Start to finish a great weekend, the location - 5 min from Arc de Triumph, 10 min stroll from the Trocadero is pretty much perfect. The Terrace restaurant has great views over the City but is a bit pricy. Also they close it on Saturday and Sunday, very strange. If you want a brilliant boutique hotel in the heart of... More

Dear Guest, Thank you so very much for staying with us recently and for your positive feedback on TripAdvisor. Let me begin by expressing a heartfelt thank you to the exemplary staff of Hotel Raphael. My husband and I had been traveling through the south of France for a few weeks and very last minute decided to end our trip with a few days in Paris. Over the past 15 years we have managed to fit a visit to... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. On check in we were instantly offered a room upgrade to a junior suite. The service was wonderful. The room was massive and really oozed old school Paris charm. It's not your typical 5 star hotel, it has personality and history and I would stay here again in a... More

If you prefer contemporary modern style decor then Raphael is not the right choice .. The service was amazing with warm staff , attention to detail with a complimentary bottle of champagne and extravagant fruit spread provided .. We booked a family suite which was spacious and luxurious by Paris standards .. Is the choice of Johnny drop though !

Dear Guest, Many thanks for your kind message on TripAdvisor regarding your last stay at the Raphael. Yes indeed we are not modern or contemporary in our decor, the hotel was built in the Roaring Twenties and we are so proud that the owning family (fourth generation) has kept it all the way. We try very hard every day to... More

I stay in this hotel for 4 nights at 650€ a night, it was great but I couldn't believe room service left the tea table still sitting there with the tea stained cup, & cold tea pot, at that amount of money, you want better service for foreigners than that crap.

Very well located (between arc de triomphe and trocadero) Ok hotel needs to be refreshed as some areas are dated (even the rooms btw) but this place has a soul and staff is incredibly trained, in line with great Parisian hotels standards; all they want is having/keeping you happy and satisfied. True that the "new neighbor", I.e. Peninsula is brand... More

We have been coming here at least once a year for a decade. The concierges are still there -- Sam is a national treasure. When our daughter lived here for the summer, he stood as her emergency contact. The breakfast is the perfect size, and the location is wonderful. Quiet yet convenient. Friends think the decor is dated, but we... More

The only bad thing about this visit is that it was only one night. The views from the top of the bar were outstanding. You could not ask for a more romantic setting. Inside the rooms were incredible as well, very luxurious. The breakfast buffet in the morning is also not to be missed. Delicious.
