We loved this place. I went here 20 years ago and was excited to return with my husband. He loved it too. Built in 1700's (?) it has cool setting for bar and breakfast. Helpful staff. Air conditioning worked great during hot weather. Quiet spot. Close to Musee D'Orsee, Eiffel Tour, Notre Dame

A nice quiet location off of the St. Germain. The Duc is an old property, so it's necessary to set one's expectations accordingly - i.e., rooms are going to be tiny. The hotel is "good but not wonderful". Suite 18: Modern bath facilities with separate tub and shower. Bed, mattress and bedding were acceptable but nothing special. View of the... More

Dear iMarco46, First of all thank you so much for having chosen our hotel for your Paris visit. We are extremely sorry for the breakfast waitress being late on the two mornings. During August her suburb train line will be renovated and that why she was late. Please excuse us for that. Concerning the decoration we have just finished the... More

What an excellent hotel in a perfect position. Close to everything near the metro stations walking distance to museums and the French character we were looking for. Great service and atmosphere and will definitely recommend you to friends and family!!

It's hard to find authentic French hotels with service, character and location and affordable luxury. Duc de Saint Simon is that hotel. Just off Blvd St Germain, and hence best tourist location, it combines charming rooms, good service and not silly prices.

Stayed at this property last summer for 3 days. Adorable, “Old World” French charm. But room décor is a bit dated and heavy for my liking. Standard room size is quite small, so pay attention to the square meter description before you reserve so that you are not disappointed. The bathrooms, however, are lovely and very descent in size. This was our first visit to the Hotel Duc de St. Simon, and it won't be our last. It is a small, charming hotel in a quiet, delightful, street in Paris off the Rue du Bac. Very conveniently located for shopping, restaurants and museums - the Rodin Museum, Musee d'Orsay and Les Invalides are all within walking distance. The hotel... More

We had a confirmed reservation at Hotel St Germain on Rue Bonaparte but were informed on arrival that it was full. Yikes! But it turned out well. A phone call (I assume it's the same ownership) and they moved us here. It was quite an upgrade. 3 star to 4 really matters in Paris. This hotel is a delight. It... More

The hotel is small, quaint, well appointed and well located in the 7th Arrondismont. On a quiet street with shopping, restaurants and Metro near by. The rooms are well equiped with everything you need for your comfort and a bathroom with all of the amenities. Some rooms have tub shower, ours, room 225, had tub shower AND stall shower. Ask... This is a very nice hotel. Small and classy. It is very well situated on a quiet street in St. Germain. It's an easy walk to river in one direction or Bon Marche in other. Nearby Rue du Bac offers shopping options galore. Myriad dining options are all around. Yes, there was street construction recently. Oh well! C'est la vie.... More

Booking online and choosing from many hotels, we decided on this unique boutique hotel just off the Boulevard St. Germain. It is in a fabulous location but we were disappointed in the look of the street on arrival, there are sidewalk and street barriers as work is being done underground. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. Noisy... More
