The rooms are correct, not too spacious but big enough and clean. The staff is nice and internet works well. The real advantage of this hotel is the location! Perfectly situated you can access a lot of famous places of Paris within 20 minutes walking! ( the marais, the Place des Vosges, Bastille, the Chatelet, Notre Dame, Saint Michel, the...

We stayed here for a 4 day break. The facilities are basic but the beds were comfortable and the shower decent. If you just need somewhere to lay your head after a day of sightseeing then it's perfect.

The Hotel de Sully is a well-restored vestige of seventeenth-century wealth and power in Paris. The interior of this former private mansion is not open to the public because it serves as the headquarters of the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, although the Librarie du Sully, a one-room bookstore in the mansion, has a beautiful beamed and painted ceiling that deserves...

The location is very good, close to two metro stations and to Notre Dame. There is no elevator, though, and the stairs are steep and narrow. The staff was friendly. The bathroom was small but clean. The neighborhood was good, with many places to dine right around the corner.

Noisy, very old, very dirty. So dirty, it's impossible to take a shower, we were afraid to get some diseases. We booked for 4 nights but after 2 nights we had to find an other place to sleep. This hotel should be closed. Run away !

This is an old hotel in the Marais district of Paris. It is well located, but is in desperate need of an upgrade. It covers 5 floors without a lift, so carrying significant luggage, as we were is no joke-although the proprietor did help us out. The hotel claims to have a telephone in each room, but you cannot use...

Hotel was very old but charming. Our room was very quiet, on the top floor overlooking a courtyard with a bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and was a great location for two nights while visiting Paris. Room serviced each day.

Dirty and noisy hotel, especially when you have a room at streetside. Our room was so dirty we asked for an other room the next morning. Which was a bit better, but still at streetside. No sleep for two night because of the cars racing by and the busstop under our window. Better avoid this hotel.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
