What a FABULOUS hotel! This was exceptionally beautiful from the outside to the inside. As you go in, you simply step back in time to gorgeous furnishings with a fire place blazing, a beautifully period styled champagne bar (where you also can have breakfast). We were mesmerised walking around the hotel and found it extremely romantic and quintessentially Parisian. The reception team and concierge were super friendly, welcoming, full of knowledge and a great sense of huour we really enjoyed chatting to them. The Louis Vuitton lift is an experience, it is only really made for 2 people max but Instagram worthy nonetheless. The room was typically bijou and small like all continental hotel rooms (please note that if you need lots of space you might want to either upgrade or choose a hotel known for large rooms) our room was beautifully decorated with luxury linens, super soft mattress fluffy white towels, great amenities, little cookies left by your bed and much more. We slept like babies on that amazing bed. Special shout out to the concierge team, who managed to get us in the fully booked Paul Chène restaurant (always packed with Parisians which is a good thing) and had an awesome meal there. Many other restaurants in the vicinity to choose from. Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumph. We would book again in a heartbeat!

As a Bonvoy member I chose this hotel based on location and good reviews. I should have looked closer. The good: location, clean, friendly front desk, good internet. The bad: very cramped room and bathroom, breakfast not included and was expensive for what you got, no daytime restaurant, limited room service menu. If you read reviews carefully note “historic” and “boutique” which is code for small and cramped. As a business traveler I didn’t have adequate space for suitcase or hanging clothes, no iron, the bathroom was so small that it was almost unusable. If you are a tiny person or not care about location then you’ll love it.

Dear Jason T, We appreciate your loyalty to Marriott and were pleased to welcome you to Le Dokhan's for your recent business trip to Paris. We would like to thank you as well for taking the time to share your experience on Tripadvisor. We are sorry to read that your experience with us did not fully meet your expectations. Le Dokhan's is a very Parisian hotel, which gets its "boutique" designation from its limited number of rooms and Suites (45). Our guests also often mention that they feel like they are staying in a private home, which they usually enjoy. We do regret that the complimentary room upgrade that was offered to you to an Executive room (28 sq meters) did not have the expected effect to positively surprise you. Our guests normally enjoy our largest room type before our Suites. We would like to remind you that all the necessary information concerning our different room types including their size as well as concerning the different services offered within the hotel are mentionned on our website. Our dedicated team remains available to reply to any question that you may not find online, either by phone or directly via your Marriott Bonvoy plateform. We do not offer a daytime restaurant indeed, but it is not a service that we advertise. Our room service is available 24 hours a day. It is a limited offer ineed, as most of our guests prefer to enjoy the French restaurants around the hotel or to experience our Champagne Bar - first Champagne Bar of Paris. We would like to inform you that a steamer is available in the closet of every room. Irons and boards are not placed in the rooms to offer more space to our guests, but they are available upon request. We understand your disappointment, which does not reflect the experience that we wish to offer to our guests, nor the usual feeback that we get from them. We would like to thank you for underlining the positive aspects of your stay with us and will relay your kind words to our front desk team. The entire team joins me in wishing you a wonderful end of year. Sincerely,

From check-in right through our 4-night stay, we had a wonderful time here. Located in a convenient yet somewhat quieter part of Paris, we were very pleased with everything about Le Dokhan's. The staff were very friendly and most helpful with restaurant recommendations and any other needs and requests we had. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, the staff surprised us with some personal touches and treats in our room. Very much appreciated and unexpected! Our room, although very small, (but that is likely the case with most hotels in older historic buildings throughout Paris), was very comfortable and we had a large balcony that allowed us to enjoy the views of the neighbourhood. The bed and bedding were also most comfortable and the Sothy's amenities in the bathroom were also very nice! The original and unique Louis Vuitton steamer trunk converted into an elevator was really cool too! Le Dokhan's is located within walking distance of most major sites and also near many Metro stations. Fantastic, helpful and friendly staff throughout every department in the hotel! We would definitely return here on any future trip to Paris and would also recommend this hotel to friends/family/co-workers.

