We stayed in the Hotel Chopin for 2 nights over a weekend. It is situated down a quiet little passageway, away from the noise and busyness of Paris, however, step outside of the passageway and you are right in the centre of Paris, with the metro stop a 2-min walk away. The location is fantastic. The staff are very friendly... More

Friendly staff, great location. View on the roofs, not on the street, so the rooms are quiet. For to those who wish to get away from the standardized appearance of hotel chains. On our next trip to Paris we will stay here again.

We spent three nights here in order to be close to where family was staying in a business hotel. Very quiet, helpful receptionist. Clean. Good value for money. The breakfast was average, although it included unlimited freshly squeezed orange juice. Disappointing croissants. Located in a covered passage that has many interesting shops.

We stayed here for 8 days while we explored Paris, and it was the perfect location within a cozy "passage" (covered alleyway). The staff was friendly and inviting, at the desk 24/7, and they held your key at the desk when you went out. Breakfast was very nice with flaky croissants and a fresh squeezed OJ machine. Rooms were clean... More

We have enjoyed staying in this hotel on many occasions. Like all in Paris, the rooms are tiny, but always neat and clean. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Optional continental breakfast is generous help-yourself, with fresh squeezed orange juice, cereal, croissants etc. Situated in one of the historic passages, the location is great. Close to the underground &... More

Charming, clean and convenient the hotel was also quiet and a good place to stay. The unusual setting in the arcade made it feel safe and the breakfast was good. It has a lift but it is a few steps up so be aware if mobility is a problem.

Priced as a further zone with immediate access to premium zone. Clean and cozy hotel. If I go to Paris again I will firs look up for this hotel availability. Everywhere close. View from the room was on roofs on other hotels, but yet it was romantic.

Quite great. Nice staffs. And the hotel itself is very classic and all. I like the interior of the entrance, corridor, breakfast hall. Generally nothing particular to complain. But don't expect to have nice view from your room.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
