Spent the weekend in Paris with my teenage daughter. We stayed in Room 12 on the ground floor. Reception area was quirky and delightful, good choice for breakfast. Bedroom was uncluttered and comfortable with great shower in the en-suite. Location is really peaceful but close to metro and bus and plenty shops and restaurants nearby. The staff at the hotel was really wonderful. They were very welcoming and kind, nothing was too much trouble and lots of thoughtful touches like grabbing an umbrella to escort us into our taxi in the rain! I would 100% recommend and stay here again without a moments hesitation. These guys could give masterclasses on what great customer service looks likes!

Not 4* hotel at all. Not so convenient to central. Would suggest to live near metro 9. St 5/6. NO KETTLE OR TEA coffee facility in the room. Clean but very small room. Staff is nice but not helpful at all when we asked for cab. Please book taxi to airport outside hotel. Just on ride road you can find the taxis. He charged us 41£ as standard. But hotel lady told us it’s 60£ if we book through them. Please be aware of lady or guys who try to sell u the tickets. Don’t buy anything from them. Better to go to service desk at train station.

Response from Windsor Opéra, Propriétaire at Hotel Windsor Opera
Responded Dec 5, 2023
Dear guest, We are booking cabs all day long, rates being exactly the same if you catch a taxi in the street, no commision due for the hotel staff. During rush time or when it is raining, reception may have difficulties to find taxis, so they could offer an alternative with private companies that are a little more expensive. In order to avoid that, we always put a note in the rooms 48 hours prior to departure in order to suggest the guests to be aware of the rush time in Paris, and consequently to carefully book their transportation in advance. We have absolutely no technical possibility and no advantage "to sell train tickets", we offently assist clients to book their ticket, but we do not have the possibility to buy them instead of customers since ticket and way of payment are nominative.

Perfect stay in Paris. Stayed in a junior suite with one double bed and 2 single pull out beds for the kids. Everything was immaculate, bathroom and bedding spotless. Staff at the hotel helpful and friendly. Great location, around 15 min walk to Montmartre/ Sacre Coeur and 15 min walk in the other direction towards the river- Louvre and Notre dame. 3 minute walk to different metro stations. On a quiet side street so no street noise at night, slept all night with no disturbance. Yet round the corner, easy reach of multiple cafes/ restaurants etc. Had breakfast on 2 mornings- 16 euro adult/ 8 euro kids, plenty of fresh bread, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast, bacon/ sausage/ scrambled egg. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

My daughters and I stayed here for the last few days of 2022. The staff was unbelievably kind and welcoming. If asked they were more than happy to help us with suggestions. Our room was nicely sized, spotless and each day we returned with it looking much better than we left it. The location to the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est train stations as well as the Metro was quite handy. The street is very quiet and you might miss is it if you weren't looking for it which I think added to its charm. I would stay here again.

I can really recommend this accommodation. It's like stepping into another world. The staff are wonderfully nice and did everything for us to make the stay good. Well-kept, fresh and unique style. If you want to get away from the big hotels and get a more friendly and personal treatment, this is the right hotel.

We stayed 2 nights and we will return for sure! Great location, few steps from metro, excellent breakfast. Room very clean and big enough for 4. The owner is fantastic…it seems to be in a B&B with the facilities of an hotel and he’s absolutely nice and kind answering to every question or need.

Hidden gem in a small and quiet street within a busy area. 13 minutes walk from Gare du Nord, several shopping and restaurant options around the corner. The hotel is small, plain and cosy. The rooms are charming and clean. The manager and his staff are extraordinarily polite and helpful (even to Germans, not something obvious in Paris). I would certainly come again.
