Their junior suite is very spacious, clean and looks very classy. All their staff are extremely helpful. We had problems with our luggages from Montreal to Paris. Very appreciate that the conceirge were communicating to us when our baggages were delivered. They also did an extra mile to send 1 more luggage to our new Paris address when the courier failed to do so. Our family is beyond words grateful of what you guys did for us during our stay in Paris. Merci beaucoup!
Great Location. Within walking proximity of the Tower Eiffel Gustavo. A Bonaparte residence well maintained in its grandeur. Shangri-La hospitality topnotch a touch above the rest. View of the tower is possible from few locations of the hotel. River siene flows gently below the boulevard. Amazing hotel with amazing service. Concierge helped us with the tours and dining
A fantastic stay may be had at the nicest hotel in Paris. Everything was great, which made me even more grateful for our time spent in the city. All of the staff members are really courteous and always willing to accommodate our needs.
Everything was wonderful for my fist time at the Shangri-la ,Paris ! The employees were very kind ! I want to tank Mathilde from the Guest Relations who did my arrival to the hotel ! Also Edwige and Maria from the Service Center who were very lovely and very effective for the requests i did ! Also Julien from the Duty Manager who called us during our stay to make sure everything was okey. Amin from the room service was great ! He brought our breakfast on time and with a nice presentation. And finally Lisa from the guest relations did my departure from the hotel , she was very kind and effective! Thank you to everybody for this amazing stay ! loved the decorations and the pastries in the room ! And the view of the room was very lovely!
Wow what an amazing experience and such a great location! I really felt like the whole staff genuinely cared about making my stay perfect and they were all so lovely! Gorgeous historic property and fantastic up-close views of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The pool and spa looked beautiful, next time I will try. This is one of those places where it is truly worth it to splurge and book a really nice suite as the staff are truly dedicated to making everything special. It was my first experience with Shangrila hotels and I will definitely be back!!
I stayed at the Shangri-La Paris for 6 nights. I spent 2 in a Deluxe room, and 3 nights in a Duplex Terrace Eiffel View Suite. I didn't have much of a view from the Deluxe room, but the room was still beautiful, quiet, and clean. I actually preferred some aspects of this room over the much larger Duplex Terrace Eiffel View suite, but the Eiffel View suite had an amazing view that I absolutely savored every moment of. I opted to do their VIP airport transfer, and it was wonderful. I was met by my escort right after I got off the plane and was taken to a short customs line (bypassing the longer lines everyone else was in) before collecting my luggage and being taken to my driver. I breezed through customs and then had a relaxing drive to the hotel. I would absolutely do the VIP airport transfer again, because everything about it was great. The staff at the Shangri-La Paris were top-notch. Everyone from the doormen to the room attendants were fantastic. They were always very friendly, helpful, and did what they could to assist me anytime I needed anything. The concierge scored me a dinner reservation at the Michelin starred Jules Verne restaurant in the Eiffel Tower, and also arranged for a private guide to meet me at the restaurant and take me up to the top level of the Eiffel Tower for a tour after dinner. One day I twisted my ankle on some cobblestones while I was out, and when I came back to the hotel, the front desk sent someone up to my room with some ice, and an employee dashed out to a store to get me a bandage. When he brought it to my room, he even carefully wrapped my ankle for me! I've never stayed anywhere where I had that kind of service! Another example of their amazing service: my first night in Paris was at an AirBnB close to the hotel (last minute scheduling issues led to me being in Paris a day earlier than I'd planned, and my preferred room wasn't available at the hotel). Even so, when I was picked up from the airport, I was driven directly to the AirBnB as I'd requested. I wasn't sure they would do that, since the airport transfer was supposed to take me straight to the hotel, but when I asked, they said it was no problem. The following day, an employee of the hotel walked over to the AirBnB to take my bags and walk me to the hotel to check in. I was blown away by this. There are so many things I could write about how amazing the staff, was, but it would fill a small book! I really enjoyed having breakfast in my room, especially when I was in the Duplex Terrace Eiffel View suite. The food was always really tasty and came promptly. I had breakfast on the terrace once, but a small swam of European yellow jackets invited themselves to join me and sample my breakfast and I spent a bit of time vigorously shooing them away with my napkin. They were undeterred, though. Ugh. It was annoying, but I laughed because I could see the humor in the situation too: I was trying to have a glamorous breakfast with the Eiffel Tower in the background, and the yellow jackets zoomed in like jerks to troll me. LOL. After that, I had breakfast inside my room. I also had dinner out on the terrace, and that was wonderful. I was able to eat and enjoy the view and relax without being pestered by buzzing pests. The yellow jackets apparently only come by to join you in the mornings. I was told this only happens a few months out of the year, so most of the time you can probably breakfast on the terrace without any uninvited visitors. My only complaint about my stay is that my room attendant for the Duplex Terrace Suite didn't clean my room one day. I think they forgot for some reason. My bed was still unmade and all the plates from breakfast were still there when I came back later that afternoon. I called the front desk to let them know, and they offered to have someone come to my room straight away to clean it, but I was planning to stay in for the rest of the evening and didn't want to leave so the room could be cleaned. It seemed like the room attendant for the Deluxe room was better about keeping the room tidy and being punctual. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay. I was LARPing as someone who is well-to-do, even though I'm solidly blue-collar, so it was fun to get a taste of how the other half travels.…
The day we arrived we were sent to another hotel because this one shut down due to no water at all. We ended up moving here the day after and the hotel helped us to move our luggage from the other hotel- which was beautiful- to this one. The only reason we moved here is because we had the Duplex Suite with the VIEW of the Eiffel tower. The room was very French traditional style ( not modern) and very comfortable bed. The arrival included Champagne, macarons, cake and tons of sweets. We loved this ! Every night we will fall sleep with the Eiffel tower sparkling over our window. That was the best part of the hotel. We did get turn down service every evening and that was super nice, especially because we were sharing a bathroom with our daughter and we needed the extra towels. The place can use some remodeling but overall is nice.…
Marvellous Marvellous Marvellous! The best hotel in Paris, a dream of perfect staying. Everything was perfect and it all made me love our stay in the city even more. All the people working have been very kind and always ready to satisfy our desires.
We just returned from Paris and miss this hotel already. Mathilda at the front desk was beautiful and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our accommodations. We stayed in the Gustave Suite (606) and it was beyond our expectations. A view of the Eiffel from every window and a terrace to make you never want to leave. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Fresh flowers through the suite made me smile every day. Daniel at the valet greeted us my name and we loved talking to him. Overall I can say this has been the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Great neighborhood and location. Worth every penny for a great Parisian experience.
I want to express my gratitude to the employee Matilda for the quality service. We were very pleased with the service and would definitely return if possible. Also, thanks for the pleasant atmosphere, I managed to take a break from the working routine.
