Tinny rooms with doubtful decoration, a strange smell inside during our whole stay, very basic breakfast which we eventually refused every day. All this for 175 EUR per night plus 40 EUR for parking. On the website it looked like a luxury hotel, but we...More

We are sorry to read your comment but we do not agree with your title ! 175 € for a room with jacuzzi bath and a free breakfast is more than reasonable in Paris. Moreover we are not responsible for the Parking rate as this...More
Room was cosy and shower was lovely. Staff were friendly and really helpful on what train lines to take. You have to give your key in at night but the staff are always on the desk so no problem getting back in at any time....More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

Agree with AeroToulouse. A lovely hotel for our overnight Paris adventure. Our arrival was delayed and we arrived late, easily followed directions and spent a magnificent evening at the Tower, unfortunately/fortunately losing our way back to the hotel and wandering around the streets of Paris in the late night hours, finally arriving at Boulevard Montparnasse and finding a delicious midnight meal. The hotel is a gem, the staff polite and helpful, the neighborhood is lovely. Happy travels.
