super chick hotel - great lobby - very stylish rooms in the 60s - top staff - a bit small - good located near the opera and the galleria Lafayette - good bedding - super cosy linen - cool bathroom - parking in front of the hotel possible
It was a pleasant surprise walking into the hotel arriving at a skylit atrium lobby reminding us of its past as a bank. It was chic yet grand yet intimate. The reception was very pleasant especially since they tried very hard to find me a wonderful room for an early check in. And another great surprise on entering my room as was a spacious room with a view of the Sacre-Coeur! We were tired so ended u u o dining at the hotel restaurant which was off the lobby yet intimate and the food was good. I speak some time the next night working s as t the lounge area having a couple of drinks which was very pleasant s as Nd the bartender was great. Overall it was a good experience. S beautiful intimate hotel centrally located near the famed Opera and Gallerie LaFayette!
My wife and I have spent 3 nights in Paris at the end of February and this hotel has a great location for seeing the sights, a wonderful entrance and lobby area and the staff and service were excellent. The hotel bar and restaurant were also chic and sophisticated. A specific mention to Kenny at reception who helped us immensely with restaurant reservations and places to go for drinks etc. He is a credit to the hotel. My only piece of constructive criticism is that the room was a little smaller than we would have liked but overall a very good hotel in a wonderful location with all of the main attractions in walking distance. The pros : good location within walking distance of the department stores. Good spread and quality items for buffet breakfast. Got upgraded to a suite, spacious and well fitted The cons : service for breakfast was a bit chaotic despite a very quiet time, order took long to be taken and forever to be delivered, with half of the items being forgotten.
This hotel is wonderful. I would definetely recommend it to you. The rooms are quite huge; yet nothing beats its technology. It has the newesr form of technology. For instance, there is an Iphone X at your disposition. The reception is grand. It is like the Gringotts bank in Harry Potter. This is quite logical as it used to be a bank. The staff is very welcoming and caring. It is very gentle and always ready to help. There is a small fitting room equipped with the basics and a dinning hall. It is next to a metro station too. As for the huge rooms, they have large beds and important showers. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to everybody.
I've stayed at this hotel 2 nights and was very satisfied with perfect location , service and breakfasts. I got a superior room at first floor with city view, quite small , but size is ok for Paris standards, it got a french balcony , you can only open a door , but an access is blocked , cause it is historical building. There wasn't any towel rack in bathroom , that was a bit odd. The staff was very friendly and helpful
I really liked the location of this hotel, close to all shopping, centrally located and near the metro. Upon arriving We were upgraded (I am elite with Marriott) to a huge room that I am told was the old bank managers office. It was a very large room and definitely unique as it had dark red walls, very high ceilings and was round. While it was unique and absolutely huge for Paris, it was a bit drafty and the bathroom was not very practical as it had a large window floor to ceiling with only a sheer blind. They definitely need a different style blind as at night you can see into the bathroom from the office building across the street. In addition the water pressure in the shower was very weak. While the Room wasn’t exactly my style I was grateful for the free upgrade and the large space of the room was nice. It is a historical and unique hotel which perhaps means sacrificing certain modern features. If you like unique historical spaces this may be a good option. Service at this hotel was very good. Everyone was extremely friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. Breakfast was also good. I may stay at this hotel again due to the service and location, but I think I would choose a different category of room.…
Stayed for 3 days in Feb. The building was lovely and very happy to see they’ve kept the interior charm and decor. Staff are friendly and checkin was smooth and simple. My only complaint was that the bar was very slow to serve drinks and at busy times maybe a second person would help, but space is limited behind the counter. While the room was nice, it was too small. Especially if you ask for an ironing board! The Wi-Fi was good, shower ok so happy to recommend this hotel.
The hotel itself is beautiful, very unique and ideally situated - we were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Cœur, Arc de Triomphe etc no problem. Galeries Lafayette is worth a trip too and just down the road. Kenny on reception and Rudy on the doors made our stay extra special - they were so friendly, professional and went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be back!
We stayed at Banke Hotel for a couple if days. The location is ideal if you want to go shopping. The staff at the reception is very helpful and polite. I was very disappointed with the room. It was tiny small, the bed was narrow and not confortable enough. From a 5star hotel I would expect at least a kettle or coffee maker in the room. By the way, all the rooms were advertised to have one.
