It is a small-scale, very cosy and comfortable city hotel, with a personal approach, in a central yet quiet location. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. We loved it (stayed over Easter for 4 nights). We will definitely come back.

Loved this hotel - I was taken here as part of a surprise romantic weekend away! Yes it is small but that's what makes it intimate and comfy. The staff are all very friendly and English speaking. The hotel is set in a good location surrounded by some great bistros.

English speaking service staff. The room is a bit small, but ok for the price. Good breakfast with some french specialities. The over average price for the breakfast is compensated with the 24h open bar with snacks and beverages. The hotel lies in between the Metro Stations Pigalle and Saint Geore and is therefore very central. Overall a good hotel.

Stayed here for a few nights on a romantic (what else?) trip to Paris. Lovely room, friendly staff, great breakfast, free snacks and drinks all day. Best stay I've had in the city. Highly recommended!

Liked the hotel, nice area, plenty of restaurants. New hotel, friendly staff, and good breakfast! Which is not too common. Only thing was the smell - it was probably the cleaning detergent, but the smell was not very welcoming. Other than that all good.

After being delayed on account of snow, it was nice to arrive at Hotel Joyce. The hotel is very nicely located and even though we arrived late we made it to Lafayette before closing. The hotel is not big, but very trendy and extremely charming. It is very easy to get around via the metro, nearby. Our room was cute...

We just got married in Paris and decided to spend our time during the trip at Joyce. It was perfect, the staff was superb and upgraded us to their best suite at the top floor, room 606. Loved every bit about it, they even left a personal welcoming note + champagne in our room for no extra charge. It felt...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Standing at an unconventional spot of the upper 9th district, the Joyce Hotel is ideally located at the crossroads of the theater district, Place St-Georges, and the "hot-spots" of the fashionable South-Pigalle neighborhood. Maliciously decorated by Philippe Maidenberg, with nods to inevitable Parisian monuments, our hotel will seduce you with its comfort and bold design. Luxury car furniture recycled as improvised seats, inverted Eiffel Tower, delicate tromple-l'oeil paintings around beds, breakfast with bio breads and cereals under a very Eiffel-like glass roof: Everything is ready to usher you into a fun and surprising world. Our 44 rooms are full of thoughtful and delicate touches that add to the cosiness of the place. All rooms feature a quiet atmosphere, strengthened in some cases with a terrace or an enchanting view over the rooftops. Our team, available 24/24, will welcome you into a chic and relaxing atmosphere, while advising you on the top attractions of a perfect stay Find design rooms filled with art works and indulge in a burst of merriment and fresh air in the capital ... ... more   less
