We stayed two weeks in this hotel with a one-night break in the middle. The service is outstanding with the staff efficient, helpful and friendly. On our one-night break in our stay they stored our bags for us and when we returned they'd put our bags in our room. The location is fabulous and the beds comfortable and rooms clean.... More

Locate on the Left Bank, above the Latin Quarter you could not find a better location if you want to be away from the constant flow of tourists but close to everything. Three metro stops within about five blocks and a nice walk to Notre Dame, Luxembourg gardens and the Pantheon. Easy walk from the RTR station where the airport... More

This hotel is charming, well run, clean and comfortable. Let's talk location: nothing nicer than strolling down Boulevard St. Germaine a street away as the city comes to new life each morning or winds down each night. Had two lovely triple rooms for family of six. Both opened onto the street, Rue des Ecoles. People on this complain about street... More

Recently stayed for 3 nights. Room was small, but what we expected. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic, coffee good. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Location is good, 10 minute walk to Notre Dam, we had a full day walking to Eiffel Tower to Arc de Triumph, then to Louvre. Lots of cafés close to hotel and... More

This hotel is very comfortable. We had a small but cozy room looking out on the street with large windows that opened. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. There is a TV( which I doubt you will have time to watch) and a private safe in the room. With the windows closed at night it... More

So the four of us booked this hotel for a trip to paris. My room was amazing and very Parisian. It was in a lovely area and we had a balcony that looked out to the road beneath. The staff were helpful and friendly and all very knowledgeable. If I could give it 100 stars I would. There is nothing... More

Our room was modest but comfortable, the staff were pleasant and helpful, and the location (between Maubert-Mutualite and Cardinal Lemoine) was great. Would search for this hotel next time we're in Paris. We enjoyed the convenience of breakfast on the first floor (7 Euros). Staff helped with restaurant reservations and even brought museum night to our attention.

This is a very small hotel, about two dozen rooms at most. The rooms are average European hotel size and kept very clean. I loved the rough stone walls on the winding staircase with rustic paintings directly on the stones. My room had a small mural on the wall over my bed. Breakfast is available in the hotel for an... Very friendly staff - great location on the left bank. The room is small , clean with a balcony you can sit on and share a bottle of wine! If you want somewhere to sleep at the end of a days exploring with no frills but lots of charm , very french and no semblance to a chain hotel I... More

Let me start with saying my friend and I have never been to Europe before so we needed all the guidance we could get. Nicholas is the front concierge, and Gladys the night shift. Both made our stay wonderful. Nicholas speaks English, French, German, Spanish, some Italian. He will take the time to show you how to get to landmarks... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
