metro, taxi station and convenience of a great bakery and a supermarket. 5-7 minute walk to the Arc de triomphe and the popular The Avenue des Champs-Elysée. An extremely clean facility with very professional, pleasant, and hospitable staff. To make the long story short, we had to get out of our reservations with another hotel due to false advertisement and needed to get a place to stay, literally at the last minute. Monsieur Laurent, was the kind gentleman at the front desk at Mercure who patiently and kindly helped us with our reservation and got us into the last available suite they had and took a great care of us. From that point on, every staff member from housekeeping to the dining area as well as the other front desk staff at various shifts, followed suite with genuine kindness, hospitality and care. They literally saved our trip from turning into a disaster because of our original travel package hotel reservation! The room was very clean, extremely comfortable bed and pullout sofa, perfect temperature with a very comfortable shower system. The balcony was the cherry on the cake; we had the view of the streets and rooftops of Paris, just like what you see in the movies. Quiet and peaceful, not noisy. The breakfast area was extremely clean and the service was superb. The breakfast line up was very well rounded with fresh breads, croissants, variety cheeses, juices, coffees, and of course eggs, bacon, and sausage as well as variety of cold cuts, fruits and jams; everything was always fresh with the best presentation. Safe area with a ton of places to shop. My family and I will most definitely stay at this location again and highly recommend it to all.…
Nothing to highlight. Late checkout was asked but it was not ceded. My platinum card from accor was not considered to receive this late checkout. Location is good and breakfast is ok. Only should enhance the services.
