Although this hotel was very cheap at 56 euros for a night for a twin or triple room I wasn't expecting to be stepping over homeless people asleep on the street next to the hotel or the All Night Disco/Rave party to be going on just a few doors away in a theatre. We checked in and were given a... More

Had this hotel booked through Groupon as a present. Arrived at hotel staff not very friendly, very steep shallow steps going up to rooms (there was a lift but you still had to climb steps to get to lift). Got to room which was tiny and so hot. Windows opened onto a paint peeling dirty wall. Bathroom so tiny you... More

I once stayed in a place in Lanzarote with a very similar name called "Los Hibiscos" and this was a nightmare, so when my friend told me they had booked this hotel above, I was not looking forward to it as the name reminded me of this experience. Unfortunately, this hotel didn't win me over by being better than I... More

Dirty very small room with dirty very small bathroom. The floor was oily. Bed linen was dirty. The bathroom door would not close. Breakfast was in neighbour hotel. I strictly do not recommend this hotel.

Stayed here at Dec 2015, I recommend never repeat my mistake. 1. it's really cold inside: they have thin windows, and the radiator (which is turned from time to time) is located on the opposite wall: while one bed is hot, the other is creepy cold. 2. a depot located nearby (see my photo) starts work at 6 or 7... That a European capital even allows such a dump to stay open is a fine review for the city itself. Disgusting rooms with an even more disgusting reception run by disgusting staff. Refugee shelters are better than this and they have the cheek to charge.

This was my first trip overseas with my boyfriend and this hotel almost ruined the trip for us! The room was basic, which is fine- as we knew we'd barely be spending anytime in the room. However, the problems... Well where do I start? 1. Electricity, it tripped in our room twice! After long days touring the city, this was... More

Non of them can speak more than 10 words in english. Asked them to refund at least 30/40% because of cancelation (caused by attacks) they refused and hang up. Terrible staff, no english speakers, huge minus. 1/5

Staying in Canal Saint-Martin

Neighborhood Profile
Canal Saint-Martin
The tree-lined Canal Saint-Martin is the focal point of one of the most romantic and hip areas of Paris. Watch boats travel along the canal while lovers and friends take in the atmosphere from the banks or the bridges. Evenings see hoards fill the embankments to drink wine and enjoy good company. The colder days lead people to hipster bars, cozy restaurants, and concert spaces. Those who are more adventurous may explore hidden gems down nearby streets, from local bars to futuristic architecture. With its enriching mix of people of all ages and backgrounds, this neighborhood has a dynamic, inspiring vibe.
