Le Pavillon des Lettres... The 1st Paris literary hotel! In the image of the 26 letters of the alphabet, the rooms and suites of the Pavillon des Lettres reveal the beauty and poetry of the various authors. Behind each door hides the spirit of a poet, a writer, an impassioned virtuoso, a genius, which will give a special atmosphere to the room, with the help in particular of extracts chosen and printed on the walls. A few steps from the Champs-Elysees, the Pavillon des Lettres opens the doors of Paris fashion and trends to you. It is excellently located close to the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, symbol of haute couture and refinement and composed of art galleries, embassies and luxury shops. At the heart of the prestigious neighbourhood of the Elysee Palace and Place Beauvau, the Sotheby's and Christies galleries, just a few steps from the Place de la Concorde and the Grand Palais, the Pavillon des Lettres breathes luxurious elegance and the muffled charm of the great houses.

Detailed Reviews
I did a ton of research on where to stay during my trip to Paris, and I'm so happy that I chose this fabulous boutique hotel. The staff members were warm and professional, and my deluxe room had windows that opened onto a small balcony where I could sit and look over the rooftops of Paris and even glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. It was very quiet and even serene.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and they did this nice turndown service with candies and a bedtime story to read.
Being a woman travelling alone, I liked the looks of that lovely lounge—they call it the “honesty bar.” Basically, it's a posh seating area that spans two rooms and an outdoor patio. In the mornings they serve a fantastic breakfast, but the area is open for guests to sit in all through the day, and at night they put out a little spread of cheese and bread and meats etc., and you can have drinks there and fill out a form that charges the drinks to your room, hence “honesty bar.” I loved having a relaxing place to sit at the end of the day that wasn’t my room, but without the pressure of a restaurant or a hovering server.
The location is central—not at all touristy, but within walking distance to the Champs-Élysées, the Seine, the Louvre, Montmartre, and more. It was nice to come back to a calm area after the crush of people at the popular hotpots. And if you’re into luxury shopping, there are serious designer shops in the surrounding blocks. Highly recommended!

A Beautiful hotel with the nicest people and... Top Service. Elegant! (English and French speaking).
From the moment we entered we were treated with real care; sincere interest and desire to have us feel at home.
The hotel is unique in theme. Each room is named after a famous author with one of his/her quotes printed on the wall. Really enchanting and emotional when you do your Google research and discover their lives and words.
Spacious rooms. Ultra clean and a quiet neighborhood with several good restaurants nearby.
A delicious and generous breakfast. Not over crowded and again... attentive, friendly service (even at early dawn.)
We loved our stay and highly recommend Le Pavillon des Lettres (tel: 0149242626) One of the best hotels in Paris. Cozy and welcoming.
We thank all the staff for their consistent good will and professional, friendly attention.

The hotel was immaculately clean with attentive service. Hearty breakfast that can be served in the room and a tapas hour/ honesty bar in the late afternoons kept us energized to explore without breaking our budget. Easy access to central Paris by foot from this great location. Good family rooms are hard to find, but the Pavillon’s was great - just enough luxury for the parents and comfort for the kids to make everyone really happy with our stay.

We stayed here for a long weekend in mid February. The staff are fantastic and an absolute credit to the hotel. Special mention to Leo, who made our stay special and met every day with a smile and couldn’t be more helpful. The room was spacious, and with a 5th floor balcony with an outside space, very appealing- we could even see the Eiffel Tower from the balcony. The breakfast was very high quality, the honesty bar and evening nibbles delicious and the hotel felt very grown up. Location wise, a short walk to many restaurants and cafes, and a nice walk to all the key attractions we wanted too see. Overall, our stay was perfect!

We (two adults & 12 yr old) stayed at Le Pavillion earlier this year for four nights,we took inter connecting rooms. The hotel is beautiful and the whole team were just so helpful. Breakfast is delicious, lots of choice, a perfect Parisian start to the day! The rooms are immaculate, housekeeping is superb and the linen, toiletries (Codage) etc. just ooze quality.
The afternoon/early evening honesty bar and complimentary charcuterie, cheeses and breads were perfect.
Finally the location is second to none, could not recommend this beautiful hotel highly enough, sorry it took so long to post this!

We stayed for four nights as a family of 6, the interconnected room
arrangement was superb and one of the only hotels in Paris who we found
offered this. Aside from that the hotel was very well presented, immaculate
and the staff were very attentive. We would highly recommend to anyone
looking for a chic yet relaxed stay in Paris!

The hotel is well located in the center of Paris and many attractions can be reached by foot. The staff was very friendly and helped us with all our queries. The only drawback was the rather small rooms which are, when oriented towards the street, a little bit noisy in the mornings.

Excellent staff, nice rooms, centrally located. The staff was very helpful. Rooms are tastefully decorated and very nice to stay in. The small but carefully selected breakfast buffet is an ideal starting point for a long day in the city. The location close to the Elysée Palace is ideal and close to almost everything you want to vist.

This hotel was recommended by our travel agent and I’ll never trust them again . The hotel was in an excellent location but that’s the best thing about it . It was old, dark and gloomy and very small . I had hoped the small size would mean a friendly place but it was not . Our room was unfortunately on the 6th floor and the elevator only went to the 5th . Fortunately we could handle the stairs but not everyone could . The room was a decent size but it was like being in an attic - hot and dusty . The breakfast was adequate but the dining area was small and not very comfortable and service was very slow . Overall it’s not the “luxury hotel “ it claimed to be

Diderot (all the rooms are named after writers) has a balcony with a table & chairs & fantastic view of the Tour Eiffel & yes! An ashtray. Go for it. You won’t regret it. It’s a fabulous hotel.
Ok so D1derot has balcony AND v1ew of E1ffel Tower (sorry, button not work1ng on computer, us1ng 1 1nstead.) But Anderson would be on the top floor so a great v1ew. guess 1t depends what t1me of year you are go1ng &whether or not you w1ll use the balcony? !ts a great hotel. Smells n1ce too!

Dear Syrmatthe,
9) We have a laundry service but not a washing machine
10) I think just wifi in Paris is enough nowadays, othewise Orange Holiday is a very good option.
We remain at your disposal for any other information you may need.
