I don t understand how the hotel can justify its price of 330 euros for a single chamber per night. I have stayed here several times over the last years and the prices have more than doubled without much amelioration. This time I noticed a serious lack of cleanliness, in the middle of a pandemic. For instance the bathroom was not cleaned at all, the coffee making tray was covered in dust and the mornings dirty mug not replaced, and the throw pillows had obviously not been cleaned in a long time, judging from their smell. The room was smaller than advertised and the empty fridge placed under the small table, while the only chair was blocking the window side of the bed. The tiny breakfast room is so crowded you are nearky sitting in your neighbours lap There are other hotels well placed with much lower prices so I don t think I will come here again.…
We stayed at Hotel Jeanne D’Arc for a week and we felt very satisfied with our stay. It’s quiet, with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom, a small refrigerator, and a safe for our passports. The location is excellent, a short walk to the Metro (St.Paul on the 1 line), the bus, and necessary shops (bakeries, cafes, pharmacy, and grocery stores). The hotel staff was friendly and professional, and very helpful with our getting our “anti-Covid” app validated, printing test results and other forms, and arranging taxis. There are several good restaurants very close by: Salento (Italian) and Les Bougresses (French) across the street, and ChezJanou (Provençal) a few blocks away. Place des Vosges is just around the corner. It’s a nice walk to Notre Dame and Central Paris too.
We had a wonderful stay at this nice hotel perfectly located in Le Marais. Good breakfast, very good cleaning and a welcoming and helpful staff. Tasteful interior. Good restaurants and a nice little plaza just meters away. Very good value for money:-)
Romantic old hotel in the middle of Marais, we had a wonderful room this year, windows at the streetside. More French is impossible. Thank you Gwenn at the reception, for your hospitality and very good advise for celebrating 14 juillet on the Pont Alexandre. Paris is still a dream, the Marais feels like home with this mixture of old architecture and modern shops. At only 300 meters from the hotel, we could rent a bike from 6clo. Unfortunatley no vegan breakfast but for the rest the best hotel for this price.
Away from the crowds, but walkable to all the happy sights, sounds and tastes of our beloved Paris. As soon as Americans can return, I will be back! The staff makes you welcome from check-in, and on through your visit. J'adore Hotel Jeanne d'Arc
