You can t beat the location Rue Cambon clearly. The rooms need to be renovated a bit. They are very small, bathrooms are nice but without bathtubs. Beds are comfortable and basically it was a nice stay. However, my friend used Concierge/front desk at two occasions and it was a disappointing experience. 1- He called them and asked them to send me a nice welcome note from him and left his contact. I was greeted with an envelope from front desk containing my friend note printed with the note he had sent to the hotel....not really thoughtful 2- My friend sent me some treats because he could not be here when I arrived. Someone knocked at the door and brought be a bad with no note, no info and could not tell who it was from. I almost did not open it not knowing where it was coming from...again, did not bother to add a small note to say who had sent it. Really not what you expect from a 5 star hotel so I don t think I will be back as there are so many options in Paris. The details make the difference and I would not recommend except for the location.

We originally stayed at this hotel about 30 years ago when my company sent me to work in Paris and we stayed 3 or 4 weeks in a duplex room while we looked for an apartment. So this was a trip down memory lane.! - that we really looked forward to. FOR: - Location, location, location - Good sized duplex room - Wonderful Acqua di Parma toiletries - Mini bar water and sodas included in room price AGAINST: - It’s hard to understand how a 5* hotel does not control simple details - kettle did not work - downstairs TV only had 3 or 4 channels - upstairs bedroom TV did not work at all - coffee machine did not work properly - why provide a coffee machine and only 1 coffee capsule in a double / duplex room?? - the bedroom toilet was broken and supported by a piece of wood (see photo) - the same wall was broken (see photo) - the bathroom mirror shaving section was obviously only for large basketball players (see photo - incorrectly installed) - cabling around TV etc is a nightmare and potentially hazardous (see photo) - etc. We did ask reception to fix the above problems on our first morning - having arrived at 23:30hrs the first day. We were told that maintenance would do so - and the receptionist wrote down a list of items to be addressed. But - they didn’t. And on checkout the (different) receptionist did not even ask “How was your stay” or even “I hope you enjoyed your stay”. Clearly a serious management and quality control issue … where this hotel will potentially go out of business if they do not quickly get their act together

I stayed at this hotel with my teenage daughter, my sister and my teenage niece. This was a rescheduled girls trip from early 2020. This was not the original hotel that we had chosen, but I am so glad that we decided to stay here. The location is excellent, walking distance to the Louvre, galleries Lafayette, good restaurants, and metro. The rooms are large. We had a split level room which gave us two bathrooms and a nice sitting area downstairs. The girls had their own room down the hall, which they really enjoyed with the extra space. The best thing about this hotel is the impeccable service. My daughter accidentally left her Apple Watch there. We did not discover this until we returned to the US. I emailed the hotel and they located it and held onto it until I was able to have somebody retrieve it for me and bring it back to the United States. They were very communicative and professional and facilitated getting the watch back to me. I have traveled to many places around the world and rarely encounter service in any industry as professional and thoughtful as this hotel staff was for us. I would absolutely stay here again

It’s very sad that for a 5 star hotel you don’t get what you are paying for and in times like theses, hotels have to be extra careful with their cleaning process. Long story short, checked in yesterday, and as I payed to sleep on the night stand there was a chewed gum stuck to the furniture. I cannot believe that hoteles like these don’t do a full cleaning service. The day after I went down to the lobby to talk to the manager and the only thing he had to say was that it is not possible, that in his hotel this doesn’t happen, telling us that it could have been us that placed that there. We even mentioned that we usually stay at the near hotel called Burgandy, which is excelente btw. But that this time we couldn’t. So he took that to his defense and said that he would called them to check that they did Int have a situation like this before with us.

Since Ritz hotel is closed so I decided to stay in The neighbourhood and found this charming hotel, I booked a duplex junior suite and I enjoyed every moment of staying here. Staff are very friendly and helpful, theres also a parisian cat which is very snobbish but super cute looking, champagne and drinkks are offered , and they are following the covid rules which is mask and alcohol sanitizers when you are inside. Its nicely located just behind the place Vendome where the best shopping area in Paris are located. Highly Recommended
