PROS I want to thank the hotel for the very pleasent stay. They had a great costumer service. I want to highly appreciate : -the guy that helped open elevator door and handle suitcases. - Kimberly - she was very nice and tried to help us as much as possible due to the situation we had back at home. We took another 2 nights there. She had an impaccable english and a very good service. We had to leave early in the morning, so she wrote a note that they will pack us a small breakfest to go. -the cleaning service - it was very clean and tidy The hotel staff is amazing. We would definetly come back and reccommend. Location is perfect, near opera garnier and tons of cafe's and supermarkets are nearby. Walking distance to tulleries garden and the Luvre CONS Mainly technical: -need to leave the key at the reception everytime we want to go out (not a very private request) - elevator is small (old building) -air con was so-so and had several malfunctions during the night (which got me awake by the heat)

This hotel is in a perfect location if you wish to walk around the city. The area is quite nice day and night with many restaurants nearby. Choose a floor away from the ground floor as the metro runs underneath. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are quite nice.

Lovely hotel, felt small and personal and the staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive. Michele particularly gave us lots of advice and recommendations and alway had a smile for us. Room was spacious and light, bathroom nice and beds comfortable. Overall very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast wasn't anything to write home about but it was fine.

Our family of five spent five nights at the Hotel Golden Tulip Opera de Noailles - with two rooms with breakfast included. The staff were friendly and helpful from beginning to end. We had first floor rooms with a small terrace - cozy, but perfect, since we spent most of the day out and about. The breakfast was simple, but delicious. We could hear the metro, but it didn't disturb anyone's sleep - if anything, it was a small reminder that we were in the heart of Paris. The location is tucked away from the center of most tourist activity, but it was an easy walk to two different Metro lines and only a 10-15 minute walk to the Louvre. We like that there seemed to be a variety of guests - business, vacation, etc from all parts of the Europe and the world. The electic and modern design was fun too. I think the only main drawback for our family is that most restaurants we choose to try were a Metro ride away from the hotel.

Great lication, art- filled lobby, comfortable albeit small rooms. Ours on the top floor even had a terrace!: Ample breakfast with delish croissants and decent coffee. Lovely staff, with exceptional help from Bastien at the reception.

We arrived at 01.00 am at the hotel and we were greeted very unkindly by the receptionist. The level of arrogance and the way he treated my wife is absolutely unacceptable and totally shocking. I would say this is by far the most unprofessional staff I have ever experienced following 20 years of travelling. Even though the manager kindly apologized the day after, there is no way I would recommend this place to anybody due to overall experience...

This is a great hotel to stay at. The property is very well maintained. The lobby and common areas are great and the artwork is beautiful. The service at hotel is great. The room was very clean and comfortable. We booked a smaller room, and it was still great. The main reason for 4 stars out of 5 is the shower. There was no shower head in my bathroom, it was just a hand shower wash. It was very difficult to shower. However, overall the bathroom and hotel are great. The key system is a little strange where you leave key at front desk each time you come and go. Also, there were other reviews about subway noise and vibrations. We had room on higher floor, but at breakfast time on main level you could really feel the vibrations from metro. I will end on a positive note (because it really is a great hotel) - the breakfast was incredibly good and large selection. Overall, a wonderful stay.

I was in room 103. Well, I could only sleep from almost 1 to 6 am. The metro operates under or near the hotel and I could feel the vibration making It near imposible to sleep. After 1 full hour trying to sleep without any success I complained to recepción and asked to be moved to the top floors hoping that there will be less or no vibration. They told me that there were no available rooms and gave no alternative other than waiting for the metro to close, so I had to wait for the metro to close to finally fall asleep. At 6 when the metro reopenened I woke up not being able to fall sleep again. Al other things were mostly ok but they don´t compensate for the lack of sleep. I went on business and I will tell the agency to never again book this hotel if it can be avoided
