Second time staying at this hotel and it was just as good if not nicer than the first time. Check in was smooth and the room was lovely, we booked a classique and got upgraded to a superior room which was lovely and looked out on the street. All the staff we spoke to were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is really central to a lot of the attractions Notre Dame, The Louvre, the Seine & a view of the Eiffel Tower. Loads of great restaurants and bars nearby and close to a metro station. Highly recommend & plan to stay again.

This is a lovely, quirky hotel, in a working part of Paris, that is walking distance to all the tourism sites of beautiful Paris. It is surrounded by fantastic Parisian restaurants on every corner. The hotel has small rooms that have just the right amount of Parisian style. It is next to a neighbourhood that turns a little seedy at night with 'ladies of the night' but we knew that and made sure we travelled with my husband at night. We were never bothered and our teenaged daughters barely noticed the 'ladies'. If you want a sanitized Disney experience then book another hotel. If you want a true Parisian experience then this is the hotel for you. A quick side note; the staff couldn't have been more helpful when my daughter needed a doctor. They found a doctor who spoke English and called an ambulance when it became apparent that she needed to go to a hospital. Say what you like about the Parisians being aloof, they were truly lovely when we needed them. Thank you x

Friendly service and good location are the main highlights. The room was very small, more like a student room than a hotel room with the toilet and shower opening directly on to the bed and not in a separate bathroom. The walls were also incredibly thin meaning you could everything happening next door and upstairs. The room was also in need of a refurbishment and open amenities such as USB charging points. Overall it’s okay but not worth the price.

Dear Mike, We have taken good not of your review, and we thank you for sharing it with us. Our team do their best to make your stay very pleasant and it is a pleasure to learn that you appreciated our service, as well as the privileged location of our hotel. We regret that your stay has not met all your expectations, though : our guests are usually very happy with the quality-price ratio of our hotel, and the size of our rooms is average for Paris. Nevertheless, your recommandations have been carefully noted, and we will take them into account for future improvements. We hope that you still had a wonderful time in Paris, and that you will give us a chance to improve your satisfaction for your next visit in the City of Light. Kind regards, Marcella L.

Our main criteria for Hotel selection was location and Hotel Les Theatres is perfectly located. Right off the metro stop of the 4, 8 and 9 lines, so only a few stops away from Paris’ main sights. On top of that, the Hotel is within a short walking distance from several of the neighbourhoods we wanted to explore: Little Egypt, Le Marais, République, we even discovered great cocktail bars and cafés around Porte St-Denis. Hotel rating is more 3 stars by North American standards, so manage your expectations and you’ll be fine. Yes, the room is very small, the lift is extremely tiny and there is limited closet space, but this is Paris and you’re not staying at Le Meurice. The room was well maintained and clean and our bed, very comfortable. Only downside is that our shower was flooding, so we needed to use extra towels. Staff was absolutely lovely and accommodating. We also very much enjoyed the “Theater” theme in the room and common areas. The quirky design resonated positively with us. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely return.

We stayed here in April for three nights and it was a perfect rest point for a busy few days walking around Paris. Good location, most things were within walking distance. The breakfast was fairly limited but still enough choice to appease a hungry belly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We upgraded our room as the first was very small and we were lucky to get another as the hotel was fully booked. Our new room was much bigger but just as charming and quirky as the smaller room. My only complaint is that the rooms were boiling and at that time of year you didn’t have a cold option on the aircon. It was either have it hot, or don’t have it on. We had to sleep with the window open which was very noisy as you can imagine. They also gave you a free mobile phone to take and use during your stay. Nice touch, but we didn’t need it as we have our own mobiles. Not the cheapest hotel either, but generally enjoyed our stay.

Dear guest, It was a pleasure to have you with us for this short stay in Paris and we thank you for placing your trust in our 4-star boutique-hotel. Les Théâtres Hotel's team do their best to make your nights absolutely perfect ; we were pleased to accede to your request and find a new room for you, and we are happy to learn that it made your stay even better :) We take note of your remark, though ; we effectively had trouble with our air conditioning system, which has been replaced. We thank you deeply for your comprehension, and hope that you will come and test it very soon ! It would be an honor to host you again on other occasions, and we hope that you will renew your confidence in us for your next visit in the City of Light. Best regards, Marcella L.

The hotel was decent and our stay could have been better if we could have secured the Balcony rooms. The room we had was a bit small and did not have much natural light coming in. The air conditioning was not working when we arrived and stayed that way for the two nights we stayed in. On the positive, the bed was very comfortable and they staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Good location, very close to metro station and two stops to Gallery La Fayette. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are decorated in a "theatre" style, which makes a difference compared to modern impersonal hotels. The room was very small, not surprising in central Paris but two persons could not move around at the same time! Very little space for hanging your clothes. The lift is also very small and God forbid to have to climb up the narrow stairs if it does not work.

A two night stay was a mixed bag of good, indifferent and awful. Firstly, the good; the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good too with a good range of continental style foods. The staff at breakfast are lovely and friendly. Secondly the indifferent; the lift is pretty darn slow. We were on the 5th floor and could have walked down but the stairs are pretty narrow and at night, quite dark. Lastly, the awful; the air conditioning was not working in any of the 3 rooms we had booked. When I spoke to the receptionist, he merely shrugged and said it hadn’t worked for at least two weeks. So, we had to sleep with the balcony doors open. This of course increased the noise level significantly, not helped by a local lunatic shouting his head off at 3 am. In summary, a quirky hotel, close to the metro with good beds and breakfast just don’t expect a good nights sleep in summer.