Le Dokhan's location is excellent which is why I chose to stay there during the short busines trip I made to Paris but the hotel was disappointing. The interior needs renovation. The room was small and extremely cramped. The closet is as good as non existent in the room. The bathroom, while somewhat renovated, is very small with barely enough room to maneuver to do certain things. The room smelled as if it hasn't been aired for a long time. The bed was comfortable. Front desk personnel were helpful and courteous. The breakfast, provided free since I'm a titanium Marriott member was good. Beyond that, the hotel and stay was disappointing. The location is excellent but based on this stay I cannot recommend the hotel.

My husband and i had the pleasure to stay at this amazing hotel for 5 nights early September We had changed our hotel a few weeks prior as the reviews for Le Dokhan's had swayed us, best decision we could have made, it was our Wedding Anniversary and a Special birthday trip for my husband My husband travels for work and stays in many hotels but Le Dokhans's stands out for Customer service above and beyond expectations all of the staff we met where outstanding ( i myself have a long history in the hospitality trade) The hotel is a beautiful unique boutique hotel and the LV lift is spectacular The champagne bar is so beautiful you feel taken back in time in such a rare setting, this is also where breakfast is served, the breakfast is lovely and very well presented. we have stayed in Paris several times before but this is far the best area, located in the 16th with many great restaurants and bars on the doorstep, also close to ever line on the metro in the middle of three stops If you are looking for a luxury Hotel with the best customer care and a very special experience look no further when we return to Paris we will only stay at Le Dokhan's

What a fantastic (Marriott) property . Kinda stumbled on this place when looking to stay on points . I was just shy of the Marriott on the Champs Élysée Could not be any happier that I was just shy having the points Pros: The staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping just really great European service. I want to really shout out to the small but fantastic bar/ lounge staff. I want to single out the older gentleman that does the breakfast service and the younger gentleman that does the the evening cocktail service. Both just outstanding in the jobs they did . Just outstanding!!Great wine and champagne offers . Location: just about a 4-5 min walk from three Metro stations . All diff lines . But as you may know the Metro can get you anyplace . For some reason this hotel is uphill in from all directions . Haha! About 8 minutes from the Trocadéro and prob the best view of the Eiffel Tower. There is a really easy do it yourself laundry right across the street . I normally send my stuff out when I’m working for uniforms etc but that is always costly. With my wife and I for 10 days. It took about 1.5 hours and I just ordered breakfast. Took the laundry over. And then came back . Easy stuff 10euro. And done A small grocery store ( prob large for Paris ) about 300 ‘ away for some room wine and snacks . The rooms are European small for us Americans but really well fitted out with a love seat and two chairs. Kinda tight but pull open the drapes and my room had a nice door to open and a tiniest of balcony’s Nice to let fresh air in .I LOVED THE ROOM ! The AC in the rooms works amazingly well for Paris. Small refrigerator as well as a safe in the room The refrigerator has some items to buy; beer wine other stuff. ( more on this later ). Again the shower is European small . Wife appreciated the hair dryer. Really close to some amazing food NOT located at the Trocadéro. Mexico and Victor Hugo plaza are really close. Maybe the coolest “harry Potter “ elevator i’ve ever jumped in. Crazy cool ! Cons: and I’m not going g to give them 4 stars as all the other aforementioned positives outweigh -except one . One really minor issue I found in this day and age is the lack of any USB plugs and power plugs. This was a bit of a problem with just one power adapter. I would recommend a EU power strip with at least a 3’ cable on it as all the power outlets are on the baseboard. I would have installed some sort of universal desk top power ports if I was management. I actually had to use the hot water pot on the floor as the cord was so short and could not get it into the hairdryer outlet in the bathroom. The other is a little bigger in my view . I travel-A LOT. Allmost exclusive to Marriott properties. Usually , when they put a small bottle of wine on the credenza WITHOUT A PRICE LIST , it is usually complimentary. Not this one , 25 euro for a really crappy bottle of wine . 6 free days on points I’m not gonna bitch too much but should have a price list . I go around the world 4 times a year and know the drill. Other than that, this is going to be my go to property in Paris from here on out. Well done staff! Sent from my iPhone

I was traveling with my 11 year old granddaughter for a special trip to Paris. The Staff was helpful. Our Room was comfortable. Location was close to Eiffel Tower and provided easy access to city transportation. However, others have suggested other locations as being closer to more areas. Breakfast is not included but we ordered the bread basket a couple times for our room and it was lovely. There is a grocery store nearby and several lovely restaurants. We also found local Parisians friendly and helpful. We speak no French.

