Quite great. Nice staffs. And the hotel itself is very classic and all. I like the interior of the entrance, corridor, breakfast hall. Generally nothing particular to complain. But don't expect to have nice view from your room.

The hotel is well located for any sightseeing. Although it's so close to the metro station Grands Boulevards it's really quiet during the nights in the rooms. The staff was really kind. The hotel is old but cute. Big groups might have a problem to find enough space in the small breakfast room. The freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast... More

We stayed just one night at Hotel Chopin, but during that 18-hour stopover we must have said a hundred times that we wished it could have been longer. Things got off to an annoying start as we had requested weeks earlier -- and *twice* confirmed -- that my husband and I would have a room directly next door to our... More

My experience at the Hotel Chopin has always been great. Friendly, helpful staff, clean (but small) rooms, good continental breakfast, and great funky location in the arcade! The price is reasonable for the city of Paris, and the location is convenient to many sites and the Metro.

I would really recommend this hotel. The staff were great, the hotel situated at the end of a passage with lovely interesting shops. Very reasonable prices. Check that your room is one of the recently upgraded ones. We will come back again.

We checked into Hotel Chopin in Paris on the 19th of July and stayed for three nights. This hotel is a little jewel tucked away at the end of a glass covered passageway called the Passage de Jouffroy on Rue Monmartre in Paris. The shops in the passageway were one of a kind. I felt like I was in Diagon... More

Friendly staff, clean rooms. No traffic noise but conversations etc from neighboring rooms is available free of charge. Pay extra 8EUR for breakfast to get more than just a croissant and espresso; might not be the best croissants you have ever got but definately the best option if you are travelling with kids

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Chopin - we were only there for a short time, but everything about it was very charming and the staff was very helpful. We would definitely return a second time.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
