Although it is near the centre of Paris, it is a quiet place. Also very near at Gare du Nord if you use Thalys. Also many barts and restaurant in the area. Personal is very helpfull to inform you about anything.

Very nice hotel. A small hotel with just a few rooms. Close to the metro and many theatres and restaurants. Nice English speaking personal. A breakfast with scrambled eggs and beans, not so common in France. Good free Wi-Fi.

I stayed in this Hotel for 2 nights while on a business visit to Paris. The Hotel has very compact rooms to start with. To my surprise, the room didn't had a Air conditioner for cooling. With summer time and small rooms, I was feeling suffocated. I was advised to open windows by gentkeman at reception which certainly helped to... More

The hotel staff was extremely helpfull and nice. With very few but well decorated rooms, and some space limitations (very tiny bathroom but very functional), it had evything you need to a confortable sleep and see the city during the day. Just a few steps from the metro station, you are 15m away from the main atractions. The hotel quartier... More

Me, my husband and our friends have just stayed here for 3 nights and found the hotel lovely with friendly staff. It's a little further out than I usually stay but still central and positioned very well for bars and restaurants. There are some sex shops, peep shows etc near the hotel (On St Denis) but that really shouldn't put... More

My research told me that the area, Le Marais, was a great place to stay. The locals and shopping was great... during the day. It seemed like majority of the area closed and became barren after around 8 or so. It was a trek away from the touristy sites, but a few steps away from the Metro (across the street)... More

We stayed at Hotel Les Theatres for three nights in April. We loved the cozy boutique feeling! Our room was small but well planned and with everything we needed. I've stayed in Paris in the past on several occasions and realize that European hotel rooms tend to be small, but this hotel made my husband and I feel very cramped in our room; on the plus side, it appeared clean and recently renovated. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
