We booked a 2 night stay at Le Petit Paris to conclude a 14 day trip of Italy and France-and it was the PERFECT PETIT “Respite” for us. We had a bit of drama during our trip-and it was so wonderful to be welcomed by our first names and the helpful receptionist during the day he really took charge and... More

Le Petit Paris is right in the heart of Paris - in the Latin Quarter, walking distance to Notre Dame, Saint-Germaine, Le Marais - all of it! Unassuming from the outside, but very charming, and modern inside. We had a quad room - enough space for four people to sleep well. The coolest shower/bathroom ever - including "stars" in the... We just spent a week in Le Petit Paris and chose it because of location and reviews. An easy walk from the Luxenberg RER stop so getting there from CDG was a snap. Also a 10 minute walk to the Rue Pot du Fer area with its lively restaurant and night life . And , piece de resistance - a... More

Booked into Le Petit Paris for a 2 night stay. Was lovely to be welcomed by our first name by the welcoming and helpful receptionist who asked us to take a seat, offered us cofee/tea and explained the facilities of the hotel. She provided us with a map of the local area highlighting some of the main sites. The hotel... More

Little hotel in Luxembourg area, small but very well equipped rooms, lovely staff, great breakfasts (well worth the extra money if not included in your room rate), and one of the nicest places to stay in Paris if you want to avoid mass market or top priced hotels. Superb stay with my wife, and will definitely stay again, both personal... More

I was spending the weekend with my 21 year old daughter who is currently living in Paris. This hotel provided all we were looking for: a twin room, which although compact which is the norm for Paris, it was modern, very well decorated and furnished. The beds were so comfortable. The shower was of the tropical rainstorm type which we... More

We loved this hotel. It was conveniently located to Notre Dame and the on/off bus that took us on a tour of the city. The hotel is lovely and the staff was very pleasant. Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
