We have just spent 6 nights at the beautiful Hotel De Lille and it was perfect! From when we arrived all the staff were lovely and the room was ready for us. It is a brand new hotel and very modern with a BIG comfortable bed- which is hard to find in Paris. The shower was honestly the best out... More

Excellent, stylish little hotel in a great neighbourhood. Surrounded by restaurants and typically Parisian cafes, close to the Seine and the spectacular Musee D'Orsay. Modern Decor and fixtures in our room.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It is by far the best we have every stayed at in Paris. We stayed there for four days with our children of 10 and 12. We stayed in room 52. The location is incredible to easily access many attractions within walking distance or a short cab ride. For a room... More

My family and I were welcomed when we arrived at the hotel. Our room was very clean but quite small for a family of four. The person who assisted us spoke English, but to my dismay rudely burst out laughing upon hearing how I pronounced The Louvre. Evidently three years of French back in high school decades ago didn't help.... More

Walk one block to the Seine and directly across is the Louvre and some lovely restaurants. From there make your way up or down the Seine with major attractions really close. The room is very small but very, very stylish and the staff are wonderful. Definitely have breakfast in the cellar room!

We were staying one night in Paris and booked this stylish hotel. Its in a great location not far from the Musee D'Orcy and there are some really good restaurants nearby. We arrived too early for check in but they looked after our bags and gave us directions to the car park (The car park is a public car park... More

Interesting hotel. Superb tv set up, rock music of your choice. Rather expensive for where it was and for such a tiny room. Shower cubicle although nice also very small. Would not recommend to anyone over 10 st(140lb, 62kg).

This is a great boutique hotel. Location is near to good restaurants, cafes and Saint Germain shopping area. The soccer was on when we were there and Paris was buzzing with noise but our hotel was quiet . We found the room large for Paris and bathroom had large shower recess and good shower pressure ( Room no.1)We loved the... More

We paid €279 per room. The hotel includes a restaurant in the lobby. It was never open except for a breakfast buffet which was really poor and not included in the price. In one of our rooms the power shut off during the night. Honestly if the room was €79 i would give it 4 stars. But €279 is ridiculous

Nice hotel, reasonably price, near Orsay Museum, St Germain des Pre and other Latin Quarter places. go to nearby La Palette Bistro, Cafe de Flore, Brasserie Lipp, and Caffe Duex Maggots and follow in the footsteps of; Hemingway, Picasso, Sartre and other great artists.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

The Hotel de la rue de Lille invites you to discover the Left Bank, its lifestyle, its history. A neighborhood of writers, singers and artists, the Saint Germain des Prés district, whith its caves and its unconventionality. A lifestyle, that of the Faubourg Saint Germain, with its old families dear to Proust. A history, that of the bi-millennial Left Bank marked in every stone. The Hotel de la rue de Lille, fully renovated, is one of those places where people like to settle down like at home, or better, as a VIP guest in an exceptional place. The rooms are all different.
