This is by far my favorite Paris boutique hotel located on a lovely little street. First-class service, comfortable and cozy rooms, clean and quiet and walking distance to many visitor attractions. Walking distance (for me that is 1-2 miles) from many major Paris attractions (Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Musee D'Orsay, Seine river, Louvre, etc.), but it feels well out of the fray. Though the street outside can be very busy, when the windows are closed, the sound is almost non-existent from outside or between rooms. The rooms are very well appointed and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The showers are nice and modern. The entire staff was overly accommodating and extremely friendly speaking nearly perfect English to offset my miserable French. We love having dinner at Le Pre aux Clercs just on the next corner up from the hotel and there are numerous little cafes and restaurants located within blocks of the hotel. I will stay here every time.…
I have stayed at Hotel La Villa Saint-Germain several times now on my visits to Paris. I believe it is a very good omen that most of the staff are still in place from the time of my first visit about 10 years ago. This is a gem of a hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds super comfortable with nice, modern bathrooms. I loved my room with a view out onto the beautiful rue Jacob. What a wonderful location!! It was especially helpful that this lovely boutique hotel is equipped with a lift. My friend had injured her foot and could not climb stairs with ease so this feature was a life saver. All of the staff were wonderful -- warm, welcoming, friendly and accommodating in every way. Celia at reception was a delight and Olivier offered 5 star service; incredible professionalism -- he is such a kind and considerate person. He also makes a wonderful cocktail! I would like to mention all of the staff by name but, sadly I do not have this information to share. Next time!…
Lovely hotel. Lovely staff too. Great area with many cafes within a few blocks. Skip the overpriced breakfast and head one block up to Josephine bakery for a lower cost coffee and danish. Stayed in a JR suite which was plenty for our family of 4 (two kids on pull out couch). Loved being able to walk to the louvre and notre dame from the hotel too. Short walk to a hop on hop off touristy bus too. Solid A in my book.
We (2 couples in 2 rooms) spent 11 nights at this hotel and never regretted our choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our requests (especially Celia & Olga) They made our dinner reservations at local restaurants and booked taxi's as needed. Made suggestions for shopping, and helped with our health passes. Had a very nice breakfast setup although on the pricey side. We had a Junior suite which gave us an extra room with a sofa where we'd plan our next day adventures. Very modern glass stall shower and a separate bathtub. The hotel is in a perfect location if you love outdoor Cafe's, there are so many to choose from. Within walking distance of Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay & The Seine, plus a Metro Station right around the corner (St. Germain des-Pres). We are still talking about the great time we had here, and how lucky we were picking this location of Paris. Hotel has elevator, fitness rm. & lounge with nice snacks and good wine. Thank you Celia & Olga...Bob & Darian USA…
The front desk and breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious by Paris standards. The location cannot be beat. The value is excellent. We have stayed here before in 2019 and plan to stay here again.
We had visited the hotel before in 2021 and it was fine. Average but we understood because of covid rules they could not do more. We planned a journey this January and asked friends to join us . I called the hotel before I booked in relation to the internet rate and the hotel explicitly told me I could cancel even the day before. I asked if I should book via booking and they assured me there would be no problem. I went ahead and booked on their website. We tested for covid the day before our journey ( we did the tests precisely to travel) our journey so of course we cancelled. I cancelled the hotel and I received a notice with no other problems. Out of courtesy I also emailed the hotel and received a polite reply with wishes and nothing else. They sent me AFTER all this a charge for the full amount of our stay. Despite many emails ans phone calls they charged my credit card! And despite emails after that, they CALL to ask me to find a way to “resolve this”. With money still taken. Moral of the story. Not a bad hotel for the area, could be much better and could be worse, simple little place. if you want to be punshied for getting sick, follow government rules, or protect others from getting sick, Then you have to get punished for it with the full amount.…
Highly recommened. We will be back! Spacious rooms which are nicely designed with all amenities. Very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel couldn‘t have a better location. Very quiet and conveniently located opposite Laduree for macron shopping! 1 minute to deux magot and metro stop!
We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The location is excellent. The rooms are clean and well proportioned. There was a bit of early traffic noise that woke us from time to time, but it wasn’t too bad. We would definitely go back there on another visit to beautiful Paris.
Overall very pleased with our stay at Hotel La Villa Saint-Germain. The staff was very helpful and service-minded. The location in Paris couldnt be any better. Will defintely book this hotel for later trips!
Our 3rd visit to this hotel and it reminds us why we keep coming back! A fantastic hotel, stylish with individually themed rooms (we’ve stayed in a standard, privilege and junior suite), great staff and the perfect location for shopping and exploring. Our Paris bolthole and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.
