The Hôtel La Villa Saint Germain des Prés Paris boasts a perfect location, at the centre of Saint Germain des Prés and near a number of tourist, cultural and historical sites. It lies at the crossroads of three, equally charming quarters: the Latin Quarter and its art galleries, the 7th arrondissement and its antique dealers and Opera and its luxury boutiques, which stretch to the prestigious Place Vendôme. From our hotel, you are just a few minutes from the Seine, the Louvre as well as the Palais Royal and the Tuileries Garden, the ideal place for a gentle stroll whatever the season. The Musée d’Orsay and Notre Dame Cathedral are also close to the Villa Saint Germain des Prés, from where you are within quick and easy reach of all the capital’s different quarters thanks to the good public transport links: bus, metro and RER.

This hotel was centrally located in St Germaine, but in a quieter area of the city. We were easily able to walk to lots of things, including the Pont de Alexander, Notre Dame, & the Eiffel Tower or grab an uber. The room was big enough for 2 nights, but may have been tight for a longer stay with 2 people. The bathrooms are different in every room - we had a glass door in ours, friends had a half a glass wall & the rest open & another room had a shower curtain. The room was clean & comfortable. The hair dryer was quite old & awful to use. I have never seen anything like it before & you have to hold this tube which gets hot. It took me forever to dry my hair as it isn't very powerful. I would strongly suggest the hotel invest in real/modern hair dryers. I do see that the hotel is currently closed for 9 months of renovations, so I would expect this to be addressed! Hopefully they also add many more plugs w/USB connections, so you don't have to worry about adapters! The temperature of the room was quite warm & we had the heat turned off the entire time. Luckily we were able to open the windows to cool it down. Staff members were friendly & welcoming & were able to make restaurant suggestions, as well as arrange taxis for us. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but appreciated that the option was there.

My daughter and I visited during the heat wave of October. Thankfully the windows open and the nights were cool. Overall we loved the hotel. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The bartender is especially great! Great drinks and a private atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again!

Little boutique hotel on rue Jacob Pros : front desk / probably the nicest and helpful I have seen . They are a strength of this hotel . Especially the 2 ladies in the morning . They are the reason for the extra star 2: location : bustling area full of people and short walk to seine Cons: 1 :temperature control / u have a thermostat but the hotel decides if the heat or air is on. Room was warm one night and warm air was coming out. Hotel had turned the heat on 2 : bathroom , get a walk in shower . Tub was dangerous . Had a half a shower door and a steep step in / no bar to hold on to and was slippery 3: too much stuff on the shelves , it takes away much needed space for your things Overall : I truly believe the staff makes this hotel . They seem to greet everyone as a friend that just came home . Probably a 3 star hotel with a 5 star staff

This was the perfect hotel for our visit. It is in the best location with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We walked to most places we wanted to go or to the Metro which is just a couple of short blocks away. The hotel itself is great, super friendly staff - Celia and the team were always welcoming. The room we had was the slightly larger room size and it was very comfortable and big enough for two people. We had a lovely view out the window, which we opened wide to hear the activity from the street. Once the window was closed, we didn’t hear a thing and slept soundly. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the linens are high end, I could not ask for a more comfortable bed. They cleaned the room every day and also turned down the beds in the afternoons, which was great. Every day they left us fresh bottles of water by the beds too, which was a nice touch. We would definitely come again and stay at this hotel! We even went on a fantastic Seine dinner cruise on Le Calife (highly recommended) and it turned out the boat docks just a few blocks from the hotel and we just walked back and forth to it. We had a fantastic girls trip with lots of shopping and eating nearby!

Enjoyed 2 separate short stays at Hotel La Villa at each end of our recent trip to Paris and the South of France. We will definitely be back! The staff are all passionate about the customer experience, frequently going over and above to help us with our plans or dinner reservations, and even making fresh coffee at odd hours when we needed to catch an early train for a wine tour in the Loire Valley! Special thanks to Lehcin, Celia, and Julio, but many others were outstanding as well! The location is excellent to be in walking distance or a short cab ride to countless restaurants, shopping, and sites, near Blvd St Germain. We also learned that the hotel will be undergoing renovations soon to upgrade it to a 5 Star by 2023, so we will definitely look to stay here on our next visit!

Booked for three nights for our first visit to the St Germain district - we had an excellent experience in this boutique style hotel. Staff are very friendly and most staff had good English speaking skills to compensate for our own poor French language abilities! Breakfast is excellent, particularly for us as New Zealanders used to an option of eggs to go with a very good standard of fresh fruit and toast/croissants etc. Delicious French coffee - again for NZers who are used to good barista good coffee - not the 'Starbucks' rubbish of the USA.

This is by far my favorite Paris boutique hotel located on a lovely little street. First-class service, comfortable and cozy rooms, clean and quiet and walking distance to many visitor attractions. Walking distance (for me that is 1-2 miles) from many major Paris attractions (Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Musee D'Orsay, Seine river, Louvre, etc.), but it feels well out of the fray. Though the street outside can be very busy, when the windows are closed, the sound is almost non-existent from outside or between rooms. The rooms are very well appointed and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The showers are nice and modern. The entire staff was overly accommodating and extremely friendly speaking nearly perfect English to offset my miserable French. We love having dinner at Le Pre aux Clercs just on the next corner up from the hotel and there are numerous little cafes and restaurants located within blocks of the hotel. I will stay here every time.

I have stayed at Hotel La Villa Saint-Germain several times now on my visits to Paris. I believe it is a very good omen that most of the staff are still in place from the time of my first visit about 10 years ago. This is a gem of a hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds super comfortable with nice, modern bathrooms. I loved my room with a view out onto the beautiful rue Jacob. What a wonderful location!! It was especially helpful that this lovely boutique hotel is equipped with a lift. My friend had injured her foot and could not climb stairs with ease so this feature was a life saver. All of the staff were wonderful -- warm, welcoming, friendly and accommodating in every way. Celia at reception was a delight and Olivier offered 5 star service; incredible professionalism -- he is such a kind and considerate person. He also makes a wonderful cocktail! I would like to mention all of the staff by name but, sadly I do not have this information to share. Next time!

Lovely hotel. Lovely staff too. Great area with many cafes within a few blocks. Skip the overpriced breakfast and head one block up to Josephine bakery for a lower cost coffee and danish. Stayed in a JR suite which was plenty for our family of 4 (two kids on pull out couch). Loved being able to walk to the louvre and notre dame from the hotel too. Short walk to a hop on hop off touristy bus too. Solid A in my book.

We (2 couples in 2 rooms) spent 11 nights at this hotel and never regretted our choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our requests (especially Celia & Olga) They made our dinner reservations at local restaurants and booked taxi's as needed. Made suggestions for shopping, and helped with our health passes. Had a very nice breakfast setup although on the pricey side. We had a Junior suite which gave us an extra room with a sofa where we'd plan our next day adventures. Very modern glass stall shower and a separate bathtub. The hotel is in a perfect location if you love outdoor Cafe's, there are so many to choose from. Within walking distance of Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay & The Seine, plus a Metro Station right around the corner (St. Germain des-Pres). We are still talking about the great time we had here, and how lucky we were picking this location of Paris. Hotel has elevator, fitness rm. & lounge with nice snacks and good wine. Thank you Celia & Olga...Bob & Darian USA
