We loved the hotel. Service levels were particularly high, starting with Marie greeting us by name getting out of the car that brought us from the airport at 9 am. (We told the hotel when we would arrive). Hotel is on a quiet street. One caveat: The restaurant is very expensive, but there are plenty of alternatives in the area. Also, any service purchased through the hotel will have a high markup. For example, we paid 62 Euros for a private care from the airport; hotel price was 160. We asked about getting museum reservations. We paid 14 Euros on site; the cost through the hotel would have been 29.

The staff were very welcoming, spoke excellent English, and had our room ready even though our flight got in very early in the morning. Gave us coffee to welcome us. Just a genuinely warm group of people. One of the nicest bathrooms we've ever had in a hotel, the bathtub was huge.

We had a terrific time in a rainy / cold / covid-heavy Paris! We were just sneaking away for a few days; been to Paris quite a few times, and didn't need to do the whole sight-seeing tour. So the hotel was important! Quaint and clean, with exceptionally helpful staff, we loved the Hotel Montalembert. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but satisfactory and fast! Room was expectedly small, but not uncomfortable. Linens were comfortable, and they accommodated a view of Eiffel....so really, what more could you ask for? On a quiet street in the St Germain, we would recommend it for sure to others.
