We stayed here for 4 nights , we took the Superior Room which was decently spacious and luxurious. The hotel is quite well maintained and luxurious. Neat and clean And spic n span. However location is a minimum 7-8 minute walk from main champs elysees or the nearest metro station is 10 minute walk. So little inconvenient if you don’t want to take cabs. Staff is nice and sweet and helpful. We asked for turn down service on 2 evenings, they said they will do it however it wasn’t done.
Hotel is excellently located in quiet area very near the Arc and Champs Elisees. Bar and restaurant were closed so we could not enjoy breakfast and dinner, room service menu was limited. Staff are friendly but sometimes not helpful due to inadequate training I guess
I can say that the hotel is marvellously located in downtown Paris near all the attractions. In retrospect, I wished we had stayed here first. The front desk is warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. For the family stay, it was wonderful and well connected. I wish we had stayed her sooner. The concierge service was excellent. A few things though would have been helpful ... to have been notified about the lack of food service at the hotel in advance when booking, and the restrictions on the pool. But given how busy and accessible things were, I have to be honest, not a major deal breaker given how close it was to everything else. Definitely will stay here in the future.
I was very much looking forward to my first post-Covid return to Paris when I received an extraordinarily ungracious letter from the Majestic--the day I was departing--saying their restaurant & bar were closed & peremptorily stating various requirements. I would have re-booked if possible, but it wasn't. Once there I discovered a cordial front desk, pretty tho tiny room, and bizarre housekeeping (never restocked coffee or Evian). Not really 5 star if you compare to, say, George V up the road or the Peninsula across the street. otoh it's less expensive than either of those.
A great location and a good place to stay. We have stayed at the Majestic many times and have always been very happy with the staff and service. We look forward to returning again at the end of October.
The hotel was a boutique accommodation in a historical building. We really enjoyed the location. You could walk easily to shopping, attractions and transportation. Greeted at the hotel and shown to our room. Room was nicely appointed and was tastefully decorated. Due to Covid, no other services available. The room had some maintenance issues… toilet would constantly run, rust along the glass partition on bathtub, chipped furniture, scuff marks, etc. Bathroom could definitely use a refresh. My biggest disappointment was the beds are very firm and the pillows are terrible. They only have Euro shams/pillows on the bed and they are firm as well. I ordered other pillows and 2 more large shams arrived. Did not sleep well during my visit. Lastly, no black out drapes, just sheer curtains. I personally would not stay here again.…
We recently stayed 6 nights at the Majestic Hotel and were delighted with the attentive and friendly staff. The hotel is on a quiet street, which made for almost no street noise at night. We loved the breakfast in the cafe, and the hostess was so warm and polite. The reception staff was more than helpful with directions to sights, cab arrangements, metro directions, etc. We would definitely stay here again.
Terrific location! Fantastic Spa. Very warm and hospitable staff! We are so grateful to the team members for enabling our Paris trip to be absolutely amazing! Thank you! You can walk to the Eiffel Tower from here!
Nice hotel near Champs Elysee with big rooms. Stayed for 6 nights and apart from Saturday and Sunday, we woke up at 5:30 due to the opposite building (film studio?) loaded their lorrys and making extreme noise. On complaining to the receptionist, she insisted that no other client complained. At breakfast, this was the discution of most tables. Breakfast very poor for the price of 35 euros asin and tonic of 20 euros.also the bar at a price of 20 euros for a gin and tonic. Poor staff behaviour. On check in they charge 100 euros dailyas deposit. A week later this has not been refunded. NEVER AGAIN.
I had no problems whatsoever. My room although a bit dated with respect to furniture, perfectly fine. Everything does not have to be modern for me. The room was quite large. I had trouble reaching the towels way up high over the tub. The bed linens were quite nice, and there was no noise to disturb sleep. Virginie at the desk was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied with eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit, smoked salmon, etc.
