It was our first time to Paris. My husband and I stayed at Le Clef for 6 nights. The hotel rooms are super clean and spacious and the staff is incredibly so nice. Complimentary cappuccino/espresso any time in the main lobby. Afternoon tea with pastries too. The front desk staff with a special thank you to Rachel who made our stay even better. We would definitely return to Le Clef again. Thank you for a wonderful first visit to Paris.

Cons - We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in August 2023. We paid approx 360 euros per night which was very overpriced for the quality of the accommodation. The room selected was Superior room category. Good interiors but it was a bit run down. Unfortunately, I did not take images of the torn leather desk chair or the frayed edges of the sofa. The room comes with a small kitchenette which is very ill equipped. You need to request housekeeping for cups/glasses/utensils....good luck doing that! Almost impossible to have a telephone conversation with house keeping or the reception as they barely speak any English. They provide a laundry room, which I would never recommend to be used as it was disgusting and filthy! Pros - The main plus point imo is the fabulous location! Right on Avenue Kléber which is a stones throw from loads of Cafes/ Bars/ Restaurants and great views of the Eiffel tower each time you step out! Pharmacies, supermarkets, wine stores and others are dotting the entire street. Room was large and spacious, so that was good too since we were carrying a lot of luggage. Whatever little interactions we did have with the staff was pleasant. Hard to communicate but very polite! Request to the property - It's time to renovate and refurbish the hotel rooms. They felt dated and not fresh :( We didn't eat breakfast or any meal at the hotel so I cannot comment on their food & beverages.

We were traveling back to the US from Nice and to ensure no connection issues booked the hotel for one night. Proximity to the Eiffel Tower and reviews were the reasons we booked. Upon arrival there was no doorman/bellboy to get our bags. When we were taken to our room, next to the elevator it seemed odd. I did book the least expensive room, but still over 500 euros. Since we were basically only going to be there a few hours, then sleep and up early for our flight I didn’t think much of it. I subsequently realized it was a handicapped room which we neither requested or needed. Cold and minimalist. Worse was due to ADA considerations the shower was open into the bathroom with no curtain , so after using the floors were wet and slippery. Given the short time we were there not worth looking to change On a positive note they did recommend and reserve a table at Villa Marquise which was excellent.

Be ensure that your remark about the doorman/bellboy will be share to my front office manager. Except if he was with others guests or getting a car there is no reason for his absence. I would like to comeback on the rate and the fact that you received a room for handicapped person, the reason should be same : the very low availability. Prices increases as soon as our number of available rooms decreases. And, except if some guest asking for the handicapped room, this rooms are the last one we give Villa Marquise is one of my favorite recommendation, i am pleased to you enjoyed this place. The free cancellation included a non-refundable booking charge, in my case, $330.xx. Hardly a free cancellation. I cancelled the reservation 8 months in advance of the booking, so I did not stay at the hotel. I had to email 3rd party to receive an email confirmation; none came when I booked the rooms. The rooms looked perfect for our needs.

I recently stayed at Le Clef Eiffel in Paris with my family of five during June 25th to June 28th. Sadly, our experience at this purported five-star hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. Prepare yourself for the truth before booking! Despite the hotel's cleanliness and friendly desk agents, our arrival was marred by an infuriating delay of over an hour and a half due to a supposed "technical error." This was just the beginning of the endless disappointments that followed. Upon entering our room, we discovered that the air conditioning was completely non-functional. We immediately reported the issue to the front desk, hoping for a swift resolution. However, their response was nothing short of negligent and deceptive. They assured us that a technician would examine the problem while we dined out, only to act clueless when we returned, leaving our children to suffer through a sleepless night in unbearable summer heat. The next day, we raised our concerns again, but were met with excuses and empty promises. They claimed there was no technician on-site and said someone would come the following day. In the meantime, they mentioned providing fans as a temporary solution. However, the fans never arrived, and their failure to proactively offer us an alternate room with functioning air conditioning showed a complete lack of consideration for their guests' comfort. On our final night, a technician finally arrived, but his so-called "fix" was a laughable attempt at resolving the issue. The meager breeze he managed to generate was far from what can be deemed as air conditioning. As a token gesture, they offered to switch rooms for the last eight hours of our stay, but this futile offer did nothing to compensate for the misery we endured for two nights and three days. To add insult to injury, when we approached the front desk seeking assistance, the manager was conveniently absent. We were left with no choice but to send an email expressing our disappointment and requesting a partial refund. Their response was utterly unsatisfactory, merely brushing off our concerns and blaming the issue on structural problems. They offered a future renovation as a feeble excuse, but that does nothing to rectify the dreadful experience we had. Le Clef Eiffel's lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. The fact that they ignored our subsequent plea for resolution only further underscores their unprofessionalism and inability to deliver on their claims of being a high-end establishment. Consider this review a genuine warning to anyone considering Le Clef Eiffel for their stay. Don't be fooled by the superficial aspects of cleanliness and polite staff. The hotel's failure to address the air conditioning issue promptly and their dismissive response to our concerns reveal a complete lack of commitment to guest satisfaction. In conclusion, I strongly advise potential guests to exercise extreme caution when choosing Le Clef Eiffel as their accommodation. Save yourself from the misery, frustration, and disappointment we endured. Buyer beware! Update: They keep promising to refund my entire stay as they were very aware of the AC issue, but still haven't received my full refund. If they don't refund me asap I will post their response and you'll see that they were very aware of the issues and did nothing about it.

