We went to paris for 5 days and stayed at the majestic. First off the location is incredible right near l'arc de triomphe, you can also take a walk to la tour eiffel. The front dest super nice polite and helpful. Our room was spacious and we slept very well. The hotel is kept very clean. Very happy we also had breakfast at the hotel, small buffet but just perfect. The pool and gym was nice as well. I would definitely go back to this hotel.
We booked a junior suite on American Airlines vacations and couldn't have been happier. This is a fantastic hotel and an unbelievable location. Our room was good for two parents and two teens although a second bathroom might have been a good move on my part. Sq footage wasn't a problem and there are two areas divided with a large curtain (not including the foyer area). There was an unbelievable amount of closet space. The front desk staff were great and the concierge was very helpful especially with travel plans. I would recommend dealing with people in person if possible as both positions can get busy and have difficulty dealing with issues on the phone. But I thought they did a great job. The lobby bar is very cute. Very short walk (5min) to the Arc and a 20minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The #6 metro is a 5min walk. I would definitely stay here again.…
My friend & I stayed for 2 nights the first weekend in December, we’d actually booked another hotel with British Airways holidays but were moved to here at the last minute so we were apprehensive but there was no need! Our room was ready at 10.30am when we arrived which was fantastic! The hotel is lovely, quiet, set on a quiet street just a few minutes stroll from the Arc di Triomphe. 5 min walk to the Champs Elysee and 30 min walk to the Eiffel Tower so a very good location. We also used Uber which was very cheap to get around, and each way to the airport was €35. We had a superior room, room 1, it was lovely and large, very clean and the most comfortable beds ever! Choice of pillows, turndown service, nespresso pods for the coffee machine, Nuxe toiletries provided and lovely bathrobes and slippers. Free access to PressReader app for all your newspapers and magazines. Everything was thought of. The room was a little dated (Paris/French style?) but still great. I used the pool which was very zen and warm. Nice large sunloungers. We had a drink in the bar before we left, loved how the coffee came with macaroons, this justified the €7 price tag. We had breakfast out both mornings, once at a lovely cafe 2 min walk around the corner called Cafe Belloy, they do a great breakfast for €14 - freshly squeezed Orange Juice, coffee, pastries and omelette/eggs your way. Much better value than the €30 the hotel charge if it’s not in your room rate already. Only things we could add to the hotel to make it better would be a glass of champagne on arrival and perhaps slightly less expensive room service.…
All aspects of the experience were of the highest possible standard. The staff were professional, friendly, courteous and efficient. The room was outstanding, comfortable spacious and elegant. I have stayed in many hotels and this was stay was up woth the best.
A lovely hotel in a good location within walking distance of L’Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower, lots of cafés and restaurants nearby. The staff, be they behind the front desk, bar, breakfast or housekeeping are all friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was a junior suite, spacious and it was perfect for my family of four with two young children. The living room was turned into a bedroom for my two children by pulling out the sofa bed. They found them comfy. The rooms were always clean and housekeeping did cute things during turn down service like putting my kids’ berets on their teddies or shaping their nightdresses on the bed. We were always stocked with fresh water x 4 every day. The breakfast was mostly buffet with plenty selection but the staff could see that my youngest chose to eat very little and they made pancakes for her every morning. One of our favourite things was the pool, you need to book it in advance but it was generally very quiet and much appreciated after a day walking around Paris in the heat. There isn’t a facility for lunch or dinner but there are many options near by and the concierge can recommend and reserve a table for you. There was always an element of a personal touch in everything done for you. That’s what really makes it 5 star.…
The only advantage is the hotel location is close to the Champs-Élysées The reception was very rude and unhelpful, and the room is very old and the air conditioner does not work. There is no water and shampoo after cleaning the rooms. There is also a restaurant, but it is closed :)
Concierge folks were great. One gentleman called a medic for me as I developed an infection. He even went to the pharmacy to see if they had my antibiotics. He went above and beyond. They were always willing to help us with anything we needed (ordering a taxi, giving directions, recommendations for dinner, etc.).
The AC didn’t work. The light doesn’t work. The manager says she is sorry for 1000 euros per night. They didn’t even try to fix the issue or do any gesture. Never book there. Plus there is. I thing to look forwards to. The furniture is old and the pillows so hard my neck almost broke. The decor is cheap with a tentative to be classy but it is a failed trial. The people who work there are nice, they tried to help but the management is careless and doesn’t do anything. I have been to many decent hotels in many places in the world and never had any issue. All my reviews are positive you know we go on vacations to have fun but this hotel ruined my family time.
A very nice hotel with excellent service. Great location close to attractions and nice restaurants. We stayed at the place for 4 nights and the staff was exceptionally good! Very warm and welcoming! The rooms were big and comfortable. Everything you expect from a very nice hotel.
We had a fantastic stay!! The staff were professional and courteous. The room was perfect from cleanliness to size and decor. We especially will remember the staff. Mr. Yannick, Mr. James and MrJames we more than exceptional!! Only because we can not remember all the staffs names they also were exceptional!! The front desk was exceptional, cleaning staff, restaurant staff were the same. Thank you Majestic for a memorable stay. We would definitely return. Perfect boutique hotel with warming touch.
