You are paying for the location and a relatively large room in Paris. If this is your priority, this will be a good fit! In a Hyatt I expect consistently helpful staff and a good nights sleep but unfortunately I found neither of those in this hotel.
I had high expectations for this hotel, they did not just live up to that, they even exceeded them. Great location, close to everything. The staff is super friendly, the best and kindest concierge ever. The room service staff was so nice and they delivered the food fast, warm and most importantly delicious. The suite is cosy and comfortable. The toilet seat has its own shataf (shower head). The ac was so efficient. The shower was spacious and enjoyable. The view was great and we were able to enjoy entertainment from it. It is not the first hotel we stayed in, but is definitely the best.
Fantastic location , walking distance to everything…. this intimate hotel is a great place to stay in Paris . Staff are great , rooms well designed and spotless , excellent breakfast .. overall a quality experience
We stayed at the Hotel du Louvre for 5 nights in September 2022, as part of our honeymoon. Overall, it was a very good stay. The hotel’s location is excellent for sightseeing. Right by the Louvre obviously, but several other attractions are within walking distance: Opera Garnier, Musée D’Orsay, Centre Pompidou, Champs Elysées, among many others. And there’s easy access to the metro as well. The building was tastefully renovated relatively recently. We appreciated the décor, that gave the hotel a sense of place and history but wasn’t at all tacky. They tried to go for understated luxury and really hit the spot! Due to my Hyatt Globalist status, we were upgraded to a junior suite. It’s not a “traditional” suite, i.e. there’s no separation between bedroom and living room, but it was significantly larger than the base level rooms – which was greatly appreciated. Our room faced an internal courtyard so street noise was not an issue. Everything was in good working order as well, and toiletries and bedding were of good quality. Also because of my Globalist status, breakfast was included in our rate. The buffet spread wasn’t particularly large but all items were of high quality – and made-to-order eggs could also be ordered too. Service at both the restaurant and the front desk was professional and polished – nothing to complain here. One thing to notice though: when housekeeping provided turndown service, they only left one small box of chocolates on the bed – and always very clearly by my (man’s) side of it, which annoyed my wife. Placing it at the centre of the bed would be a more polite and modern solution.…
Fabulous location, dedicated and courteous staff, comfortable room & amenities! We couldn't have asked for more at this fantastic hotel! Would highly recommend to anyone! Bellstaff exceptionally attended to our needs with ubers/taxi//drivers.
Located steps from the center of the city, this hotel does not disappoint. The staff offered exceptional service and were friendly and professional. Room service delivered delicious coffee and the restaurant served us a delicious meal one evening when we decided to stay in. The room was pleasant and roomy with built in cabinets that gave us enough room to unpack completely. Would definitely stay there again.
Very central location right across the street from the Louvre and above the metro station. Room was very small, but to be expected for Paris. Overall it was a nice stay, but I would’ve been disappointed in the value of it had I not used Hyatt points; since the nightly rate was around 600 Euros.
Clean, great hotel staff, convenient location. Bar, restaurant, housekeeping, all respectful and helpful. Outside is a busy area, across from The Louvre. No noise in the room .Shopping and cafes nearby. We'll be back.
Wonderful service before we arrived and throughout our stay - helped coordinate and make reservations. Very kind staff, perfect location! No complaints, exceeded expectations. Will be staying with them from now on!
I highly recommend this hotel. Everything is walking distance,,, Louvre, museum de orsy, Tulleries gardens, Chamos de Elysse, tons of wonderful cafes, high end shopping in Vendome area and more!!! Also all the metro stations are within walking distance so you can take the metro to Versailles and other places easily! This hotel is nice also because you don’t need to get on a cab to go places. Also Notre Dame is within walking distance. Eiffel Tower is very close by cab as well as the Catacombs!
