The view is unbeatable but the room condition is very normal compared to the price paid. We have been waiting for 3 hours to check in after the scheduled check in hour. Thus our dinner appointment has to be postponed. And there is an additional 129.5Eur under "contribution employe" upon checkout, the staff had never informed us this is optional and just included it in the final invoice. We only found out from booking site later that this isn't part of tax or room charger they agree with. We have tried to contact Hotel Plaza Athenee for a clarification, but we didn't receive any reply after 7 days.
Iconic Hotel in Paris, Incredible staff, outstanding room, best concierge team, great location. My room view was facing the Ave du montage balcony, it was spacious for a couple or for a family of three. The concierge team helped us to find everything we needed. The hotel is located near the luxury designers brand stores in Paris.
Hotel is simply beautiful. Location is hard to beat. Got a triple upgrade upon arrival to a stunning suite. Everything was perfect, from front desk personnel , perfect and sumptuous breakfast, extremely cleanness everywhere . The only complain that I could hear noises from the rooms upstairs so sound proofing is not as great. Room service food was amazing and the views are magical . Will def return .
45 minutes to receive a glass of wine and a cocktail. The staff are so scared of the bratty customers they have no idea if they are coming or going. We would never stay here after experiencing the calamitous service and bratty clientele. One guest actually said ‘you better watch out’ to a member of staff after he seemingly lost his table.
It was my second time at the Hotel, first before Covid, and most recently post Covid. Like most hotels the experience is materially worse the second time around, but it was still passable. Great views of the Eiffel Tower, and well located for the shops. Very little space to put luggage but that was the room category as the Marathon on that weekend and I wanted to see the Tower view. Breakfast took forever to order and to come. The staff didn’t replace the bathroom toiletries. But hey that’s covid.
This was our second time staying at Plaza Athenee, and it is exceptional. We are so grateful to Julien who was able to arrange early check in for us, and to be sure we had a complimentary fruit plate waiting for us when we arrived, as well as a basket of breads and coffees as we waited for our room to be ready. What really stood out for me was that while we were out, we accidentally left the safe open and when we returned to our room, while the housekeepers were there, they explained what happened and assured us that everything was safe, and thankfully, it was. I applaud this hotel for their staff and their high level of integrity. I must say that the beds at this hotel are some of the most comfortable you will ever find, and the bathtub is exceptional. It is just the right depth! The rooms are spacious and the location is ideal for high-end shopping and to be near the Eiffel Tower. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and remains one of our favorite hotels in Paris.…
Extremely luxurious hotel Expect more If you are a rock star you should stay at Plaza Athenee Very well trained staff Refurbished rooms Good Gym/spa Only disappointed because the main restaurant is closed and breakfast is served at the Brasserie and in a lobby Very loudly and not so confotable Better have room service I expect an extraordinary experience during breakfast with the Alan Ducasse signature but it did not happend
Stay right now in room 256, room interior is amazing view - it’s DISASTER ! Just white wells. From restaurant very bad smell come to room , when just open window. For me it’s very bad experience, it’s absolutely not like a in photo (view), if I know I ask my boyfriend book another hotel. Reception offer chenge room for same one , in 3 floor ( little better smell ,same view) I dont think my problem been fixed. So, my advance if you watch photo with view in street/garden/Eiffel tower and it’s your reason to stay here -do double check, for not be in bad mood like a me right now. Happy travels for everyone, Anastasia
The Plaza Athenee comes alive during Paris fashion week and is the place to be. This hotel embodies Parisian chic and wraps it a cloak of excellence. The location is unmatched and the facade is unlike no other hotel in Paris. For first impressions, Natalie did an excellent job at check-in and personally escorting me to my room. She took a real interest in my reason for the visit and was so helpful. Every day when I passed her in the lobby, she would call me by name and inquire about my day. I often ate a quick bite at La Galerie at the hotel, and the staff there would remember me and provide excellent service. Next door, the bar was the epicenter of all connected with fashion week and had a great vibe. The housekeeping staff were excellent, and they really mean express when you opt for express service! I had a room in the Art Deco style and it was wonderful. Everything was super clean and things worked properly. Heavenly bed that provided a great respite. I used the gym regularly and while small, it is well equipped. Saving the best for last - the guest relations manager Funda Sen was unlike any other guest relations manager I have encountered. Extremely personable, highly efficient and even through such a busy week, she always managed to be there for all the guests. She is a whirlwind in signature red, remembering your name, asking you about your day, offering to help, providing suggestions, etc. I want to thank every member of this wonderful hotel for a memorable stay as I count the days to my return...…
My fiancé and I stayed for 6 days and would 100% return! It’s the best service we have experienced in the whole of France. The concierge were so helpful with planning our days and night out. Everyone was very friendly and built great rapport with us. The breakfast room and terrace is to die for!! Absolutely stunning. The location is amazing - walking distance to amazing shops and restaurants, Eiffel tower and champs elysees. Only criticism I could give is that our room was a little small but we had a lovely little balcony overlooking the stunning terrace and it’s enough for 2 people. Yes it’s pricey but definitely worth the money.
