I have returned home absolutely covered in bed bug bites - annoyingly I saw older reviews mentioning the bugs but still got attacked!
Beyond that the curtains only closed halfway so wake up with the light... did little to keep out the city noise, and...More
This hotel was just a joke to me. Really well located in the 9th Arr. but Hotel Riviera doesn't deserved his 2 stars. My room was really smelly, the towels were dirty, the door of my room was partially destroyed. Pretty noisy too and the...More
This hotel does not look anything like the pictures on its website. First room had holes kicked in the bathroom door, and scorched electric socket in room and was unacceptable. Moved to another room to wake the next morning covered in bites from bed bugs....More
Horrible hotel experience, staff does not bother to make your stay comfortable. Didn't have towels, or breakfast every day. Or electric adaptors as they claim. The rooms are tiny( not even space for our luggage). They are smelly, and you can hear anything that happens...More
Small room, no room service, slow response from receiptionist and not very accommodating to customer complaint.
Quiet neighbourhood, but unfortunately not very near metro station/bus stop.
If you just need a place to sleep, you can considered it.

The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