Okay. It isa small hotel which is nice. I can’t deny the location is very good. It is central to all of the things you will want to do in Paris. The restaurants within walking distance are amazing. We ate at Ozio, located just down the street from the hotel on our last night and it was incredible. I would have eaten there several times had i eaten there first. Absolutely fabulous. The hotel is beautiful on the outside and it is quaint and a bit historic on the inside. I felt very safe there. There is no opportunity for food other than over priced champagne and tiny charcuterie only during short time during evening hours or coffee and toast in the morning which apparently you aren’t able to bring to your room. ( i didn’t experience this personally but my husband went down in an attempt to bring coffee up to me one morning and he over heard them telling another guest they couldn’t bring the dishes up to their room) Bed had decent linens but the king was two twins very flat mattress. Not comfy. We were greeted as we entered and left the hotel on the daily but there was very little they could do for us as they didn’t offer anything at the hotel. It was kept very neat and clean. Our room was cleaned daily. I stayed at a marriott hotel just days before for much less money and it was much more welcoming, just as clean, had food option, in a good location and the concierge was very helpful. I would never stay at this hotel again. The price per night and the five star rating had my expectations much higher. I was disappointed and looked forward to leaving, unfortunately.

Dear Ivys52, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent experience at Le Dokhan's, We ra epleased t learn that our location and size pleased you but are very concerned about the commets regarding the rest of your stay. Our Champagne bar is the 1st Champagne Bar Paris ever had with over 200 different Champagnes from very good French Houses, whether known or not, and their quality is therefore shown by their prices. I will however beg to differ for the overpriced as you do need to concider the time and expertise our Sommelier have put into creating this selection as well as the expertise of service to you. Our Hotel also do nt cliam to ave a restaurant, our facilities are clearly explained and are to the number of 3: Breakfast service, Room Service and Champagne Bar. I am glad our Reception team was welcoming towards you, and I had hopes you would have question them as per our different services available as our team include a Golden Key head concierge that offers all services you could possibly imagine, as well as access to our Gym and any Restaurant recommendations and reservations you may need. Indeed Le Dokhan's is not like a regular Marriott Hotel, we do not claim to be, which is why we are a Tribute Portfolio, we are unique, full of charm and character. Our 5 Stars rating do comply is our rating and our services, which I hope you will have a chance of experiencing to its fullest next time, We remain available for any discussion, as none of these were shared with us during your stay, Warm Regards, Livia Ricordel Front Office Manager

Just arrived in Paris and very disappointed with the room, 305. It is supposed to be a Deluxe room, but not by any standard I have heard of. I cannot use the toilet and close the door it is so small. The closet cannot fit half our items and there is nothing they will do about this. I expect more from a Marriott Bonvoy Hotel. We will not stay here again and are looking for other locations.

Dear jamesgQ740GL, Thank you for sharing your experience from Le Dokhan's whilst being there, We are sorry to hear that our room 305 does not meet your standards, this is one of our largest rooms with the best bathroom layout allowing you 2 windows and small balconies. I can guarantee you that we are withing Paris' stndards in terms of sizing of our bedrooms, we are sorry these are not the same as in the USA. As much as we wish we could help in accommodating the rest of your clothes, we unfortunately do not have additional closet or set of drawers to be added in rooms upon requests, We are more than happy to provide you with any help you may need should yu reach out to us directly and not via Social media. Our teams are available at any time, just like the Hotel Manager and myself, and have inquired about your stay's satisfaction this morning upon breakfast, you however seemed quite happy with it at the time.
