Perhaps not for those that are used to luxury 5 star but I found this hotel both quirky and a refreshing change. Situated just outside the old red light area of Paris, this base can reach most landmarks of the city within 20 minutes via tour bus or metro. By far the best USP are the staff who are pleasant...

My wife and I spent a mid-week break here staying for 4 nights. The hotel itself is very quirky. The staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are rather small and lack any wardrobe space, there were a massive 2 hangers in our room. But there is plenty of shelving to put clothes. We paid for breakfast to be included and...

I stayed here for 1 night during a business trip and I had chosen it due to its location(which worked well for my purposes), the good reviews and the fair price. My room was relatively small but ok size and did not have a view but the style of the room and the whole hotel was very charming. The bathroom...

This hotel is perfect for people who are on a budget and want to see Paris. The price was very reasonable and the location to City Center Paris was about 10 minutes depending on traffic. The room was a good size but the bathroom was a little small. But overall I loved the hotel. Staff was extremely friendly.

We enjoyed our two-night stay here. The hotel is pretty quirky and the staff is friendly. The location is excellent: close to two major train stations and the metro (Line 8). There are a couple of major landmarks within walking distance. Despite being next to a bustling neighbourhood, the hotel itself is fairly quiet (we were on the fourth floor)....

The hotel is easily accessed since its near the metro ( subway train ) . The hotel staff Lorna who greet us was friendly and helpful , she showed great hospitality during our visit. The room interior itself is thematic , if you're like standard room it might not the best option for you . Room hygiene was good. They...

Nice, clean hotel in a great location! The hotel is small and doesn't have a restaurant but is perfect for a just couple of nights. Would return although some paint work etc could do with tidying up and there is no coffee/tea/water provided in rooms.

Room was small but well maintained. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Full, filling breakfast. The reason I was put off was due to the obvious prostitution in the area, found that quite uncomfortable.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
