We stayed total 4 nights and very pleased with our experience. This was our first time in Europe and big city like Paris. The room was small as compared to the standard rooms in the US but that is how in Paris. Our family of four - 2 adults + teenager + 9 year boy, the room was just sufficient. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Metro station Bonne Nouvelle and about 10 minutes from Gerd du Nord. You can easily walk to Galeries Lafayette. There are few restaurants around and grocery store next to the hotel. The staff was patient and very helpful. By the time we finished our check in the luggage was already in our room. We visited Rome in between but left our luggage at the hotel. when we returned it was already in our new room. We didn't try the breakfast but they had good spread. Overall great hotel!

Nothing special about this hotel but adequate enough for 3 stars in my opinion. Just the basics in terms of amenities. Tiny lobby and very tiny elevator. Location is ok, access to restaurants and shops. 30 min walk to the Louvre.

First the hotel room was very clean but it was the size of a closet. The bed was two twins pushed together and they kept separating. The hotel was overall quiet and on a quiet street. However, the desk staff is rude and unhelpful. I was trying to ask about how to get to the Eiffel Tower ect and absolutely no help or care. It also a bit of a walk to anything. Personally would not recommend unless you have no other options.

I was very pleased with this hotel. I loved the location, on a narrow, quiet, one way, cobblestone, mostly residential street, which made for peaceful sleep, in a less touristy section of Paris. The street is off a busier, one way street with a great selection of restaurants, take out places, coffee shops, and markets, and about a five minute walk to a main drag with an ATM, a Metro stop, and countless restaurants and shops. I loved that at the end of a busy, exhausting day exploring Paris we could come back to our friendly, lively neighborhood, have a really good, affordable dinner, and walk safely back to the hotel in a matter of moments, to be greeted by staff at the front desk whatever the time. The junior suite was clean and spacious with a large sofa. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a large bathtub/shower. The staff was friendly and helpful, and speaks multiple languages. Breakfast was good - eggs, bacon, sausage, meats, cheeses, yogurt, and pastries. The junior suite is perfect if you’re traveling with someone other than your spouse/romantic partner because it has lots of space, plenty of clothes storage, the sofa, desk, can turn king bed into two twins, all for the price of what would be a shoebox in a more touristy section of the city. There are also clean, modern men and ladies rooms in the lower level, if needed, and a computer and printer for guest use. I would definitely return and recommend.

There are hotels and there are boutique hotels. And what sets them apart is not their size but rather the care and attention taken by the host to make your experience something special, something memorable, something different. We stayed at the HWO overnight on our road trip via Paris with our family of 5 kids. Vincent the host made us feel very welcome and helped us chose rooms perfect for our needs. The rooms are not large but they are each individually designed and they function very well considering their size. We had 4 children in one room with a double bed and 2 pull out couches and another double room with a baby cot. The beds are yummy and the linen was crisp. The lobby is beautiful. Once again, not very big but beautifully theme designed with a glass roof allowing in light to pour over the chandelier. We didn't take breakfast. Step out of the hotel onto the cobblestone alleyway and find yourself right in the middle of Paris with sights and shopping within walking distance, not to mention the ample street side cafes! You must meet Vincent the host. He makes you feel like he is inviting you into his home. We will be back!
