The seven floors of the Cambon Paris have been entirely restructured and renovated, inviting you on a journey through the artistic and literary world of the 19th century. For the hotel reveals itself floor by floor with a tastefully cultivated romantic spirit and delicate colours. Seven floors, for the seven famous figures who lived on Rue Cambon and went down in history, from France's Consulate period to the Second Empire. Empress Eugénie, Chateaubriand, Stendhal... they were all an inspiration to us when decorating the rooms and redesigning them to feel like a guest room in a private home, offering only the very best. Step inside and be carried away by the beauty of the mouldings, the blond warmth of the oak flooring; run your hand over the furniture's pure lines, tracing its curves with your hand, and feel the soft light flooding in; open up to a sweet romantic reverie while contemplating the floral motifs and idyllic little country scenes that unfold around you. Here, there is no desire to show off, just a focus on materials, design, well-being, and know-how that makes each room a restful haven. A cocoon where each vintage object and each painting from our collection naturally finds its place. Where lamps in the purest of blown glass seem to float in the air, echoing the solar discs which diffuse their precious halo of light with infinite softness when night falls. A cosy, perfectly soundproofed nest, ideal for a revitalising break, whose atmosphere extends beyond each room into a bright, streamlined bathroom. A graceful and poetic invitation to unwind.

The hotel is amazing! Best location in Paris, beside the main attractions, quiet and clean, with great staff. I loved being there and I wish I can return soon! There´s no chance of being mistaken when you choose this hotel in Paris. During Christmas time, you´ll stay in front of the Christmas Market of the Jardin des Tuilleries!

Dear Plosen, Thank you for such nice comments. It is for sure so pleasant to read that you had an amazing stay with us , near all main spot like louvre, Orsay museums, vendôme square, and Fashion area on walking distance. We took the time of Covid to rebuilt all rooms in a very confortable and amazing 19century spirit with all technologies. The seven floors of the Cambon Paris have been entirely restructured and renovated, inviting you on a journey through the artistic and literary world of the 19th century. For the hotel reveals itself floor by floor with a tastefully cultivated romantic spirit and delicate colours hope to see you back soon take care isabelle - Managing Director

In the “real world” of disasters and pains the following is ludicrous. But business is business and this business is poorly run. I had been here in 2013 and had an excellent experience. I was surprised negatively this time by a remarkable change for the worse. I assume it is under new management. I had booked months in advance through their website. They obviously have a very capable photographer given that the room I walked into was nothing like the photo. A double room sold for two. Symbolically, I suppose, we found bathroom linens for one and had to alert staff. But this can happen, no problem. The breakfast was ungenerous and sparing - given the circumtances of course (and the price!) and the breakfast area was not clean –crumbs on most tables and only three ready. Staff seemed ill- prepared and indeed non professional relative to the hotel industry - the concierge a student with a side job, for example and clueless when asked questions. Admirable, no doubt, but not what you would expect. Upon retrurning to the hotel at 17:30, we found our room still unmade. I assume this can happen too, no problem. But when I complained I was amazingly told that "errors can happen", that it was no one’s fault, and that in 10 minutes our room would be made. A short time for careful cleaning... When the concierge later ungenerously blamed housekeeping, I asked to speak with the manager - not on the premises at 17:30 and only after our insistence did he give me her email. He then spoke to the housekeeping staff and told her (I am fluent in french) to "clean well as we were upset and going to call management"... (I assumed they would clean well regardless). After thirty minutes in the lobby we were able to "go to our room". No apology, no sign from management. Even after I wrote to the general manager, simply to let him know. No excuses for a 300 euro a night hotel. I agree that errors can happen. Yet when errors are made, it is normal to amend them and, given the circumstances, go an extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction. None of this happened. And putting all the above together, I would not recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 11 nights in December, 2019 and January 2020. We had a small suite (same price) which was beautifully decorated, quiet and, by European standards, reasonably spacious. The only nit we had to pick with it was some sacrifice of utility to aesthetics. For example, the very modern, and attractive, fixturing of the bathroom created virtually no flat horizontal surfaces for such mundane items as pill boxes, toothpaste, etc., and while there was a large (by European standards, again) closet for hanging items, there were no drawers in case one was not used to hanging up, say, socks and underwear. I don't want to overstate the problem: we managed well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The small (10 in total) staff were friendly and helpful, with many doubling their roles such as bellhop + breakfast server. Speaking of breakfast: uniformly excellent. We found the location, in the 1st Arrondissement, to be superb, essentially across the street from the Tuileries, a short walk from Musee l'orangerie and only slightly longer walks to the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay. Only the park separates the hotel from the river. The neighborhood is the home of the many, many high end fashion houses and while the goods were, literally, way above our pay grade, the buildings and windows were gorgeous, particularly at Christmas time. Also special at Christmas was a "Christmas Market" nearby in the Tuileries, operating from before Christmas until a week into the new year.
