In short – this is the most lovely place I've ever stayed. Everything was absolutely outstanding. The location. The ambiance. The room. The service. Just world class. It's the kind of place that stays with you. That you wish you had a permanent residence in. It – like the city it's located in – is simply magic.
What a magical boutique hotel. Located right on the Place des Vosges in the heart of Le Marais, it was steps from a wonderful brasserie and an Amorino gelato location and easy Uber rides to wherever we wished to go. We were warmly welcomed and helped to our room -- a lushly decorated and spacious suite with a living room, bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and huge, fabulous bathroom. Actually, the entire property is lushly decorated. Both the bar and restaurant (on opposite sides of the lobby) were warm, comfy, lux, elegant, old-world, hip and modern all at once. We had drinks in the lounge both nights of our stay, enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning in the restaurant and sampled the fare one night for dinner. Everything was excellent. Special shout-out to the wonderful concierge who arranged last-minute museum tickets for us with, seemingly, a snap of his fingers. This hotel is the perfect, secret hideaway when the hustle and bustle of larger hotels is not the vibe you are going for. Like others at the hotel lounge we met, this will be our go-to hotel in Paris from now on.…
We traveled to France for our Christmas vacation this year and stayed in many different hotels. There were several aspects of each hotel we stayed at that we paid the most attention to, therefore I made the decision to rate them all. This was my favorite hotel during the entire trip. Although it is located in a different part of the city than where we have previously been, we truly like it. Nearby eateries abound, getting to Notre Dame is simple, and the area is peaceful at night.
Everything was perfect! We were upgraded to a huge suite and welcomed with flowers, chocolates & a bottle of wine. The location on the Place des Vosges can't be beat - lots of shops & restaurants nearby. Breakfast had sweet & savory sections and was served in the cozy front rooms. Service was outstanding. Rudy got us a reservation at Miss Ko - so fun! We loved our stay.
This was our first post Covid trip and were looking forward to a return visit to the Pavillon de la Reine. We have been staying here for several visits to Paris and it is our all-time Favorite. Our suite was very comfortable with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a large orchid in the living room. It was overlooking the front garden and even though it was close to the elevator was very quiet. The staff, as usual, was very welcoming and helpful for our stay. I had the concierge (Rudy) make all our dinner reservation before we arrived. He was very helpful with suggestions and I feel that we received very good tables as a result. We will look forward to our next visit to Paris and we will definitely stay in our Home away from Home, the Pavillon de la Reine.
For our Christmas holidays this year, we took a trip to France and stayed in a variety of hotels, 7 in total. As we moved from hotel to hotel, there were certain things we focused on the most so I decided to rate them at each hotel. Bathroom (whether had a shower) – very nicely equipped bathrooms, some had the toilet separate, some did not. A super nice shower which you do not always see in France. Lobby – small but nice, with a fabulous courtyard that is all lit up Location in the city or town – good location, on a very nice square in the city (called the pink square because of the color of the stone used in the buildings there) Size of room – generous in size Breakfast – good Elevator (was there one?) – yes Ambiance - Delightful. The rooms are so beautifully decorated. We will stay here again when we return to Paris. We loved the entire experience here. Of all the places we stayed this trip, this was my favorite. It is in a different area of the city than we have stayed in before, but we really liked it. Lots of restaurants around, an easy walk to Notre Dame, and quieter at night. …
This hotel is terrible. The clientele was pretty lacking in taste, and most of the staff give off the vibe that they either don’t want to be working there, or don’t know what they’re doing. I have stayed at many 5-star hotels around the world and this is by far the worst. The interior is dated, and did not reflect the level of cleanliness or functionality expected for the price. Concierge, housekeeping, and room service are awful. Would not recommend this place to anyone; don’t be fooled by the nice picture of the outside of the hotel. One star for decent location. Trust—there are significantly better hotels in Paris for the same price.
What a great hotel!! Everything was excellent!! The staff was excellent, and professional!!! Singa- Bellman Prahpahn- waiter (spelling) Biju- Waiter Rudy- Clefs D'Or Henree- front desk Eloise- front desk Bondugu- Evening server L'edie Jane- evening server/supervisor Made our 20th Anniversary celebration wonderful!! One thing to note though, depending on what type of package you purchase with the hotel, your breakfast may not be included. While it is a really full and delicious breakfast, it does run €30 if it's not included in your package.
Perfectly located in Place de Voges, Le Pavillion de la Reine did not disappoint. The front desk team were very friendly, welcoming, and gave us many excellent dining recommendations. The beautiful courtyard was an excellent place for breakfast or an afternoon drink. Breakfast was included in with our room package and was served in the lobby or if preferred in your room. Speaking of the rooms. We stayed in a junior suite. We appreciated the ample closet space and split bathroom/toilet. There was lots of natural light on the 3rd floor facing Rue de Bearn. Bottom line: Welcoming, understated luxury, stylish with thoughtfully appointed rooms, and fantastic staff. Conveniently located in the Marais. Highly recommended!
This boutique hotel had great rooms, comfortable beds and the best staff. They were so friendly and so helpful. The concierges gave us the best restaurant recommendations. The Marais neighborhood had everything to offer. Great food, amazing shopping and small museums. You literally could stay just in the neighborhood for days and not get board. Paris is also a great walkable City. We did 29000 steps each day. We cannot wait to go back!
