My family recently stayed at this hotel. The hotel was lovely and within walking distance of beautiful sights in Paris. I want to especially mention the incredible customer service. I accidentally left my bag behind at a restaurant the night before flying back to California. Kahina (head concierge) took personal time to pick up my bag and ship it back to me. I am so grateful for this kindness and would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.
We decided to splurge for our 40th wedding anniversary and stay at this very expensive Marriott. I mentioned the special occasion to the gentleman who checked us in and he said he'd give us a nice room. It was OK, good size for Paris, nice bed but that's all. No place for clothes except a small closet with a few hangers. No dresser, bureau or shelves etc. No luggage rack either. But the worst: No hot water in the shower!! We mentioned the next morning but nothing was done. And they wouldn't change our room. Mentioned again the following day, nothing again. I wrote to Marriott and got a letter from the general manager who said sorry but...
This hotel to me is home away from home, every time I plan a visit to Paris, this is my hotel. The location is amazing, the Eiffel Tower Suites and the Deluxe Rooms with balcony and Eiffel Tower view are one of the most epic rooms you can find in Paris. The rooms are always clean The location is walking distance to famous cafes as well as to the Eiffel Tower, also most of other attractions are close enough by taxi. The Staff are super friendly and helpful, always ready to help and assist with everything. I would like to thank Stephane, Osato from Front desk as well as Vanusa from the restaurant-Bar for their wonderful hospitality.
- A hotel with a stupid reservation system (system bug) - Very rude customer service - Shame on you for being a member of the "Marriott Bonvoy" - The brutality of blaming the hotel's fault on customers and travel agencies - The smallest room can't even open a 30-inch carrier I guess 3 stars hotel in downtown Paris has better service and better rooms Plz go to this hotel if you want to get the customer service I mentioned above :(
My husband and I just returned from a 5 day stay at Le Metropolitan and it was simply amazing!! From the moment we checked in we knew we made the right choice. Stephane checked us in and he was so warm and welcoming, he knew it was our first time in Paris and upgraded us to room 517 with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower! Thank you Stephane!!Our daily breakfasts were delicious, pastries, fresh squeezed juice, coffee, cheese and fruit. The dining room area is very elegant and beautiful. We were served by Kevin daily and he was so so nice and helpful. There was another lady who also served us, I forget her name but she was so nice too! The hotel is the perfect location, close to the trocadero metro and very central. Honestly you can’t go wrong with this hotel truly a 5 star experience!! Yes the rooms are smaller but you’re in Paris, it’s expected! The rooms are spotlessly clean and very nice!…
We stayed for a weekend at Le Metropolitan in one of the suites and the experience has been amazing. I had asked the Concierge to prepare a surprise for my partner in the room and the team went above and beyond for everything. We truly felt well taken care of during our stay thanks to the staff’s care and availability and will definitely visit again. The suite was very nice with a beautiful view over the Eiffel Tower and the location was perfect for us.
The team is fantastically helpful (big shout out to Kahina who took great care of me during my stay). The hotel is so conveniently located near the subway and a quick minutes walk to Eiffel Tower. Make sure you book the room with the Eiffel Tower view - will not regret it at all! Highly recommended!
I give this a hotel a three for the location but it is noisy at night so bring earplugs. The room is absolutely tiny and two of the three lamps do not work (no overhead lamps). The one in the corner even has no bulb. I have asked for assistance at the front desk twice in two days and now today I have the other bed side lamp working but not the main lamp in the corner. I have had to get ready to go out and go to bed the last two nights basically in the dark. I should not be this difficult. Also, the breakfast that is included in marginal. I’m surprised mariott includes this hotel.
Overall this hotel was disappointing and not a five star experience. Check-in went great and the staff was friendly and accommodating. As a titanium elite, I was hoping my suite night upgrades would clear, but they did not and we were not upgraded We were assigned to a room with a king bed, with the shower/bathtub in the bedroom itself (less than 2 feet from the bed). There was also no curtain, which limits the rooms usage to any non-romantic guests. The shower itself had very high walls (over 2 feet) with no bars/handles to get in and out. On our first night, I slipped getting out of the bath due to the lack of non-slippery services and severely injured my leg. I messaged the hotel, they did not understand and told us they could Not switch our room. Understandable. I messaged again, saying I could no longer use the shower due to my leg and whether there was another room available. There was no response from them at all, even to indicate they were sold out. The room is standard size for Europe, but a shower with no curtain/walls IN the room itself is too far. While the breakfast was great, the lack of response or concern from the hotel was disappointing. While I’ll be seeking medical attention, I won’t be returning to this hotel and I wouldn’t advise any group of more than 1 person to.…
It’s a beautiful hotel situated within walkable distance (10 minutes) to the iconic Eiffel Tower. As I walk in, I felt like I was in a small museum. It was cozy and quiet. The decor is awesome. The room has an elegance and simpleness aura in it. The bed is ultra comfortable that I felt in deep sleep within seconds. Maybe I was super tired, but the restful, deep sleep was definitely attributable to the quality of the mattress. The Eiffel Tower lights up at the strike of dusk, it sparkles every 15 minutes after 11:00 PM. We saw it several evenings right in front of our hotel. Our room was super clean; the concierge was top notch. We couldn’t have a better service than Stephan who was always helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and his command of English is very good. Stephan was instrumental in the success of our trip. There were no untoward incidents that happened at Hotel, everything was perfect from start to finish, all because Stephan was there to help every which way he could. We will certainly go back. I’ve already told my relatives that Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel is the place to stay if they want pampered service, clean, beautiful location, cozy hotel. Do not forget to order hot chocolate at the hotel. It’s the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had! We thank Stephan for his professionalism and kindness, for his above par service. We’re sad we had to check out. Marilen V. and Josefina B. Sept 21-25, 2022…