Inside the bedroom, that was not working at all, you had it only in the living room. And it is true that the problems with the air-conditionning are structural when the last work dates back more than 15 years. Despite this, we should have solved the problem sooner or at least not left you in this accommodation. Our front office staff were not up to your expectations and please know that your feedback will be used to improve their competence for the future. Let me start off with saying this was the worst hotel I have stayed at in a long time. While in France my friend and I stayed at many hotels as we traveled around and enjoyed them all with the exception of this one. There are no "5-star" aspects to this hotel - I have no idea how it can even be called that. From the moment we arrived it was off to a bad start. There is no door man or person to help with bags (also something I have never seen at a 5-star hotel). They also lock their front door and it can only be opened with a key (24hrs a day). We arrived at around 1:30pm for check in and after dragging our own bags out of our car we forced to wait at the door for a guest to come out in order to get into the hotel (keep in mind it was raining). We went to check in and the experience was bizarre. Not one thing about the hotel was told to us and a key was handed over. We went up to our room to find out there was no water whatsoever running (something that should have been told to us upon arrival). The room was also not as pictured - it was tacky, dated and looked like a child had been jumping on our bed and furniture in the room. We went out for the day hoping the water would be resolved. Upon our return we were told the water was working again. We went to our room to find it working (yay) but ONLY at scalding not. To the point we had to wash our faces by wetting a cloth, letting it dry and then using it 5 min later. We were unable to even shower. And our toilet would not flush. Fast forward to going to sleep after a day of exploring and a green light on our wall was SO bright it eliminated the entire room - thankfully the next night we covered it with items of clothing and face masks in order to dull the light but again not something you'd ever expect to have to do at a "5-star" hotel. The staff was not friendly or helpful at all and made their lack of interest well known. I could go on and on as we hated our experience that much but will wrap by saying do not stay here. There are MANY gorgeous hotels for a fraction of the price in Paris and this was a huge miss. Definite pass for us.

Staying at this hotel was a huge regret! Most of my things were stolen from my hotel room, and when we raised the issue to the hotel staff they were uncooperative, rude, and offered no help whatsoever, in fact they have actually decided not do anything about the stolen items even though it was stolen from my locked hotel room. They wouldn’t even show us the security cameras footage to help. Worst experience ever! If you’re considering on staying here, DON’T! You will be a victim of theft in this place. Safety -2/10 Service -5/10

This hotel ruined my whole trip, I have never experienced a situation like this before. I was really disappointed by how they reacted toward my problem which was a theft that happened within the hotel. I have placed the do not disturb sign and regardless of it they entered the room organized and cleaned it and STOLE two bags with expensive items in it. When I asked them for their help they didn’t show any interest and were totally unbothered by my complaints. When I told them what happened they started denying my words with no proof and tried to convince me that I left my belongings somewhere else, which is more frustrating than the whole situation. As a person who payed and stayed in this hotel I expected more from them but unfortunately I was really disappointed by their manners and communication this is a horrible place with a horrible staff that made me feel worse by asking for their help to find who entered the room while I was out. My advice is to never stay here because they do not deserve your trust even though they placed card of access for entry and make you feel they care about your safety, THEY DONT.

We paid for the premium room, some of which have a balcony, I emailed a week ahead of time to request a balcony which they said is not guaranteed, and upon arrival they said they never recieved this email. Upon arrival, the couple that checked in at the same as us received a balcony room, we did not, even though we paid for an upgraded room and requested in advance. Furthermore, one of the front desk staff jumped into the conversation and began to raise his voice at me which was very rude. They said they will try for the next day, but when I called they said no one ever reserved that specific room to chnage us so someone else got it. How hard is to see when someone with that room checks out and move us there. Point being: POOR COMMUNICATION AT THE FROMT DESK AND RUDE. Rooms are large and comfortable. No amenities. Basically you can pay less for an Air BnB. We are stil staying here so well see if it improves.
