Le Dokhan's, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is celebrated for its elegant French design and sophisticated atmosphere, which includes distinctive touches like a Louis Vuitton elevator. Guests appreciate the prime location near metro stations and tourist attractions, as well as the commendable cleanliness standards. While the rooms are admired for their beauty and comfort, they are noted to be somewhat compact. Despite mixed reviews about the service and value—with some concerns over high costs and inconsistent staff attentiveness—many visitors enjoy the hotel's unique amenities and overall charm.

Le Dokhans is a lovely, small, quiet hotel with kind staff and uniquely appointed rooms. It is equidistant between Trocadero and Victor Hugo, making it an excellent location for tourists and business travelers alike. My dog joined me halfway through my stay and they were extremely accommodating, providing a bed and food/water bowls in the room and allowing him to sit in the breakfast room with me. Ana Karina and Joana were lovely and hospitable, as were the entire front office staff, providing recommendations and assisting whenever possible. The rooms are well appointed but are the typical European hotel size, however they do have some connecting rooms for families. This is a great place if you’re looking for accommodations in the Marriott family of hotels and something a bit more authentic/bespoke than the larger chain hotels closer to Champs-Elysees. I highly recommend it!

We adored every part of our 5 days here during the early days of the Olympics. The staff were charming and helpful - with callouts to Richard and Christine - and more I could mention from the front desk team to the restaurant colleagues. We enjoyed the omelet and pastry for breakfast with and also treats and champagne at night. The location was quite central with 2 nearby metro stops - we could get to nearly anywhere in 20 mins. Victor restaurant is walkable and we thought the best meal in the neighborhood. The rooms are ornate and reasonably spacious for Paris. Our family loved it and look forward to returning!

What a gem of a hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful historic building and more residential section of Paris (although plenty of us tourists still manage to find it). The hotel is a short walk to several attractions (monuments, museums), as well as the Trocadéro metro station to easily explore other areas.

Our room was beautifully appointed and I loved the combination of blues and purples. Every employee I met was friendly, and I especially want to call out the Champagne sommelier. He made a blind tasting fun and educational, and he took the time to chat with us beyond the superficial. Also, what a contrast from the petty snob grocery store wine clerk, who literally curled his lips in disdain when I told him that I didn’t want to spend more than €25 on a bottle to pair with a variety of cheeses we’d picked up from the Passy market. Le Dokhan’s sommelier was the polar opposite of this. While he had all of the credentials to justify snobisme, he was approachable and laid-back and never made us feel like American idiots.

There were a few minor annoyances with our executive room. The sink faucet seal needed replacement, and water would constantly pool on the vanity. There were two robes, but only one set of slippers. The minbar refrigerator didn’t work (wanted to preserve some of that cheese!). Sometimes toiletries wouldn’t be replaced, or we’d get doubles of one item and none of another. The same went for coffee pods and tea sachets not getting replenished. Also, not once during our 5-night stay did a mug ever appear in order to consume said coffee or tea. We made do with the water glasses in the bathroom, which wasn’t ideal. These are certainly luxury problems at worst, but such details should not be overlooked in a five-star establishment.

I’m happy to have discovered this boutique hotel, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Absolutely charming lobby, I would know because I slept in it for several hours. Arriving at 10am we were hopeful a room might be available, but completely understood check-in is at 3:00. We returned at 1:00 hoping some progress had been made by housekeeping. Still no room, so we napped in the lobby. While we were napping two guests behind us were given their keys to check-in. My husband and I had been up 24 hours at this point and were desperate for a room, any room! A closet perhaps, which is basically what we got. My expectations were small and old, but for $700/night, this was unacceptable. Every time we showered, water went everywhere, very few plugs, low light levels, no drawers, missing conditioner in the bathroom, noisy. The first full day we returned to our room and it hadn’t been serviced so we had soggy towels from the shower situation.
Now, the champagne bar. So much potential there, maybe if there was service. I wanted two glasses of champagne after returning from dinner and had to ask the front desk twice if anyone was working. I finally got two tiny glasses for €41. The server told me as he poured that someone had walked out on their check earlier that evening. I can completely see why! Even with good intentions to pay, it’s hard when you can find anyone working.
The icing on the cake at check-out was being charged €25 for mini bar wine we did not drink. I didn’t get any reassurance it would be refunded either.
Stay away and spend your money somewhere else!

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. From the moment we entered the room, it was clear this was not going to be a pleasant experience. The room was incredibly small, making it uncomfortable to move around. To make matters worse, the shampoo and body wash provided were half empty, which is unacceptable since they should have been full and unopened.

The bathroom was another issue altogether. There was a holder coming off the wall, which was both unsightly and inconvenient. Additionally, we requested cold water from room service, and after waiting an hour, we called to ask where it was. The staff were unfriendly and dismissive, claiming only then that they didn’t have cold water. We then asked for regular water, which they said they’d bring, but it never arrived.

