One of the best and most pleasant hotels in Paris (and Europe). And amazingly…. it still looks as fresh and new as when I visited the first time 4 years ago!! @Gustavo (ie. The man with the beautiful arms), thank you for your excellent service everytime that we sat down for coffee or a drink!
The Hoxton Paris made my stay so comfortable, and I'm not just talking about the comfy bed in my room. From the attentive staff, the elegantly casual spaces, excellent food and beverage offerings and all the thoughtful little touches, they make it so effortless to be at ease and relax during my 3-day stay. In the heat of an August vacation and after a long day of train travel and battling through throngs of humanity, walking into my room with the AC already set to cool and with music streaming was such a welcome relief. I enjoyed the cultural reading selections, the streaming music channels and bathroom products in my room as well. It's also refreshing to see original artwork in the hallways. I was so at ease there I never wanted to leave,. In fact, I made my friends come see me there instead of going out - the well run bar and restaurant made it easy to convince them. I highly recommend getting a room with a balcony - that would be the rooms on the 4th floor. The terrasse is spacious and it's a nice bit of personal secluded privacy in the heart of the dense city. I will be back and looking forward to staying at other Hoxtons around the world!…
The entrance of The Hoxton is all but pretentious! But once you have entered you will find yourself in a really nice and special place with a lightful bar and a nice atrium. A good place to be if you want to relax from the city! Mostly young and special people seem to stay in the hotel or visit the retaurant/bar and the overall ambience is really pleasing with good music and tasty drinks and food! The rooms are really nice but on the smaller side (except the bathroom, which was spacious and good equipped). We definitely missed a wardrobe! Instead we had to leave out of the suitcase :-( The breakfast was of good quality. But we would have appreciated both a better service and a greater choice! I guess next time we will have breakfast elsewhere. To make it short: The Hoxton is a really nice place in Paris we would recommend. But theres is some room to improve further ;-) …
PROS very cool rooms, great aesthetic restaurant was great, good food staff overall friendly CONS check in process was horrible-little organization, staff seemed overwhelmed, no possibility of early check in AC was loud towels smelled fishy/funny SUM Very trendy hotel located in the 2nd arrondisement. Rooms and overall aesthetic were nice; however, they were small, overall check in process poor, and amenities lacking compared to similar rated hotels. Likely would not come back
This was the best hotel experience I’ve had in years. I stayed in the Cozy room (which despite the name is more than big enough for a solo traveler and would easily suffice for 2 people too). The food at the restaurant is absolutely amazing and well priced. I’m still thinking about the Tartare and the Croque Monsieur I had there. The service was spectacular and, honestly, the staff is so friendly and helpful and efficient, that you would actually consider extending your trip just to have a few more days at the hotel. It’s very well located in Sentier and you can get to Marais or St Germain through quick picturesque walks. My honest advice : Just stay here. I considered the Hotel Rochechouart and Westin and Hotel Sentier among others but I’m so so glad I picked the Hoxton instead.
My husband and I stayed at the Hoxton in late July and loved this hotel sooo much. It has such a cute vibe, 3 restaurants, 2 bars, an outdoor pop up bar, the atrium was so inviting with the natural light. The staff was very nice and accomdating and spoke good english. The rooms were very modern and even though small (cosy option) the space was utilized perfectly. It is tucked away on a side street, so it was not noisy or busy outside. Very walkable to the metro and Marché de Montorgueil which had great shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. Would 100% recommend.
The staff was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. I have no complaints about this hotel. My one call out would be that I was leaving very early and had to be at the airport by 6am, there is no staff at the check out desk that early but the manager came out to ensure we got our cab which I recommend trying to book in advance with the team if you can. Our cab came- everything was fine but my anxiety was raised a bit when I didn’t see anyone there at first.
We can't say enough good things about this hotel. An amazing hidden gem which was like an oasis of calm in the middle of such a beautiful city. Excellent rooms, great staff, fabulous food and drinks and such a relaxing place to stay. Highly recommend this hotel and the Hoxton brand!
Stayed at this hotel for one night and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The compact room, the food, the waiters and the British guy looks like a famous rock band guitarist. They just made sure you were comfortable. Then the evening vibe on friday at the hotel was superb if you dont want to go to a club.
I love this hotel. It's very affordable for the quality of the hotel. It's spacious, with 3 bars, 2 restaurants and yet remains cozy and comfortable. The location is great, too, close to Metro stops and very walkable. I'll be back for sure!
