My wife and I stayed at Hotel Jardin le Brea last April and we returned this year for four nights with our nine year old daughter. Once again we had a fantastic stay. The hotel is close enough to most places you'll want to visit for you to be able walk, but far enough out for the surrounding areas to... More

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Any questions, they were more than happy to help. Rooms were a tad small compared to your typically chains, but did not bother us at all. They were very comfortable and romantic. In the heart of Montparnasse, you really cannot beat this hotel. This will be a hotel I return to.

this hotel is perfectly located. not too close to all the sites, but not too far. We walked a couple of blocks to catch the hop on hop off Bus which takes you all over town. Very nice restaurants are just outside and across the street. The bedding was so comfortable. We had been all over Europe at many hotels,... More

I was gladly surprised by this charming hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. We started our days with the included breakfast. The staff was always helpful - wonderful. Lots of restaurants. Three choices of metro line, one very close by. 👍🏼✨

Jardin Le Brea is a very good hotel for the money. The rooms, albeit small like many others in Paris, are clean and comfortable. The baths are roomy, modern, and include blow-dryer (with Euro-style plug) and toiletries. The beds are exceedingly comfortable and invite afternoon naps after a full day on the tourist beat. The elevator is small, but does... More

Very clean, friendly, helpful with hotel needs as well as tour help. Great Showers. Located near restaurants, bars and shopping, a great help after a day of sightseeing. Would stay there again with most attractions within walking distance.

Charming atmosphere at the reception with cosy furniture. No real garden. Rooms have been renovated in 2016. Small rooms like often in Paris. Nice shower in the bathroom. The street may be a little noisy so you may ask for a room on the court. Breakfast in a beautiful old cellar. Buffet breakfast OK but a bit low on the... More

Stayed for 5 nights. The staff were very welcoming and spoke good English. The room is small but very conformable. Nice view of the street from the window. The elevator is tiny and very slow so we found ourselves using the stairs. The breakfast is basic but nicely done. The hotel is in a good area, a lot of restaurants... More

The hotel has a lovely welcoming feel that comes from the fantastic staff. They were, without exception, friendly, helpful and considerate. Our arrival was delayed 7 hours, we arrived at 3am, my 87 year old mother exhausted. The rooms had been changed, Stephanie had recognised mumwould struggle to access the bathroom in the single room that I had booked and... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
