The rooms are older and could use some updating but they definitely had character. This hotel is located in a central location, right by the arc de triumph :) we initially stumbled upon it as we were walking down the street, as we stopped to look inside we were immediately won over by the amazing guest services/ overnight front desk agent Ray!!! This guy deserves a raise! He was truly the friendliest, funniest, most memorable person we met during our time in Paris. He went out of his way to help us book and print off our airport bus tickets (we weren’t able to book the tickets from our phone)! The next morning, Ray was there when we checked out, and he walked outside with us and gave us excellent directions to the bus station (seriously, we wouldn’t have found the bus if it wasn’t for his help)! Both my partner & I worked for the fairmont hotels and resorts for years and I can honestly say that the service that he provided us with was better than the service that we have received at luxury hotels around the world! Ray, I hope you see this & we wish you all the best!! Thanks for making our stay special. Ali & Chad…
We were a family of 4 who stayed here 2 nights in July of 2018 before a cruise and 1 night after. Our travel agent booked us 2 rooms at this hotel. This hotel is a typical European hotel. It is small and dated. The elevator is scary for sure, but 2 of us and 2 suitcases fit perfectly. My husband and I had a room right on the street with gorgeous doors to a small balcony and my kids room was at the back of the hotel. On our second night Paris won the semifinals of the world cup. So our night was very loud and quite fun actually. We just stood on our balcony and watched everybody party at the Arc De Triomphe and drive up and down the street with music and fireworks and people dancing. The hotel was very apologetic and accommodating, even though it was not their fault. When we woke up early to eat breakfast so we can catch our train to Le Havre cruise terminal, it was like nothing happened the night before. The hotel organized a limo for us to the train station and was very polite to us every time we came into and left the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Not alot to choose from but it did us just fine. The best thing about this hotel is the Location. You can see the Arc De Triomphe from certain rooms. The Champs de Elysees is 3 streets over. The hop on hop off locations are all really close. No car rental needed at all. I was nervous to stay here before we left, but once I got here I was happy with what our travel agent booked for us. Like I said before, the rooms are dated, but they are clean.…
The staff were polite and assisted me with any queries as well as printing my disney voucher which i appreciated. The hotel is in a fabulous location and quite clean however it is in need of renovation. Breakfast was sparse and i generally ate out.
This hotel is conveniently located about 60 meters from the Arc de Triomphe and is only a 5-minute walk from Avenue Champs Elysées. All air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a minibar, a safety deposit box, an en suite bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. I was lucky to get a corner room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet to enable a good nights sleep. The Royal Elysées Hotel provides a continental breakfast from 7am to 11am but it is a cold buffet located in a very tiny room with uncomfortable seats. I would return to this Hotel.
Rooms are adequate, not huge but have all mod cons that other hotels would charge for i.e kettles, irons, etc. Rooms were clean and regularly attended to. Staff: couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Location: brilliant ! perfect for sight seeing and catching tour bus connections etc. at the Arc de Triumph Plenty of close shops, supermarkets and eating places (we chose just room option) so cant comment on breakfast they offered. As for noise mentioned by others on here, it's a capital city, so expect 24/7 activity. Saying that with the windows shut couldn't hear much at all. Same goes for sound insulation mentioned by others on here. It's an hotel, people come and go and to be fair it didn't bother us and isn't any different to any other hotel I've been in before. Cleanliness: seemed very good to us. Bathroom: a little bit tired (odd tiles needed bit of grouting but nothing major) but clean and functional.…
