The hotel is located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, walking distance from all major monuments and benefits from a close proximity to the transportation system (RER, Metro, Bus). Our hotel, in a 15th century private residence offers suites, studios and apartments, associating the convenience of a service apartment and high quality hotel service. We are currently renovating the hotel.

We just arrived home from Paris and a stay at the Hotel Residence Des Arts. It was a charming hotel in a wonderful location-close to the Latin Quarter, Saint Germain, and Notre Dame, all within a 5 minute walk to multiple Metro stations. The rooms were beautifully decorated,

Our third stay at this wonderful hotel - this time with our family. The beds are comfortable, the staff are super helpful and it suited the needs of all three generations. The location is amazing. So close to the Seine, attractions and a really fun atmosphere in the surrounding

We stayed as a family of 4 for 7 nights in an apartment on the 3rd floor. The hosts were lovely, welcoming and helpful. The apartment was well sized although the bathrooms were not clean with mould in the showers. Despite an email to the owners in response to their feedback

We stayed at Residence Des Arts in November. The location couldn't be better, very close to Norte Dame cathedral, Louvre Museum, Shakespeare & Company Bookstore, Orsay Musee. The Seine riverbank, small boutiques and boutique cafes. The room was comfortable and included

This is a cute little hotel right in the heart of the city near lots of little restaurants and close to the subway stations, less than a block from the Quay and right near St Michel Square. Our suite was clean and we had a little kitchenette. Loved the area and will definitely

Junior Suite
Junior suite #42 (2/2)
Hi, yes there are only 2 rooms per floor - 1 Junior suite and 1 double room. So if you booked 2 junior suites you would be on different floors. They refer to the connected rooms as an apartment. The apartment we had had windows facing the street from both bedrooms and I am guessing they are all the same. I didn’t see a courtyard at all. The photos online do appear to show a larger apartment than we had, so perhaps the top floor is larger but also note that photos can be deceptive. The apartment we had on 3rd floor had a sitting area off the junior suite bedroom with a lounge that can be folded out into a bed, coffee table, tv and a very small and basic kitchenette - very old. You can have a basic breakfast here but cutlery and crockery is minimal and there wasn’t a table and chairs to sit at to eat. I hope this helps you.

Hello Stephanie. I have stayed at this hotel but not in a suite so I don't know the size of the sofa bed. But I did find the managers very pleasant and helpful. I emailed my questions and they got straight back to me. We loved the location and would not hesitate to go back. Enjoy.

We didn't stay at the junior suite, but I tell you, if you're looking for modern facilities, this is not the hotel for you. Try The Hotel de Seze close to the Paris opera. Stay at the Junior Suite there. Beautiful shower and tub, very modern.

Can only recommend this little hotel. It is simple, unfussy, honest and convenient. We stayed there last year and rebooked for June this year. We didn't end up staying in the Residence but across the street in their other hotel as they upgraded us (which is 4 star and also nice with the reception for both places in the lobby). To be honest, next year, I'll be back in the Residence which I prefer marginally for the tranquility (ie no reception so less traffic in and out). I have only stayed in the junior suite (with 2 kids) which was perfect and even had river glimpses, so I'm not sure how standard rooms are. But I can't fault the location (although tricky in a cab - narrow and lots of foot traffic) or the service. I've been going to Paris most years for some 35 years and this is the first hotel I've ever returned to. Oh - and I agree Caroline (above) re the restaurant on the corner - solid and reasonable - better than many in the area.