Frustrated, I had to go down to reception myself to ask for the water. Only then was it finally brought up to our room, but even then, it wasn’t placed in the mini fridge as suggested.

Overall, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic expectations, and the rude attitude of the staff only made things worse. I would not recommend staying here.

Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay at Le Dokhan's. We're sorry to read that your experience did not meet your expectations. We understand your disappointment regarding the room size and amenities. Our hotel is housed in a beautiful Belle Époque building, which often features smaller, more intimate rooms with unique architectural details. While we believe this charming atmosphere adds to the overall experience, we understand that it may not suit everyone's preferences. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the bathroom fixture and the lack of cold water. This is not reflective of the high standards of service we strive to provide. We will investigate this matter internally to ensure that these issues are addressed and prevented from happening again. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our offerings and services. Thank you for choosing Le Dokhan's, and we hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with a more satisfying experience. With all our warmest thanks,

From check-in right through our 4-night stay, we had a wonderful time here. Located in a convenient yet somewhat quieter part of Paris, we were very pleased with everything about Le Dokhan's. The staff were very friendly and most helpful with restaurant recommendations and any other needs and requests we had. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, the staff surprised us with some personal touches and treats in our room. Very much appreciated and unexpected! Our room, although very small, (but that is likely the case with most hotels in older historic buildings throughout Paris), was very comfortable and we had a large balcony that allowed us to enjoy the views of the neighbourhood. The bed and bedding were also most comfortable and the Sothy's amenities in the bathroom were also very nice! The original and unique Louis Vuitton steamer trunk converted into an elevator was really cool too! Le Dokhan's is located within walking distance of most major sites and also near many Metro stations. Fantastic, helpful and friendly staff throughout every department in the hotel! We would definitely return here on any future trip to Paris and would also recommend this hotel to friends/family/co-workers.

The lobby is charming and our upgraded room was ok. The problem is the bathroom needs attention, dirty calking, paint chipped all over bottom of door, it is tired. Also the stairway needs refreshing, carpet, paint, etc…hot water was out for 2 days & no manager on duty. Very disappointing and unfortunate. We had 2 rooms for 5 nights and used Marriott points for one.

The hotel itself is located at a perfect location But the problem is with the staff, especially the gentleman staff. Apon checking, I advised the gentleman that my Marriott card was on file and asked if there would be a problem when checking out, as I did not have it on me, but could call the card company at check out and he said no issues. At checkout, I was on phone with Marriott letting them know situation and they were in the process of getting charges approved, and he charged a different card on file. Very rude and said there was nothing else he could do to help me or void the charges and charge the card on file. Another issue I have with this place is the extra charges, for charging me 600.00 a night, it was almost ridiculous to charge 50.00 for coffee and croissants in the morning, when we are paying 600.00 a night. I picked this hotel for the location, but Hiltons are not like this at all. I had not problem paying for the coffee, but 50.00 for 2 coffees and 1 small croissants is a bit ridiculous.

We recently stayed here for two nights and did not have the greatest experience. As far as Paris hotels are concerned, the location of this hotel was nice, very close the the Eiffel Tower and Arc d'Triomphe. The staff was very accommodating given their limited ability to speak English. They sure did try, however, only the desk clerks could speak adequate English, the rest of the staff (the restaurant staff, housekeeping and bellmen) did not. Here is the real problem with this hotel, THE ELEVATOR DOES NOT WORK. We were given a room on the third floor and the elevator didn't work the entire time we were there. We know of one couple who checked out once they realized hiking up all of those stairs with bags, and after a long day of exploring ,was unacceptable. The staff tried to accommodate by helping with bags, but it wasn't enough. In addition, the bathroom in our room was extremely small even though the room was adequate in size. The bath tub was very deep and getting in an out of the shower was treacherous. I felt like a cirque d'soleil acrobat every time I got in or out of the shower. We would not stay there again for these reasons. There are better hotels for the same price. The hotel was vintage for sure.

Just checked out from our two night stay and it was absolutely wonderful. Let's start with the Pros
Livia was very patient with all my emails and questions we had .
Angelo set up everything for us . Tickets to see the French open stadium. Louve museum , and Eiffel Tower tics. He also set up airport pick up and airport drop off . Angelo delivered our luggage made sure we were all set in our room . Richard checked us in . Made sure I had small bills - Euros and dispatched all our cabs . I'm sorry I forget the young lady's name that served us breakfast she was gem . BTW breakfast is a game changer . What a treat . Angelo gave us some great suggestions for restaurants near by that did not disappoint. Market down the street , laundry service accross the street and 3 spas walking distance . Beautiful room lots of space and comfy bed .
Cons
Rain - don't think Livia and team can fix That
Not enough time . Sad we have to leave . If your thinking of booking a nice Marriott / excellent service and a fantastic location don't think twice you can thank me after your stay
